Duane Healing Honestly its kind of weird for me to drive my car without having to clear a check engine message every time I start it up. The guys went through and fixed a number of issues my vehicle was having and it finally passed smog so I could get my registration up-to-date. I only knocked off one star for it taking a bit longer than I was hoping. 4 1/2 really.

Jack Lunsford These guys are top notch. Primarily spoke to Seth and Travis, but everyone in the shop was super friendly. Ive had some hit and miss experiences with tuners across the Bay Area but the entire process at M45/Snail was just so smooth. I assumed the process would have taken the majority of an afternoon but they got me in and out in less than an hour; even after showing up a few minutes late. I’ve owned my Subaru for about 6 years now and it’s never been running this well. Absolute 10/10 for their service. Thank you Travis, Seth, and the whole team at M45!!

Nick R Had M45 install my Cobb nextgen fuel system and tuned by snail performance. Had a great experience and fuel economy is greatly improved as well as power. Randy is such an amazing partner to work with. He helped me resolve a complex EVAP related check engine issue after my stage 2 upgrade (When other shops locally gave up I reached out to him). If you have a Subie and can make a drive to Auburn these are the guys. Their waiting room is very comfy as well and there are shops walking distance so you could get coffee/ lunch easily.

Bill Christner Wanted to share my recent experience with Auburn Body Shop. Generally you make an appointment, take your vehicle in for repairs, repairs are made, you come in and pick up your vehicle and drive away happy with your ride. But what happens when the repairs don’t hold? That’s when you find out exactly what kind of business you’re dealing with. Do they stand behind their work, or do they find something else to blame the failure on. Auburn Body Shop is the former. A repair to my Honda pickup got contaminated and failed. I stopped into Auburn Body Shop on a Friday to show them the issue. They didn’t flinch. They pulled the file, verified the work had been done there, and got me in the following Monday, not 6 weeks out like they were scheduling new work. They made the repairs, and I picked up my truck that Friday (4.5 days in the shop). All for no charge. They apologized multiple times, but only once was necessary. Their integrity speaks volumes for how the business is run. On a similar note, my daughter had her spoiler painted by Auburn Body Shop. When we came in to pick it up the owner noticed a very, very small blemish/scuff. He told me “I won’t let it leave my shop in this condition.” He had it repainted and we picked it up 3 days later. Integrity. You can’t put a dollar sign on that.

Todd Glatfleter My somewhat Easy job got pushed back to a month and a half, then 3 months back, due to a hard-to-find part for my 2018 Honda Element. The staff felt bad about my situation and scanned the country daily until they found a used part. Upon arrival, they finished my vehicle in days and had me on the road. My 3-month time turned to 5 weeks. It was not a perfect situation, and as they had heart and did their best and got it done fast, they got bonus points.
