Diane Rangel I am a new patient that has recently relocated from Hawaii. I have been so stressed about finding a new physician to fit all my medical needs, and I have a lot of them. I have had nothing but the best treatment from Dr. Marks and his office staff. Dr. Marks sent out all the referrals I needed in one visit, and he didn’t just rush me through, he handled each medical concern with the upmost care and the time it should be allotted. Angelo, Mable, D, and the rest of the staff were so polite, respectful, and most importantly on top of following through with each request. I am beyond satisfied with my new doctor/doctor’s office staff. They have made my transition much easier and stress free. I expected run-around, but I was surprised to get the opposite. Jose Herrera Phone service is the worse in Ventura county the receptionist service is Cold & careless for the patients that are calling just to make an appointment,I hate to see my doctor Udit Kondal the in the clinic,to loose his patients do to the poor service of the reception desk

Tera Dilts Dignity health dropping people because of their insurance. What a waste of money I have spent over the last couple years without much help. Guess I should look at this as a blessing & find new help. Sad what healthcare has become.

C. Wu Zero star. Charged me for my annual check up, which should be covered by insurance. After I dispute, they then tell me the charge is justified because I was a new patient. Excuse me? 300 dolloars for measuring my height, weight and blood pressure? Haha. Too greedy. Please avoid if you can.

Nyleen B Had an outpatient surgery and was very impressed, especially considering reviews. They processed my check-in immediately upon arrival, only waited 3 minutes to be called back for prep, very attentive and kind staff at all steps in the process, clean and simple orderly hospital. The longest "wait" we had between all activities was literally 15 minutes while the OR was prepped. Megan my intake nurse was great to talk to and very detailed. Dr. Weiler the anesthesiologist was very detailed and approachable. Sam the OR nurse was very present and swift. My recovery room was quiet and thankfully we had a very brief time there before being discharged. Arrived at 1130 for a 130 surgery and was headed home by 345!

Alex Adhami A couple nights ago, my senior mom was taken to the Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana ER by ambulance because Kaiser Woodland Hills ER was full. To my great dismay, the ER nurses were all rude from the time we arrived until the time we left. I just dont get it. Especially since Providence recently merged with Cedars-Sinai (reputable with deep pockets), why arent the nurses told or trained on basic customer service?? They simply have no compassion or manners. It didnt help that they were overfilled with patients sitting in the hallways separated by temporary partitions, but that is no excuse! On the flip side, my experience with Kaiser Woodland Hills ER nurses (I am there often) is always pleasant and comforting!

Tawny Schmidt Over the years, my experiences at this facility have consistently been disappointing. The staff, particularly the nurses and front desk personnel, often exhibit unprofessional and rude behavior, making visits unnecessarily stressful. Such an environment is not suitable for families, especially young children who may already feel apprehensive about seeing a doctor. The overall atmosphere suggests that the staff are dissatisfied with their roles, which seems to negatively impact their interactions with patients. It’s not uncommon to encounter rolled eyes or dismissive attitudes when asking questions about health concerns. Additionally, follow-ups on test results or diagnoses are virtually nonexistent, leaving my own health and my child’s care in limbo. The facility also appears to be overbooked and understaffed, leading to extended wait times of 30–45 minutes and sometimes almost an hour before seeing a doctor. Very inefficiency which adds to my frustration at the time of my visits. One particularly troubling experience occurred recently when I took time off work for an appointment scheduled to review the results of a physical conducted three months prior. Upon arrival, the nurse claimed I was there for another physical, which was incorrect. Communication was challenging, as I couldn’t hear her clearly through her mask. When I sought clarification about the wait time, I was met with hostility and told to “go sit down” without explanation. Confused and upset, I decided to leave without being seen. The consistent issues with the facility’s staff and operations make it impossible to recommend this location. For those seeking compassionate, efficient medical care, I strongly suggest exploring alternative options.

Michelle I wish I had read reviews before. I thought I was coming in for an annual well visit (covered by insurance not subject to deductible), but this office charged it as a level 4 office visit and after insurance discount I was charged $661. I would recommend you ask them what code they will use for your visit and checking with your insurance company before making an appointment. I will be needing a prescription renewal (for a thyroid medicine Ive been on over 10 years), and billing let me know that would be coded as an office visit and would cost at least $500. I am not returning to this office and am disgusted with their practices. They know full well that people coming in for a scheduled physical are expecting their insurance to pay--they should at least warn people. Dr. Tanvi Desai was okay, not great. Very disappointed overall. I do have to say that the building is nice and clean.

Vini John I regret not reading the reviews here before, as it would have saved me a lot of frustration. I scheduled an annual visit with Dr. Desai at UCLA Health in Westlake Village. Typically, annual visits are covered by insurance, even when some health concerns are discussed, but this time, I was shocked to receive a $636 bill after insurance excluding 230$ which i already paid for lab work. It felt like a scam. People are being caught in their unannounced moneytrap. I m so disappointed. When I contacted my insurance company, they informed me that I was billed as if I had seen a specialist, even though Dr. Desai is not one. They advised me to ask UCLA Health’s billing department to correct the coding. After numerous calls and complaints, they reduced part of the charge, but I still ended up paying a lot. This has never happened to me at any other healthcare provider. The visit itself was underwhelming—the doctor was average. It’s ridiculous to be charged so much for what amounted to a basic review of my health history. I’m done wasting my time with UCLA Health. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Kathy Sylvain Very poor business. Called and no answer from this number. Optimed sent me keto that I never ordered on January 24th.
