Ive become ill in the last 10 years with a chronic and debilitating disease, but Brenda goes out of her way to accommodate my schedule since I have to depend on others to drive me. I get so many compliments on my hair because she makes it look so natural. BRENDA SHOULD GET TEN STARS!!!!

Chi Wong: Cutting Edge is a welcoming hair salon with experienced and friendly stylists. Jennifer helped me out with a number one fade mens haircut with an accessory line, and it looks really good! The parking lot is a bit small, but when I went in the morning, more than half the spaces were open. The space inside also feels very inviting with the green murals and many house plants. This is my second time visiting, and I would definitely go again.

Gagan Kaur: Cute salon, everyone is friendly, maybe I went on a packed day but my stylist had food delivered and was hungry so wouldn’t go back and cut my hair shorter even after requesting it a few times. I wanted a lot more shorter layers. Still decent and I felt bad she was hungry, offered to wait but it was a fine haircuts nothing memorable. Go either before lunch or later way after lunch so stylist isn’t hungry!

One of their hairdressers, (slightly brown-straight haired Spanish speaking lady), does not know what she is doing. We showed her a picture of what we want to look like and she perfectly ruined it. Waited years to grow hair and she cut it like a kid playing with scissors. Bangs were cut without any direction we can’t even salvage it. There were also part of the bangs that were too short or too long. It wasn’t consistent to say the least. Will definitely not go back. To the owner, please make sure you train your people. Because you can’t grow hair in a second after your employee ruined it. It greatly affected one’s self confidence. People I know who saw my haircut laughed or winced at how bad looking my hair is after going to your salon. Pictures of what she had done. Screenshot from TikTok was the picture we showed her that we want. My hair before Yoly’s hairdresser cut it (the one where I was wearing brown with emoji).

Philip McCabe: Lynn cut my hair for almost the entire time I was in Hayward and I’d even drive from San Leandro or swing by after work when I needed a quick cut. She and her husband are always friendly, efficient, and do a wonderful job. I don’t think I ever waited more than 15-20 minutes as a walk in every time.
