A Sil Julia has been doing my nails for 2 yrs and I cannot go anywhere else. My nails are so healthy and beautiful ever since I started getting Russian manicures. I have followed her around the Thousand Oaks/Westlake area, because its truly the best manicure you will ever have. The quality of work is beyond anything Ive ever seen or experienced. A manicure that lasts for 4 + weeks! They are precise, detail oriented technicians. It is worth every dollar. I have received numerous compliments on my nails and many people inquiring where I get them done at, Juti Nails Note they are longer manicures than what youre probably used to, typically running 1.5hr or more. Bring your headphones and watch a show or listen to a podcast.

Kate Mykytiuk I recently visited Juti Nails for a gel pedicure, and I couldnt be happier with the experience! The service was incredibly efficient, with my pedicure completed in under an hour without compromising on quality. The staff were friendly and professional, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The results are stunning—my nails look flawless and have a beautiful, long-lasting shine. Yaryna Tomashchuk I have been going to Julia for years for my nails. She always does such an amazing job and my nails are always flawless! I am constantly getting compliments. She specialized in Russian manicure technique - it takes more time but it’s so worth it. I used to get them done every two weeks and i’d spend more $. My nails last 4 weeks with Julia and I end up saving money. Highly recommend!

Christina Povolotsky Id love to start out to say that yes, they do a good job on the manicures. However, the 2 stars reflects the price increase without warning. They hire girls with NO prior experience and jump them to TOP masters within 3 months. I booked an appointment for a $90 gel manicure and the next time I came to see the same girl they increased her price to $110 without any warning. The girl who did my nails is great, but beware that you will see a price increase with absolutely no warning. OH and as a bonus they charge a fee to use ANY kind of credit and debit card. For $114 + tips you are better off getting it elsewhere especially when it takes only 3-4 months of experience to considered a top master.

Aaliyah Zapata I never wrote reviews but I got really disrespected from coming in for my appointment. Emily is good friends with my mother but today she really was very beyond rude to me. Im the daughter of my mom that Emily is close with. When I came in! She gets up and starts to say "what do you want to do?" I reply back that "I want only white and to go shorter" she comes and says that "Im confused, and cant speak well." She starts to say that "if I want only to cut only and no paint, and no refill." Which made me nervous and kept saying "ummm" nervously. She kept getting a little annoyed because I kept saying "umm" which I just want to cut shorter and get white only. My mom made an appointment for me to get refills. She knows what Im getting. What got me upset is when my mother came in the lady started to laugh like its funny I cant speak well as she points out. She told my mom that I cant speak and kept saying "umm". I was just nervous and confused about what was going on. My nails arent even good at all. She did my nails that arent even at all. Some are square like sharp square but others arent even square at all. Especially, dont come there because she told me that she doesnt care about my feelings. The way she said it was beyond disgusting! I never seen bad behavior with a nail tech. She really is rude and will be losing her customers of how she is! Today, she lost 4 people at the same time! She thought I was gonna hit her like Im not a type of person who fights. I was trying to express how I felt uncomfortable. She really didnt care about me, or any customers feelings just her business! Dont waste your time coming to a place that youll get mad disrespected for no reason! Find a good place instead and have better customer service!

Isabel DO NOT COME HERE. I asked Tina for short nails and she made them long and got mad I asked her to cut them down. She cut my skin and made me bleed and put GLUE in the cut to stop the bleeding. The polish was applied lumpy and rushed. When I complained about it which I hardly ever do , they didn’t do anything about it. The nails also popped off 2 days later.

Zee Q. Come here with your mind set on what you want to do and how much you can spend. Things were going well until I kept getting suckered into spending more and before I knew it, all my grocery money that I needed to do later that day was gone. Almost $100. I didn’t want nail polish so instead of substituting it, I was charged $5 for buff and shine. The man pulled my right arm across myself to do the manicure from only my left side. He didn’t even move his chair to properly do my right hand by sitting on my right. So obviously some cuticles and nails were left not so trimmed neatly nor evenly. They don’t have a hot lavender paraffin wax dip to do a hand treatment but a packaged plastic glove with some supposed collagen liquid to put on. Like the kind you get with a box hair color kit. It’s so not worth it. He massaged my hands up to my forearms and it hurt. The next day I had a bruise on one arm which took a few days to feel better! You’ll be left high and dry with all the sweet talk and perhaps without the shirt on your back and an imperfect mani pedi. I had to trim and fix it up on my own at home and take it easy not to touch my bruise. The icing on the cake was, when I was paying the bill, the man didn’t let me close it and asked up front, “What about tip?” I was so shocked at his brazenness. Not coming here again.

