5 /5 a kim: Big THANK YOU to Morph Fitness, Wayne, and my coach Bobby! I reupped after hitting my goal weight in the first 4 months of training and now another 4 months in, Ive gotten stronger and working on building back up muscle.
Never worked out, never been to a gym, so was super nervous about signing up for personal training. After checking out few websites and reviews, felt most comfortable signing up with Morph/Wayne, since they werent in-your-face intense and had a more compassionate take on you and your whole health.
Ive learned a LOT. About eating, about fat and muscle, about all these exercises and stretching. Bobby is a really good teacher/coach and especially so for total beginners. First few months were about building a foundation (since I knew nothing) and making sure I didnt injure myself (since I came in with pretty bad shoulder and back pain). Bobby is very, very good at explaining things and breaking things down. Ill struggle to follow an exercise and will just mimic the motions but hell try all different ways to explain or demonstrate so that I get a muscle memory-level of understanding. You can tell he is well-studied; he always has an answer to all my questions about the body/muscles, how things move or are connected. The workouts have been thoughtfully paced so that the wins are achievable little-by-little and sustainable in the long run.
