He was flexible with me having to cancel one day and showing up a little late to my appointment the next time which was great seeing as Im trying to juggle 2 kids on any given day. Super quick and efficient, and great funny conversation while he was getting the job done. I will 100% be back the next time we need a smog.

Juan Solano LONG BUT WORTH THE READ I took my truck to smog inspectors on Park Ave on October 2023 and the guy there told me my truck will not pass because the timing is “way way way way way way off”. Smog inspectors would not even test my vehicle to see if it would pass or not they just told me it would take a lot of money to fix. I left there a bit discouraged and thought I’d have to junk my old truck. I was recommended this place and couldn’t be more pleased! The owner took 2 minutes to tell me the other place was flat out lying. There was not a single thing wrong with my truck! We suspect the other shop just wanted to get more money out of me. Shawn, the owner, was honest and fair. He did the inspection and got me in and out in 20 minutes! I can register my truck again! Couple tips: - the owner is a good guy but not the best people person. This is a common theme with experts in their field. I would rather take someone like Shawn who is a bit short on the phone but honest than the other shop with a friendly receptionist but liars. - you need to make an appointment. This guy is busy and may not take you in right away!

Lindsay H We take our vehicles here for detailing. Excellent and genuine customer service, stellar detailing. The owner, Lynton, has always gone above and beyond, and I trust these folks with my vehicles. He will help arrange for pick up and drop off of the vehicle, too, if you’re in a bind. Highly recommend this business and he has solid customers in me and my spouse.

Shanna Miller I just had a new alternator installed in my 2021 Toyota Avalon by L.E. Automotive and the entire process was smooth and went really, really well. I didnt expect to have to have any work done on a car as new as mine and when I called for an estimate, Lynton was quite surprised by this as well but offered a free diagnostic on my car for me. All 4 of the other repair shops I called wanted $80-$90 to diagnose my cars problem. Lynton was up front and fair and gave me a really decent quote to repair my car. I will only take our cars to L.E. Automotive from here on out. Great customer service and fair pricing!

Theresa Gertsch Drew was amazing. He was fast, professional and took the time to explain what was going on. We took a car to him we had just purchased and he did a full inspection, provided a detailed quote and was able to do the repairs and we had it back in no time. Highly recommend and we will be back when needed.

Andrew Christensen Drew has been awesome to work with. Our 22 year old truck needed repairs and he did not try to upsell us. He was efficient, price was what was quoted and even threw in some extra fluids at a no extra charge. We’ll be back again.

Diego Campos Some time ago, I took my car in due to a short circuit in the turn signals and to have new LED tail lights installed. The turn signal issue was resolved without a problem, but regarding the tail lights, I was told they couldn’t be installed because additional wiring was needed, which would make the job more expensive. He said he wasn’t sure if I would want to proceed, so he didn’t do the installation. However, unlike most places that call you with a quote and ask for approval, he didn’t follow up. Not only did he not complete the installation, but he also charged me as if he had. He simply told me that the tail lights were left in the trunk and showed me the work done on the short circuit issue. I never checked if the tail lights had been returned in good condition. Today, I was about to install them and was surprised to find they were scratched. I believe the shop didn’t install them because they damaged the lights and didn’t want to take responsibility. I don’t have the evidence to prove this, as it was my mistake to trust them and not check sooner. I’m just sharing this as a reminder: always inspect your vehicle thoroughly after any work is done. I also found that the rear bumper clip was broken, which adds to my suspicion.

PL L I bought myself a 2020 Honda Civic Sport and had been wanting to get a spoiler for the longest time. My mother got some work done on her Camaro and recommended Contagious Motorsports to me. The worker was very informative about the spoilers I was looking at and explained what options I had available to me. I got mine painted and installed, only took two weeks but it was worth the wait. Id highly recommend them because theyre honest, personable, and very informative about their work. Overall they are professional and have good customer service. I had a fun experience and will go again if I decide to add something else to my car❤️.

Steven Peterson Top quality customer service. Clear communication and transparency is very hard to come by when it comes to car mechanics, but its just one of the many areas where Boradori excels. I came here for a pre-purchase inspection, and I was blown away by how helpful these folks were. They even brought me back and showed me the undercarriage of the car while it was on their lift. Cory made sure I understood what to look for and did an awesome job of walking me through their reasonings. Ive never had an experience with a mechanic that comes close to how well I was taken care of by Boradori. They turned a curious caller into a loyal customer who will definitely be going to them for all of my future vehicle needs!