Eyleen Belzer I love this place. Ive gone about 12 times or more. The first time I went, Steve took care of me, he made my bio gel manicure. I was delighted with the service, attention and professionalism of her work, my nails lasted a long time. For the second time I went, I wanted Steve to attend to me again, but to my surprise he told me that he was the manager and could no longer attend to me, but that the rest of the team was very good. And so it was, Ive cared for a lot of people who have done a very good job for me, but now Im making appointments with Carrie for my hands and Natalie for my feet. Both are very good at what they do. Theres always someone available to take care of you if you dont have an appointment. I give it five stars . Excellent place.

Chelsea Barrios Top Nails has been my tried and true for the past year and a half! I’ve never had a negative experience since coming here. Steve and his staff are always so friendly and welcoming. OG Ivy is my go-to manicurist but each individual in that salon is extremely talented and great at what they do. The upkeep and decorations throughout the salon never cease to amaze me. It really does add to the experience. I will always recommend Top Nails if you’re in the area or even if you’re just passing through.

Kali Sun Picture doesnt do it justice in person it looks way better more sophisticated looking good with gold jewelry, perfect for December. Fast service , great massage to legs/feet. Will come back for sure! Exactly what I needed.

Adrienne Nussey You know when they say you can’t get things done GOOD, FAST, and AFFORDABLE… well that is NOT true at Top Nails! I live in NYC, but am giving bicoastal living a try. I’m used to getting very high quality and creative nails done by city nail techs. With that comes a lot of time in the chair and a large bill… But now that I’m back in the Conejo Valley, I needed to find a nail salon that was up to my standards. I remembered that in 2021, I got some great nail art done at Top Nails by Crystal. Spooky Season is my favorite nail art season, so I called Top Nails to see if there was a technician that could execute the viral Stained Glass Halloween set. I was encouraged to send reference photos and then booked with KENNETH. As soon as I sat down in his chair, the vibes were right. I showed Kenneth my inspiration; after he carefully examined the design he said, “Let’s do it!” Kenneth is an ARTIST in every sense of the word. The finished set exceeded expectations. EVERY TIME I ever get my nails done, I’m at the salon for a minimum of 4 hours. Kenneth removed my old set, applied new GEL-X extensions, and hand painted 10 unique designs IN LESS THAN 3 HOURS!!! I love how after I pay for the service, they take photos of my nails - which they will airdrop to you if you ask. Perfect for documenting my nails on social media. And of course I’ve received countless compliments in person! 4.5 weeks of grow out later, I finally had to remove my stunning Spooky Season set. To my surprise, Kenneth topped himself by giving me the best Creepy Crawly Fall nails in only 2.5 hours! The price is more competitive than anything I’ve ever paid in NYC/LA or even Calabasas. Kenneth is the ONLY person who will be doing my nails from now on. But if he does go on vacation, I completely trust the staff to pair me with a tech who has the skill to execute any inspiration photos I have. Don’t take my word for it. I’m including photos of both sets that Kenneth did. Plus the two sets Crystal did in 2021!

Hannah Huang Super nice and detail oriented, the place was aesthetically pleasing and organized (and looked sanitary, they put their tools in a sanitizing machine). My nails + previous gel nail removal was $60 before tips, and they gave me a little hand massage/hand therapy session. Probably my new to-go nail place now

Renee Saglie My 8 year old daughter and I used to love coming here until she went with her babysitter yesterday and the mail technician kept cutting into her skin (on top of nails) and when my daughter was complaining of the “stinging,” the technician told her to stop squirming. Now my daughter never wants to have a pedicure anywhere anymore. It was a horrible and traumatic experience. We will never go back.

Arina Levintant This place is absolutely the best in the area! I have tried multiple places before and non of them have this high quality of service. The job here is done with love. You feel the attention to details throughout the entire time you spend here. Everything is super clean and you actually feel like you had a pedicure and not like your feet were washed quickly like you experience in many other places. Prices are definitely reasonable so I don’t understand why people complained on that. I had a special pedicure which was absolutely worth every penny for 55$ and a Menicure Gel for 45$. Give this place a try and I’m sure you will visit them very often. I will!

Mercedes Hunt My sister and I had a wonderful visit at this lovely salon. Its new and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. There was good ventilation and no intense nail smell. Cody and Bella gave us a Mani/Pedi with gel polish. The attention to detail was incredible. My nails look great! Their prices were reasonable. It was a great experience and well definitely be back!

