Stephanie Yeh Stella and Paco run this wonderful hair salon. Both are skilled at delivering stylish haircuts. I have gone to Stella several times to cut my long hair for Locks of Love and similar organizations. Stella carefully separated my hair into several ponytails so the cut would maximize the amount of hair I donate. Neither Paco nor Stella are shy about making suggestions, especially when a style I choose wont work for my thick heavy hair. Best of all, a person can get a great haircut from either Stella or Paco. Most days you can walk in and get a cut with little wait. If you show up at around 4:30, both Paco and Stella are present so the wait is even shorter! My whole family gets haircuts here. We love em!

Ap One of the best barber experiences i have had. Highly personable and skilled barber Paco did a fantastic job. You can tell that styling is more tham just a job for him, its a passion!

Cody Romeo Lady was nice and gave me a decent fade but I specifically stated I wanted nothing off of the top or that back and I was growing it out. Long story short she did a fade on the back of my head setting back my hair growth goal like 2 inches. She was sorry and at the end of the day it’s not the end of the world but nonetheless it was frustrating

Tianna Konopasek It was a great experience!! It was a little shorter than what I originally wanted so I was in shock at 1st but its growing on me. I love it!! It looks great on me. I needed something new and spicy in my life and thats exactly what I got!! Im here for it. My hair was REALLY long and its so high maintenance. I look forward to it being easy to manage, brush out, and style it. Luckily it grows REALLY fast as well

essay Although the stylist was obviously skilled, I asked her poignantly not to cut my hair too short. The previous haircut I received cut it was way too short and took me 3 months to grow out (2 months to get back to acceptable), so I said I didnt want it too short again. But thats exactly what she did. My hair is so short it wont even lay down. Itll take me months to grow out again.

L The worst nail salon in Ukiah for sure I had apt and the owner told me she wouldn’t do my nails because I had wrote a bad review even tho I have gone there before and never have wrote a review about any business in town as I am a business owner my self and support locally. She proceeded to make a scene In front of other customers and take me in the back and tell me how rude I was even after I showed her my google and yelp account. This was the most unprofessional thing as a fellow business owner and I would never suggest anyone to go here. So now that’s my honest review. She is beyond rude and disrespectful.

Jessica Smith Im not one to get nails done very often. MAYBE once a year. I decided to do some self care and came here with my friend. I showed them what I was thinking and they did it perfectly! She was patient and very sweet and really took her time to get the details just right. Im so impressed with this salon and will definitely return. :)

Paul Gonzales Here from out of town, needed a hair cut and was recommended by a guy here at the front desk at the Best Western. I forgot all about it as I was looking for a opened barber shop on the week end and thats when I remembered.... I was thankful to find them open and my barber Melina was Awesome! Really cool, down to earth which made it that much better on top of a "GOOD HAIRCUT"! Very pleased with the service here.. Thanks!

Mariko Tso Shim is a wonderful hair stylist. She does my haircut and highlights always. She is very cheerful lady. She knows her job, she listens and does neatly! Also she doesn’t change much.

Donna Sullivan Lisa does a good job of cutting, styling & highlighting my thick hair. Toppers interior is pleasantly decorated & has a large floor space. The staff are pleasant & helpful. During Covid 19 everything is done by appointment & they do a great job during this stressful time for businesses.

Tina Turner Loretta did a fantastic job fixing a terrible "Bob" cut. I went to another salon (beauty school) and asked for a layered Bob. What I got looked like Lord Farquad from Shrek. Loretta spent to time going over pictures and ideas and we were definitely on the same page. She did a great job and I left with clean lines and a sophisticated layered Bob. Loretta also gave me a great conditioning treatment and advised products to help me with thinning hair from meditation. Clean salon, inviting, decorated for the season. Large comfortable space. Free Wifi. Nice waiting area. Products available. Caring service with a smile. Tap, Venmo, cash, credit card/debit accepted. Why book with anyone else?

Shimmy shimmy Coco pop Angie is THE BEST. I’ve been going to her for years and she is the only person I would/will let cut myself or my daughters (super thick) hair. She is patient and thorough. She makes sure you are 100% happy with your hair before you leave. I recommend her to anyone and everyone. She’s so down to earth and professional. Her salon is clean and homey. Best hairstylist ever!

Anne Hammond Angie is the best hairapist ever! I always feel like a million bucks when I leave because she always makes my hair look grown up but cool. I always feel pampered when I am at Roots. Angie is also an amazing person in addition to being a terrific stylist.

Brianna Dorner My second visit was super disappointing. I didnt get the shade of blonde i wanted and my mohawk is so uneven i cant spike it properly. Lady pretty much stayed on the phone most of the time. Way too expensive for half done job. At least the bleach is even.
