pill clinton Wow idont know how these guys get a 4.5. Just called and asked about a tow and possibly a storage for a day cause the engine is blown up and the guy proceeds to tell me he wouldnt do it and he charges $180 a day for storage. Im a truck driver and I had said I should have been a tow truck driver. Then he proceeds to say"yea you should have been then maybe your engine wouldnt be blown up" which was in my eyes very unprofessional. I wouldve given a zero star if I could. Very sad business practice to speak to a potential customer that way.

Walter Fritts Okay, ..... Just in for a smog certificate on my Corvette. #1.) Arrived early but got immediate attention and directional help to the parking lot. #2.) My appointment started exacty on time. #3.) This appeared to be an automotive garage that is usually showcased on a TV reality series. I was right. The mechanics have years of experience and could probably repair or restore the mechanical aspects of any vehicle. (Also the owners). #4.) As a stranger, and a new customer, I was treated with the utmost respect and congeniality. #5.) I was completely "blown away" with all of this! I highly reccomend Burrells Automotive to anyone. I will return when the occasional warrants !!!

Max Hernandez This place gets a 1 star from me. I scheduled a smog check recently in which I was highly confident I was going to pass considering i worked on the car personally and i checked it with an ob2 scanner before driving it there. Upon bringing the car in we talked, i handed him the key and was told to come back in an hour for the car. He called me backin a timely manner to tell me i didnt pass due to a missing egr and the sensors leading to it, mind you everything was there. When i got there he said he didnt even bother testing it because he “opened the hood and seen the tubes and wires hanging up”, i tryed to let him now that its there and it seemed like he didnt want to hear but rather show me a diagram, i wished him a nice day and left. Same day still i made another appt elsewhere, got in the next day and passed smog within 25 minutes of dropping it off and it was cheaper. With that being said if you can make it to kelseyville theres a nice shop down there that will get it done the right way.

J T I needed to get a SMOG check etc and so i call and answering the phone (i believe was the owner) was a very rude individual. I wasnt aware if an appointment was needed or not but I asked if there would be time to squeeze me in that day or when there would be available time and I was very very rudely answered with "we only do it by appointments" and so I said "okay well Id like to make an appointment then" and I was answered with "Im busy" (or something of the sorts, couldnt exactly make it out) and I got hung up on. So my message to the owner for all the public to see: If you want business then accept business. Dont own a shop and attempt to run it by showing potential customers disrespect. I got it, great, you dont bring in much from doing a SMOG check.... But because you didnt want to do it and decided to be absolutely the epitomy of what people expect from a place in Clearlake.... You lost a customer, i wouldve brought you business if ever I needed auto work to be done. I wouldve told everyone i knew to bring business your way. But no. No, you apparently dont want business or money. In that case maybe you should step aside and hand over the shop to someone else that would be able to provide a good service to our community. Ill drive to Lakeport instead and to be honest Id drive to Sacramento before going such a low level customer relations "shop" which from what Ive heard has vehicles there that have been there for a long time and havent even been looked at or fixed. Not a place Id want to bring my vehicle to. Customers beware

I was expecting something major and expensive but after they inspected I was told that a nut was loose after tightening the problem was solved no more shaking. J T Edit: needed a tractor tire to be replaced. Was less cost than elsewhere in town. Had it done fairly quick and they were busy that day. I couldn’t keep my care on the hiway. I stopped in to ask for assistance cause they weee closer and off the hiway. and even Tho I had purchased and had instal at a competitor they all took care of me and tried to diagnose what was causing my truck to act as is was. Todd (Wolf) I write this review for witnessing a rarity as I look for a local shop for my 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Honesty. I was pretty sure I needed brake pads (although I only briefly glanced at my rotors to be sure they were smooth and wouldnt need turning so I could estimate the costs)so I gave these guys a shot. After the free brake check they told me my brake pads actually were quite good and the system in general looked great. Some sand had gotten in a pad and sounded a little like a wear sensor so I had assumed they might be getting close to needing replacement. One of the best qualities of a repair or service shop is honesty and integrity, second only to customer service and flat out skill of the technicians. A BiG O THANK YOU! Good stuff!

Gary Raynes Theyre very reasonably priced for tire repairs as I had a nail in my tire so I brought it to B&G (see my review on B&G) first as I live in Clearlake Oaks and theyre the closest. B&G said that they couldnt remove the nail and patch it as the tire is too old and they wanted to sell me a new tire. The tires are old and tires have a date code on them but mine were only half worn and didnt have any dry rot, etc. TP took the tire off, removed the nail, patched it and remounted the tire for $22.50

Laura Fouquette This place has gone downhill and will not receive any business from me in the future. I took my 2022 vehicle in for 4 new tires, after a 2 hour wait for scheduled appt., my custom valve stem caps were gone and replaced with plain black ones. Also, my tires were not balanced, and now my vehicle shakes at speeds over 40mph. Ive called and talked to owner several times and have been lied to repeatedly before he hung up on me. Beware if you take your vehicle here, they are not trustworthy.

PARKLIFE Jessica Wagner I asked them to order me a van cover for my Honda odyssey. The young guy Matthew I think his name was looked it up in his book and in his computer. I even told him exactly which size I needed. But he did not listen. They do not have van covers just truck and cars he said. Which is BS. They make them for cars, vans, trucks, SUV, and even motor cycles. So he looks up my measurements online. How long my van is. and orders me a cover for a car. The same length of my van. Know Im a girl and i know that a car is not as tall as a van actually a child could tell you that. But he orders it thinking that a Honda accord cover is going to fit my van. And then when I was calmly questioning him about it he said I can escort you out the Store. I could of been looking else where for one but did not because he assured me that he ordered me one. So I escorted myself to his boss. My van is leaking water and this is what they sell me. And when I was in there ordering it there was another guy complaining about the same person cant even read a tape measure properly. Sold him the wrong size part to. But they think because Im a girl that i do not know anything about vehicles. So they need people working for them that have experience with vehicles or there shapes or sizes. Or common sense people need to have common sense some people just were not born with it. Its not there fault I guess. So I was told to take it home and see if it fits. Bring it back in the morning. His boss even real the box and said that it was for a car. Common sense people common sense. And then his employee gets mad at me because he thinks a car cover is going to fit a van. Which does not surprise me he cant read a tape measure. But I had no choice but to buy it because like I said my van leaking water hope the wind dont blow it off tonight because its gotta be returned.