Giselle Shuken I have been coming to Polka Dot for over a year now and have had the absolute best experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I go to Jasmine for bio gel and her quality work is outstanding! She always nails it lol She also is fantastic with unique designs (check out the pictures). I also receive great pedicures here no matter who does them. I’m constantly getting complimented on my nails. So if you’re a picky girl like me (shape, color options, want fun holiday designs) and want to leave the salon feeling more fabulous than you can in, you MUST come here! 10/10 recommend all day long!

Lauren Stanford White First timer at Polka Dot, and they KILLED IT. Holly means business in the best way. Shaped my nieces acrylics beautifully. Haley SLAYs the design art. Wendy is friendly and ADORABLE and we will for sure be back. Highly recommend!

Bridget Nelson We moved to Thousand Oaks 18 months ago from the valley and needed to find our new nail shop. My daughter and I were trying to find a nail shop that we liked. After trying a few that we didnt like, we found Polka Dot! They are our go to and we go consistently every two weeks. All of the staff are funny, professional, and take pride in their work. They engage in conversation and make an effort to get to know you. We do Bio Gel nails and Gel Deluxe Pedicures and its well worth the money. This is our relaxation and pampering time. The spa chairs are amazing. The prices are competitive and the top quality products and the Volcano Spa products are amazing with the scents of the scrubs, leg mask, and lotions. The Milk and Honey Pedicure is also one of our favorites. There are tons of choices for polishes and the nail designs that the various technicians can do are top notch. Obviously, prices for designs vary based on the complexity of the design. The photos on their IG and FB pages are just a small sample of what they do. If youre looking for a new nail spot, try Polka Dot. Id recommend making an appointment as theyre getting pretty popular. All of the technicians are great.

Mathis Hubbard I had been running around all day, and I needed a little break, so I decided to pop into this salon. The moment I entered, the calm atmosphere made all my stress melt away. The technician was absolutely amazing—she took her time and made sure every detail was perfect. My nails looked beautiful, and the design was so well done, I couldn’t stop admiring them. The level of professionalism and care at this salon is beyond impressive, and I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Shane would leave a 0 star rating if i could, my girlfriend went in to get her nails done paying 80 dollars and they ended up doing the wrong nails and wrong length and won’t fix there mistake and want to make her pay full price for a their mistake. bad service.

Rachel Adams Very nice people, but very poor job doing gel nail fill… the guy just laid the gel over and didn’t shape or file it and told me he was done. After I mentioned that the gel is on my cuticles and sides of my fingers, he then cuts the gel off to shape them (this is after polish). Then I asked him why he didn’t file them, and then he tried to file afterward. I still have all the gel on my cuticles and the nails are not shaped - just looks like melted fake nails on my nail beds. Really disappointing- especially for the high pricing. I won’t be coming back here.

Robyn Weston I went in for a manicure yesterday. I have naturally long nails which I definitely take care of. I’ve never had a manicure that required a drill to remove the cuticles. Not one cuticle tool in sight for my hands. The nail polish didn’t even last 3 hour before turning brown and peeling off in full nail shedding. Perhaps that’s because I was only deserving of one coat of nail polish. Obviously low quality. Now, I have marks in my nails from the use of the drill. I won’t be going back here. They seemed more interested getting a gel polish up-sale than anything else. Disappointing establishment for such a simple service. The nail technician was a nice lady but that’s not what I paid for. A cosmology school would have done a better job.

Cyn Helms Andy did a fantastic job on my new set of acrylic nails and my new hair color/cut!!! The salon is very clean, everyone was pleasant and helpful. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. Appointments arent required but durning busy hours its best to call before you leave if you dont have time to wait. Overall I feel the price was fair to me and Andy. I will definitely be going back. Definitely Recommend ٭٭٭٭٭

Ashley Schroeder I was hoping to have a great experience on my second trip but unfortunately I didnt. Your experience will depend on who you see. Today I wish I hadnt gone in, I spent $65 on nails Im going to spend hours removing when I get home. None of them are the same shape or thickness, she was too distracted to be consistent, and its not what I asked for because she didnt think what I wanted would look good to her so she refused to do it. It was a very quiet appointment and now all I want to do is cry looking at these hideous nails I shouldve never paid for. Just ask a lot of questions before they start, like I shouldve. I absolutely love this salon! I had been hunting for awhile for a new place and Ive found it! Theyre so nice and they are very knowledgeable, far more concerned about my nail health than just putting on whatever. She took the time to explain keeping the nails healthy and doing the dip vs the gel vs acrylic and listened to what I was looking for and how I wanted my nails to look. My pedicure was incredibly relaxing and my skin feels amazing! I cant say enough good things about my experience, Ill definitely come back. I found my new place ❤️

Don Robert Not sure why people are disappointed I was very happy. First off they dont have the jacked up high prices like most NP vendors. Ands they were able to accommodate me pretty quickly. $25 +5 tip for a really solid pedicure.

