Not only have they handled many a routine maintenance for me, they never try to upsell and will tell you what theyd do if it was their own vehicle. Today I had an emergency situation and showed up without an appointment and they helped me promptly, and didnt charge as much as they could have, given how desperate I was. Madison Kent Tello’s shop is the best in ventura. They are honest, trustworthy and so fast. They work hard and pay attention to detail. Excellent customer service and great communication. Fabian is also so sweet and helpful.

Kevin Cozzoli They routinely work on the vehicles for my wifes work. Finally took both of our cars there and was pleasantly surprised to have both cars serviced and repaired well below our budget. Only downside is the location is hard to find, from Main St continue past Market and then drive up the first alley on the Right.

Amos Young Exceptional care and attentiveness provided by every employee. The mechanics came through at a moment o truly needed them after supposedly having everything previously accessed at a Ford dealership.

Anna Hathaway Excellent service! We had decided to add a second battery to our Sprinter Van Solar system. It seemed straightforward but we received an error message that we could not clear. We followed instructions, troubleshooting several times over and could not clear the error code. I called Eric and he answered his phone! That was a positive right from the start! He offered to look at it the next morning. We went in and Erik worked diligently on our system, changing a few things for ease of work but validating everything we had done was correct. After exhausting every alternative, we came to the conclusion, we needed a new controller. Problem- we had a camping trip planned the next morning for our Daughters annual birthday trip whom is moving out of state. Erik got us up and running for our trip and advised us on next steps, which we feel is sound advice and we are definitely coming back to Erik to install a new controller and upgrading our system. He is very knowledgeable in the systems and very honest with his advice and price. My husband is always skeptical, however, after meeting with Erik, he is confident that Erik is honest with his assessment and advice. We would definitely recommend Erik to anyone whom has questions regarding their travel vehicles.

Danika von Gesjen They are my mechanic for life! I wish I could give more stars. They are honest and trustworthy!!! While their diagnostics are very thorough, do not be overwhelmed. They break them down to what is essential and a safety issue vs what can wait depending on your budget and what they noted and will just keep an eye on. They truly are mechanics who wants to create a lasting relationship with you and not one trying to get the most $$ they can with each visit. When I met them I had already seen 3 mechanics and put thousands of dollars into my car but certain issues persisted. They were baffled that anyone, let alone 3 mechanics, had me fix so much without figuring out what the actual problem was. They explained that the issues I had fixed were the cause of an engine problem and would only break down again. Not only that but it was part of a recall not one mechanic mentioned before them. But none of these past mechanics even bothered to find out what the main issue was. Unfortunately, the car was just past the time where I could have the dealer fix it. At the time I was on a major budget. Straight broke. After giving me my options I asked for their advise. They advised it was not worth paying for a new engine and certainly not worth fixing the existing engine and put my car on hospice care which required a lot of visits but not much $ so I could save for a new car. Now I am on my second car as is my husband. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection which in turn had the dealer do some needed maintenance before we bought. So many thanks to Amber, Josh, Travis, Trevor......! I literally can not recommend them enough!

K.L. Estrada AWS is amazing. Every shop in town turned me down when I was trying to find someone knowledgeable to work on my ‘86 Bronco —Not AWS! They not only took a look for me, but ever since they serviced her, she’s been running great and is my daily driver again. The folks there are helpful, friendly, down to earth, honest and experts at their craft. Highly, highly recommended.

jkehoe100 I trust Jay. Period. I have a lot of cars. I have been to a lot of mechanics. In Ventura County, there are two I trust. One is Jay’s. If there isn’t a problem, he lets you know. If there is a problem, he charges you an honest price. I’ve sent my daughter there who is lazy and would rather take it to a place closer until I told her she is paying. We live in Ojai. We pass unknown amounts of mechanics on our way to Jay’s.

