3 /5 J: For a pizza location, this business definitely ranks squarely in the middle. The pizza taste is comparable to some similar local pizza restaurants, but lacks in comparable crust and sauce flavoring. The crust tended to be a bit dry and grainy while the pizza itself was quite oily. The sauce did not have a distinct taste on any of the slices that we tried. This could, however, be because the pizzas were sitting out cold in the display case and they reheat your slice for you when you order in a single slice. Potentially ordering a full pizza or pizza to go might fix this issue for a tastier slice. However, the garlic knots were really tasty and quite large for garlic knots (perhaps more smaller ones per portion might be better?). The unique soda fountain flavors were fun to try and something that sets this location apart from similar pizza locations in the same area. That all being said, the food was on the more expensive side as compared to other locations with slice sizes not scaling comparably. The inside was not that clean with old plates, napkins, and oil on tables.