Hannah Stordeur While all the nail techs here are talented, Rose especially does fantastic work. I trust her to keep my nails natural looking and not glob on acrylic or gel polish like so many salons do. Prices are reasonable and the environment is nice. Bit of a hidden gem here in Newbury Park!

Most the reviews are old...this is 9 29 2023 ...had to redo my paint on my feet got agitated that I brought my own supplies( but I dont know how I got my infection on my finger) lady doing my hands her nails were disgusting and she was using her nails to wipe off the over polish....so, not a good time. I tried them before but will definitely not be back. Note . Use a brush not your nails...thats hasty And not ALL people like the tv gossip shows....play music! To please ALL your customers

Jaclyn Copeland They usually do a good job. My last visit was rough. Cold water in pedi, cold water in mani bowl, waited 20 minutes with an apt for someone to start my pedi. When they cut my toenails she tapped the cutters and SOMEONE ELSES nail came out! Mine were not that long ever. Then the file fell on the floor and she picked it up and kept using it! Made me feel all things were dirty.

Stephanie Aguirre Feb ‘25 update: Mr. T is no longer here, but I’ve gone to Vy two times and I’ve been super happy with my nails. The second time I went, I wanted my shape to be more pointed than the first time she did my nails. She is amazing! Mr. T did my wedding nails (Gel X) and they came out amazing. I was a bit nervous since I’ve never done Gel X and also it was my first time with Mr. T. I found him after reviewing recent reviews/review photo on Yelp/Google. I came in with an inspo pic (French pearl acrylic with pearls) but ended up leaving with ombré white tips. It exceeded my expectations and excited to see how it will look in my wedding photos and video. Thank you, Mr. T! Also I garden during my free time and my nails have held up nicely after one week!

Jackie M Alex and Andrew are the kindest and most hospitable nail shop owners. You are greeted with smiles and great attitudes. They truly care to make sure you are comfortable and happy with their services. Their communication is impeccable and I’ve NEVER waited more than 1 minute for my services. The salon is squeaky clean, peaceful and quiet. Everyone is experienced here. Alex is my fav for pedicures. Andrew does my teenager’s acrylics and she raves that he has all the cool designs.

Deborah Sweeney The first few times I was there were okay. I had been looking at many places in Thousand Oaks that would do a good job on my nails. After about 5 places I came to village nails and Andrew did a great job on my nails. His attitude wasn’t good. I dismissed it because everyone has a bad day. It was this last time I went there that did me in! When I got there I could see that they were really busy. After being seated Andrew approached me to tell me that he couldn’t do my nails because they overbooked and he had to do his other client. I thought I wasn’t important but I said ok. He had another girl that started to work on me. She left for a minute and when she came back she said she had to help another client and that someone else was going to help me and Andrew told her that he would give me a discount. My nails were half way done so what else could I do? That girl did a great job which made me happy. When I went to pay for my services I was expecting Andrew to give me some kind of discount. Instead, the amount was way over! I was so upset by that time that all I wanted to do was get out of there! I tipped the girls and left. The people that work there are great! It’s that Andrew didn’t tell the truth with the discount and that he passed me around like I didn’t matter. When I go to get my nails done I expect to be pampered and treated with respect. To relax and leave loving my nails and pedicure. The salon is clean and Alex seems to be great, but Andrew is not even close to be running a business like this. I hope he can make some changes for the people that do a good job there. I’ve found a new place that I’m being pampered like I should be. Andrew, I wasn’t on your books for today. It was a week ago this happened. Don’t try to wiggle out of it!!

Misty Miller New to the area and want to find a good place. I schedule an appointment and ask for the deluxe pedicure, which is $65 and for a set of nails I got the gel x and gel pedicure walked out with $170 bill. The nails are good. I like them, however, then $90 pedicure is insane and I did not get what the $65 pedicure offers. I didn’t get the neck towel and the massage was maybe two or three minutes if you can even call it a massage at all. the hot stones was less than a minute and was included in a massage. definitely not worth $90. I’m not sure what the going rate for a typical gel X with design but 90 did seem reasonable for the nails. But For the pedicure that’s a way no go no way will ever pay $90 again for not getting half of what you’re supposed to.

