1 /5 Yomara Cendejas: We just left this longhorn steakhouse in Rancho Cucamonga. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a long horn due to the food and the service provided by the manager Melissa. My order was a Cesar salad, loaded baked potato and a ribeye WELL DONE because I am PREGNANT and I cannot have undercooked steak. My order came out as a RARE steak with a sweet potato instead. My husbands order was missing the shrimp he got the renegade combo. I told the server about the potato when my food first arrived, and the missing shrimp he stated he would be back with it, he was not. I then had cut into the steak and took a bite and did not eat it when I noticed it was rare. Our waitress comes by maybe 10. Minutes later to check on us and I I told her about the potato and about the steak. She apologized and took it back. She stated her manager Melissa would come by to drop it off when it was done being cooked. They arrive another 15 minutes later at this point my whole family had finished eating, my husbands shrimp have still not arrived and she brings me back a baked potato ( no complaints ) and a hard way over done steak to the point where it can’t be cut into. She half smiled and said “ sorry about that “ and walked away. They come by about 7 - 10 minutes after that with the shrimp that were missing which again at this point my husband is done eating and our family is just waiting on us. They bring the check out with no adjustments we pay and our waitress asks if I’d like a box for my untouched steak. I replied “ no thank you it was too burnt to cut into” she looked upset for me and said she would let her manager know again we have already paid at this point. We wait about 15 minutes for the manager to come back again half smiles hands over a card that reads free appetizer and dessert on your next visit and again says “ sorry again” and walks away before I could say anything. I never want to come here again. I threw the card out on the way out. Melissa showed absolutely no care about the situation and seemed like she just wanted us out of there and did not want to deal with us. I’m now feeling sick I think we should have received at least a partial refund for the wait, quality and service. I will say that our waitress was amazing in service. Maybe she should be a manager instead.
