    Kepola: We were gifted a jersey from this store, but it was the wrong size so we were told by the staff that we could exchange it. Along with my newborn baby (not an easy task ) I brought the jersey (unused and in pristine condition, tags attached and still in the bag) back, but was then told that their exchange period was only 30 days (we were not told that by staff and its not printed on the receipt) and that we could not change sizes, even though the size we needed was hanging right on the wall next to me. I explained my situation, that it was hard for me as a mother with a brand new baby and my husband working 7 days a week, for us to get back there. I asked for their understanding, and flexibility, but they refused. I am so disappointed with this business! Now we have a $100+ jersey from them that we cannot wear all because this business was not willing to apply ethical business practice, especially for a brand new mother. We will not be recommending this business to anyone on my husbands soccer team or anyone at all for that matter. Instead we will be recommending other places that have longer exchange policies or are more understanding with customers. This business has lost our business and we do not plan to ever go back! Also, the woman who I spoke with was very rude!

They work with all kinds of budgets and ideas too! Highly highly recommend. Living near Yosemite I go all the way to Sonoma County to have my pieces worked on!

    Nicole Robledo: Montoya is amazing to work with! We came to them with an idea and they helped us design a beautiful set of wedding bands, even fitting it perfectly with the engagement ring. A couple of months before the wedding, the center stone chipped in the engagement ring, and Montoya worked with us and our insurance to find a replacement and get it set in time. The new stone is so perfect, and our rings turned out even better than we imagined. We’re so grateful for Montoya’s expertise and care— So grateful to have found an amazing jeweler for all our jewelry needs!

Not only was I pleased with the quick service and care that Nick provided, but he was professional, friendly, and explained in detail how he repaired, reset the stones, cleaned and polished my ring. I am beyond thrilled and honestly, my ring looks better than brand new, if thats at all possible. Very reasonable rates, too. I would only recommend Gold Rush Jewelers for any of your jewelry needs. Best in town!

    Chloe Bells: Super cute jewelry and nice staff but way too expensive for costume jewelry. The rings I got are super cute and said on the packaging that they were silver but it immediately turned my fingers green and began to rust. I wouldnt recommend this store.

    Cindy Hohendorf: My fiancée’s parents got their original wedding rings made by David so it was only right to keep the tradition living on. When I received my engagement ring, I was shocked at how well made this custom ring was. I have friends who have had issues with prongs losing diamonds, diamonds not being set properly etc but I’m happy to share that I haven’t had an issue in the 1.5 years I’ve had it! I’ve worn the ring in the ocean, to the gym, etc and it has held up really really well. I highly recommend David’s work!

    Sara Brett: I found this business earlier this year. Have sold a few gold necklaces that my family gave to me and I simply have no desire to wear them. What I really like about this store is the excellent customer service its very low key and they dont give you hassles or ask you questions about the origin of your jewelry. Ive been assisted by Alan both times I went in and hes really friendly and very speedy in checking the gold to make sure its real Im pretty sure he has many decades of experience and has no confusion on his end. He likes to be helpful and sometimes I strike up a chat and he is pleasant to talk to you. I havent got to know the other staff yet but next time Ill see what they have to say.. but like I said, the low-key casual atmosphere is something that I really like here. Ive been to some other gold exchange stores where they seemed mistrusting of me, like they were wondering why I had some items or would take my thumbprint and make me feel like I did something wrong, but not this place.

    Tiffany Pugh: Love it here! Great, reasonable prices for their quality jewelry. My 9-year-old daughter loves hanging out in here and they treat her like a person. Go figure! The prices are so fair, that I can buy pieces for the youngster without breaking the bank or losing my mind if she loses them. Super cute gift wrapping available.

    _: I normally hesitate to leave negative reviews, but I feel my recent experience has left me no other choice. I brought in a few grams of 14k scrap to get a ballpark offer. Thats all. Simple and plain. The extremely unprofessional and unpleasant, and honestly very unhelpful woman held her hand out and dumped what i handed her on the counter, and within seconds, she determined that pieces that I personally tested with acid, and were marked, were not gold. I asked her if she could please test them further as i was sure they were gold. She denied my request by saying "Im not here to teach you", and offered me $100 for what was well over 3 grams of 14k. And Im not exaggerating, she interrupted me mid-sentence to help a couple behind me because they were a "sale" meaning their time was more important than mine because i was not purchasing anything. I waited, politely, for the couple to be helped, and then i asked her how much she paid per gram. Which i guess is an absurd question to ask apparently. She said she pays "by the piece" meaning she rips people off by low balling the shit out of them and then tells them thy wont find better offers anywhere else. I was so offended, i couldnt believe what was happening. Anyway, long story short, DO NOT sell your jewelry here. You will find better offers, and kinder people literally ANYWHERE else. Also, i feel i should note that a friend of mine had purchased a pendant from this business that was marked 24k, and it turned out to be plated. She paid over $500 and they refused to resolve the situation. Nothing but lazy crooks. They should honestly be investigated.