Edith Sanamyan Quality work, my biogel does not crack, or fade. My nails are stronger and they grow longer without braking. I wish pedicure was done with a little more care. It seems some of the ladies rush through and it takes the relaxation away. Also my toe nails are discolored and their explanation is; it is from the nail polish. Ben does amazing manicure. He will do any design you show him!❤️

Staci Shimek Best nail salon! Recently under new ownership, expect excellent service and work!! I have been getting my nails done for a few years and visits to many salons, but since I found Helen, I have not turned back. Now, my gel manicure is very easy to maintain and I rarely every have acrylic breakage. Biogel is also available. Helen is hands down the best artist ever! Her attention to detail is great and she is always willing to work with the client. She really goes above and beyond the normal mani-pedi. Clean, professional, friendly, and flexible. Tammy and Tania both do a wonderful! pedicure and I really love the designs they do The prices are competitive and the selection of polishes is wonderful. Helen runs the shop beautifully and is always very welcome and attentive to customers. Helen even found a special liquid for my acrylics so I don’t get the allergic itches afterward like I used to.. The selection of gel colors is great! Please bring cash to tip the ladies directly and if you can pay cash or write a check for the service that helps them even more to keep their prices competitive. Teryn Heninger This is my all time favorite nail salon the owner Helen is just amazing and it’s such a great environment. I have been coming here for over 5 years and not once have I had a bad experience with the employees. 10/10 recommend they are very accommodating to your needs. They also do a great job at doing mani pedis, dip powder, bio gel, gel and much more. Everything is great!!!

Yasi Alaee I’ve never been anywhere that mess up my pedicure. I did a shimmer white and tried not to choose an Esse so it’s not thin and they still didn’t do a great job on my polish. My manicure doesn’t look great either. I honestly could have done a better job myself. I went to this place based on the good reviews however I got quite disappointed.

Marissa Viola This is my absolute favorite place I’ve ever had my nails done and I am a dedicated regular! My bio gel nails always last for 3 weeks, my nails are stronger than ever and love that they are always excited to try something new with chrome, designs, etc.

Came in earlier this week after letting my nails grow out for way too long and had a new set done by Tiffany . She was quick, did an impeccable job and gave me a new set of flawless matte black coffin nails. Will be coming back soon.

Jodie Ahmed Great service!. My technician was efficient, and the color application was smooth and opaque. There were some edges where the polish got on my skin, but that washed off easily enough. I would love to come back another time when I can keep my nails longer to get a gel manicure with a more intricate design.Regular Manicure

Georgina Nelson I went for the first time today and WOW it was amazing. I did a walk-in and 100% going back again. I got a matte finish, gel manicure. All I did was show two photos of the shape, color and design I wanted. Incredible!!!!!!!!!! Go and you will have no regrets

AARON RYAN Lavish Nails & Spa is my favorite nail salon in Thousand Oaks! I have gotten gel manicures, dip manicures, and pedicures here. Every service I have had has been great and every nail tech Ive had has been excellent. I have not found another nail salon in Thousand Oaks that even begins to compare to Lavish Nails & Spa!

kal loul This place is a nightmare. They trick you with pricing. The lady was watching a tv show on her phone as she did my toe nails. I was afraid and thought she was going to clip my toes off. She convinced me to pay extra to get callus removed but did a poor job and I showed her the areas she missed then she blamed me and said it was my feet that are very dry. The manicure was less than mediocre and she kept many cuticles and I kept pointing out areas she missed til I got tired of correcting her. Getting my nails done is usually a relaxing process and this was far from relaxing. I got a clear polish on my nails and literally started to chip off the same day I got them done. I’ve had it last over 2 weeks every time I’ve done my nails at my salon in NYC. I don’t recommend them unless you’re looking for something very temporary. Overall im happy my nails, fingers and toes are still intact because man that lady was not paying attention

Emma Andersen I never post reviews, but have to for Love Nail Salon. I grew up in the area and used to come to the salon when I was younger, since then, it has changed ownerships a couple times. Ever since Tracy took over a few years ago, it’s been better than ever! I drive all the way out from Santa Monica to get my nails done here. They also have bio-gel, which I love and the prices are very fair. Tracy truly cares that everyone has a great experience and is such a kind and sweet person. Today I got a French gel manicure and love it. Highly recommend!
