5 /5 Emely Hagins: I love this credit union. The employee are great and very personable. When we moved here to Antioch in 1995 my husband got a job with the school district. Many of his coworkers told him he should join, so we did. Our children, at the time in grade school each had an account and received scottie bucks for saving. They loved it and still have accounts there today! Weve had the pleasure of obtaining, auto loans, signature loans, refinancing, and a home loan via their associates. All at amazing rates. All the folks at their Lonetree office are so nice! Margie is fantastic!!

3 /5 Mary Rose: They are alright and friendly, but that you have to pay for a checking account is ridiculous! There is a $5 monthly fee for their checking. I havent paid for a checking account in over 30 years. This credit union is not as easy as others in the area, and they have A LOT of fees. Now I know why the teachers werent signing up with them or promoting them when I got hired. You still have to get a Visa with them or be over 60 or a student to get free checking. That means they do not have free checking for the majority of customers.

Shes definitely a leader for a reason and went way above and beyond to explain the checking account I recently opened up and has planned for me to come in on another day to give me a more personalized experience since I was a walk-in and the branch at the Antioch office off of Somersville Rd was very busy. I know most enjoy giving negative feedback since customers who typically walk out happy dont think they need to write any type of review but the attention and customer service I was given at that branch, not only from Evelyn, but even the tellers was something that made me feel so welcome and excited to be a new customer of Bank of the West. They were ALL extremely kind and personable and I hope they receive recognition for everything theyve been through the last couple of years. BRAVO to everyone but ESPECIALLY Evelyn Ponce!

mansa shaka: 1 star for good customer service 1 star for the ability to pay cash -3 stars: If you pay cash money for a monthly insurance plan than you will have to pay a 33% charge for the privilege to pay in that way. While its in the fine print Id have preferred to have been explained this upfront rather than be lied to my face. Only to be explained the truth after a bit of calling around. The work around to this is to pay in cash for a years worth of insurance to circumnavigate the added charges.

Jessie Smith: No matter what branch you go to San Leandro Antioch Alameda or Oakland its ALWAYSSSSSS about 4 or 5 tellers 4 of them are walking around and 1 person is on the window 5 or 6 customers in line they are really pleasant thats the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars. This is why I only have an savings account here I can imagine how it would be if I had a banking account.