Mason Alexander Very good work, keeps you informed on what is going on with vehicle if any changes occur as well. If going through insurance they also keep you well informed of what stage they are in. The repair and paint came out great and employees there are very friendly. Highly recommend. They also were able to get it done sooner than insurance had said. All around quality work.

Tek Nynja These guys are awesome! My son is attending CSU Chico and discovered that not only had a squirrel built a nest in his engine compartment, it had chewed through a couple of wiring harnesses! I contacted Chico Car Care because of the great reviews here, and wasnt disappointed. Dan took great care of us and they were able to repair the wiring for less than their estimate! They made it easy to handle the entire process remotely from over 500 miles away using text messages and web-based documents. My son was back on the road in a couple of days, and for less $ than I thought it would be. They even sent a ride-share service to pick him up when the car was done. Excellent service and we will be going back to them again if we need to get the car serviced again. Highly recommend!

Lisa Tosi I have been using Chico Car Care for the last few years and I am very happy with the service they provide. Dan has always been very helpful in finding the issue with my 2000 Lexus LX 470 (Lexus’s version of the Toyota Land Cruiser). From the first phone call and after some initial research, Dan seems to know what the most likely issue is, and 10/10 he’s been correct. I appreciate his willingness to take the time to troubleshoot possible issue and solutions when I call. His prices/quotes are fair and reasonable and the work they do is high quality. When I first took my car to Dan I had a pretty complicated problem, so I was looking around for a second opinion (I was not familiar with Dans work yet). I called Chuck Patterson and I asked about pricing for the repair, and I was also wanting to know if it was something they could troubleshoot, if this new guy Dan couldn’t figure it out. The service department guy at Chuck Patterson’s laughed and said, “Dan at Chico Car Care?”. I said, “Yes”. The guy from Patterson’s then said, “ You need to leave your car there. If anyone can figure it out it’s Dan.” The DEALERSHIP told me to leave my car with Dan because he was the most experienced in the area. So ya, my car goes to Dan any time there is an issue. I absolutely love my Lexus and don’t plan on getting rid of it any time soon, if ever. 236,000 miles and still going strong! Thanks Dan & Chico Car Care!

Linen Cannon This place is awesome! The place was previously located over by the Burger Hut at E. Lassen and Cohasset Rd. The owner is Jim and he is super reasonable on pricing. Pretty much my go-to at this point for getting repairs done. Found about about him from a friend. It does tend to be pretty busy quite often, but the wait is very worth it for the saved expense. Its a shame all his reviews from the old location couldnt carry over to the new one for some reason, cuz its still the same business, just more centrally-located now.

Gregory Dornan Very good customer service. They diagnosed problems and possible Future problems and also Bill was very kind And courteous To me and he loved my truck its a 91 toyota rock crawler . Also very Reasonable prices. I highly recommend them. I will definitely go back in the future It was the first time I had been there. Good , I took it when I did because because the Belts were all shot. Replaced them immediately, they also put Put new ngk Spark plugs and wires a new distributor on it And the old distributor Was being held together by j b weld I couldnt believe it. I lost my 1990 rock crawler in paradise during the campfire wildfire sucked it was built by me from 03 Jr yr of high school until 2018 was done right by my And my friends one time. So I bought a 91 with all the Same stuff my 90 had but the 91 the previous owner did not maintain it right like I do Im ocd about my trucks I always have them running in peak condition. Anyway yes go there they will text you what they did and recommend what needs immediate attention or what may need attention in thefuture. Very happy with the work they did.

Barbara Matthews Finding a new auto repair place you can trust when you relocate can be very nerve wracking. I checked reviews and got personal recommendations, but still a rapport must be developed between you and the shop. My Jeep was due for a big service which I knew would be expensive but vital for its longevity. I am very happy I found D&E. From my first phone conversation with Bill all the way through to picking up my car, their customer service was stellar. Both Bill and Brooke are friendly and knowledgeable. Bill answered my many questions patiently and thoroughly. The recommendations were spot on and honest. No high pressure upsell of stuff that isn’t needed like I experienced when I had a dealer service my Jeep. The final quote was what I expected from a licensed shop, more than an under the table backyard mechanic and less than the dealer. The work was completed on time and within quote. I drove off in my car impressed with the fact it handled like it did when I bought it. Even better, I did not find one single drip under the car the next day. I hope to not need their services for a long time but this will be where I return for future maintenance and repair. Highly recommend this shop!
