She is caring, professional and knowledgeable and most of all makes me feel like she is genuinely interested in my overall health and wellbeing. I always look forward to seeing her which is primarily for a well exams as I’m in very good health. I appreciate her thoroughness during these visits: her preparation before, her recollection on my health history, her sincere presence and sound advice. Her greatest attribute is her “happy demeanor” which I believe comes from loving her profession and knowing how much her patients value her. I am truly grateful for Dr. Tsao.

5 /5 L-H Santa “{Lover of Life}”: I’ve been coming here nearly 8 years and have been blessed to have received excellent and exceptional services with the all the PCPs, PAs, Med Assistants and front desk. The most I’ve waited was 15 mins after I got to patient room to be seen. Practitioners are amazing listeners and diagnosed, prescribed and prevented many medical treatments I needed for my conditions. I’ve seen Dr. Carper, Erica Chong, Dr. Mitchell, Jane Lee (was sad when she left but Erica is amazing!), Dr. Mirmira and also practitioners at their other locations. Even if my insurance changes and it’s out of network (PPO) I would still come here in a heartbeat. I’m sorry to hear that some did not have the same/positive experience I’ve had. Thank you AFP for taking care of us!

Rachel Velarde: I have been seeing Dr. James Kong, for several years now. He has been really good at getting to the root of my health issues. I feel very fortunate to have a doctor who listens and cares about his patients. He is throuhal and spot on. Took me years to find a good doctor. So grateful for all he has done. The staff is also amazing. So if you are looking for a good doctor who is intelligent and effective in his field then I highly recommend him. Cant say enough about how happy I am to have found him. Thank you for all youve done for me.

Kindred Hospital: Nguyen Hiep D MD - San Leandro

Kim Major: I was his patient for 3 weeks at kindred hospital. I had to ask who this person was coming into my room, taking his stethoscope out and listen to my lungs/heart for a brief moment. Then BOOM! he was on to next patient. I was never notified about changes to my medication regimen (per his requests), I was left clueless as to my care (my ‘case manager’ said my Dr. said I was supposed to go to a SNF after my discharge; he never mentioned a THING about that to me). I’m thankful to be alive, but this is NOT quality of care you’d expect from your primary physician.

Kevyn Jay: Im new to the Clinic and found upon it by chance and good luck The Place is a very clean, modern, updated and comfortable clinic to walk into. The Receptionists and nurses are all very helpful and very friendly. I always feel welcomed when I arrive. It helps out alot when its hard for me to just fake being ok and happy when everyone is really nice. Being nice is contagious at this clinic and thats a wonderful thing! It means a lot and ensures not only did I go to the right place, but I will continue to back too The team of Doctors are very knowledgeable and in my situation have empathy for me. That helps so much, as the doctors see me ad a person, not a customer or a number. I really feel important and that they care about me. Dr. Fang was absolutely wonderful and much help in a difficult situation with obtaining medication and she got it done. Ive spoken to several BH specialists and they have been the best and the highest quality professionals. Tracy, she really is the one who saved me from myself and with her spending time even after closing to finish my intake /assessment shows how dedicated this clinic is to providing Quality care. I just saw Dr Tran and she is another one on my team of excellent providers providing real help and investing the time needed to make sure I am taken care. I appreciate everything and would recommend this clinic to anyone needing Medical Care.

Pamela Marie Larkin: I do not recommend the office of Dr Anthony Brown. The first problem is the lack of attention and empathy that his staff and himself has for his patients. I called Dr Brown twice to ask a question regarding my health which was deteriorating fast due to the bay area smoke and I had just left California. I have yet received a phone call back from him. This office has no flexibility in their schedule at all. My prior primary physician which left my network was awesome. Anytime I need to go in if she couldn’t see me than a partner would or the nurse practitioner or physician assistant would. This is what I am use to and my family. My 93 year old Father has been treated rudely and not assisted when he was have issues too. Please think about what I have said before you choose this office!

We first went to another hospital nearby and the receptionist told us unsympathetically and almost sarcastically that it would be a “nice little wait of 2 hours plus.” The waiting room was dark and sad. While my wife checked in I immediately called CPMC Davis and an actual friendly human picked up. He said they would see us in minutes. We cancelled the registration and drove here. We arrived and encountered great fast customer service. We waited about 5 minutes to be seen and the waiting room doesn’t look like a mortuary.

Yeshe Matthews: Hands down the worst, most hectic, disrespectful, and unprofessional experience I have ever had with a doctor. I am not exaggerating. I rarely if ever leave bad reviews, but this one was very serious for me. I called Dr Fredian twice to try to book an appointment. She blew me off and sent me to her online patient portal, which did not work. I called to explain that the online system did not work, and she told me to email her. She still would not just take a single moment to make me an appointment herself. I then followed her instructions and emailed her to try to set up an appointment, and she never responded. So I emailed one more time. By the 4th time I reached out, I asked her to please really take me seriously because I was experiencing symptoms that gave me some small discomforts and concern, and I truly felt I needed a doctor, but not an ER. Her response was to call my voicemail and yell at me in my voicemail to just go to Urgent Care and tell me that my email asking for her to please take me seriously was "inappropriate." When I called back and tried to explain that I was not in need of urgent care, but just in need of a regular doctors appointment, and that urgent care would not be helpful since I did not even have a regular doctor that I could list as my primary doctor, nor had I even seen a doctor at all for a basic visit, she told me that my phone call was "wasting valuable time" she could be spending with her patients. I was pretty shocked to hear that, but tried one more time to explain that I just really wanted to become one of those "valuable patients." I guess Im only "valuable" if I am already paying into her pocket? When I tried to explain that all I was trying to do was become a patient because she had come well-recommended, and that I was finding it frustrating to try to access her services using the online modality, she hung up on me. What kind of doctor blows off and hangs up on a sick person who is just trying to get an appointment?

Robert Dering: Orderly office, courteous staff, on-time appointment. Dr. Gonzalez explained my options clearly and answered questions to the point. I felt confident of his abilities. Robotic surgery by Dr. Gonzalez to repair hernias went well with easy recovery.

Something Clever: This hospital was pivotal in saving my ability to walk and was amazing with the care and understanding I was allowed. Being a visitor on vacation that became paralyzed from the shoulders down on my vacation was very intimidating. The nurses and doctors were very helpful in teaching me how to walk again and educating me about my condition. I truly believe my paralysis would have been permanent if it had happened at home in Kansas.