Tawni Hudgins DMC was awesome. The people there are kind and really work with you. I was having issues with my car but was on a budget, and while they are a little on the pricey side, the thorough job they do and the detailed inspection made it worth it. They let me know what needed to be done right away and what could wait a little while, even printed me a list that was put in priority order of what needed to be done. Highly recommend

sage w There is more than one reason why DMC Auto Repair is a AAA recommended auto repair shop, and Id give it a AAA+++. My first experience was in 2017 for a AAA inspection before buying a used car. They found several issues: a recall the VW dealership seemed unaware, and another minor issue - and then gave the car a sterling recommendation. With their continued service/maintenance, my car runs like new. I usually dealer serviced my autos, but now I only service vehicles at DMC. Theyre like the Guardian Angels of my car. In the brief times Im in their office, there are always happy customers, some clearly longtime and maintaining their precious aging cars. Ive seen all brands in their shop. The managers are courteous, knowledgeable, explain everything and take the time to answer my questions. They honor their quotes - which are very fair. And I have never had to go back to re-fix or adjust anything after service or repair. Bonus:- their super prompt pick and drop off service.

Erendira De Anda My car would turn over and I was just on the other side of Bernardo’s shop and he walked over to the Panaderia where I was parked and started it with his assistant and drove it to the shop he tried fixing it right away but he wasn’t able to find the correct part. I had groceries with me including ice cream and he gave me a ride home.

Shelli-Anne Couch We stumbled across this awesome shop by accident (literally) when our car had an undercarriage issue on the freeway, and we limped off into Ventura searching for a reputable business (this particular street has quite a few options). How lucky were were to find them! The owner Bernardo and Nico were fast, friendly, VERY reasonably priced (repaired a catalytic converter cage that sprung loose) and got us back on the road within an hour. Recommend heartily!

Hibraim Rodriguez Jose Chema and Mario Israel are one of the best mechanics I’ve ever met, they’re very professional and fast, if you’re looking for an honest shop “not only imports” is the place, they took care of my Mercedes and I’m glad that I came with them I highly recommend this mechanic shop.

Kevin Adkins Mario is awesome, he has always done quality work on my vehicles over the years. I took my car in this morning at 8am and by the time I had walked home Mario gave me call to go over what he recommended getting done with a price and I didnt hear from him till 3pm. Thats what is so great about Mario, he nails it on the head what hes going to be doing and what parts you need. No call backs trying to up sale. Mario is good dude plain and simple and they do great work at Not Only Imports.

Steve Pena I dont often write negative reviews, but my experience at your establishment was unfortunately disappointing. I brought my car in for an electrical problem, and it seems only a brief OBD2 scan was performed. While I agreed to an eight-hour timeframe and the associated payment, I was later informed that the repair was deemed too time-consuming and ultimately unprofitable for your business. I have since had my vehicle successfully repaired elsewhere.

Taryn Choquette After trying a few places to take our family cars, we discovered Dependable and havent looked back! Doug is great and super responsive/communicative, and I love that he always looks back at my vehicle history when Im coming in for an issue or just a routine oil change. I truly feel like Im getting honest recommendations for service needed and a lot of warning in advance of when things should be serviced/replaced/checked in the future. Bonus: its close enough to my home that I can walk back after dropping my car if I dont have a ride :)

Susan Kilpatrick I highly recommend Dependable Car Care for your go to mechanic for repairs and maintenance. I appreciated how Doug listened to my concerns, and answered my questions with knowledge and patience as I had a lot of questions regarding my “new” older vehicle. I had compared inspections and was told by a different car shop that I needed additional expensive car parts. Doug informed me I didn’t need them and explained why. This made me feel confident in the work that truly needed to be completed. I only wish they were open weekends. Yet at the same time it makes sense and explains why I get that “family work life balance “feel while I’m there. Working through the administrative cost processes was time efficient. It was nice, not having to be transferred between departments for information, as Doug himself is an ASE certified mechanic, so was able to explain and handle, mechanical and cost information. I will definitely be returning for my car care needs!

Rob always explains the situation and honestly tells us if an older car is worth repairing. Having used many car repair facilities prior to Robs Remedies - I really appreciate having an honest, faith filled man to work on our cars.
