jessica garcia I told the lady to cut it a specific length but she left the back longer than the front after I explained to her many times. She had to do redo it about 2 times because it wasn’t the length that i wanted and after I left I still wasn’t satisfied with my haircut. Never going back.

She makes the whole process quick, comfortable, and as painless as possible. She’s super professional, friendly, and always makes sure I leave happy with the results. If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and makes you feel at ease, I highly recommend her!

Merlouine Golez I recently visited A & A Artistry Studio for a Brazilian wax, and it was, without a doubt, the most painless experience Ive ever had! The place was exceptionally clean, with a calming ambiance that put me at ease the moment I walked in. Andrea was welcoming and ensured that I felt comfortable throughout my appointment. She was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and took her time to explain the process while making sure I was comfortable. Her technique was gentle yet efficient, which made the whole process surprisingly quick and pain-free. I was impressed by the high-quality wax used during the session. They used a special sugar wax that felt gentle on the skin, which made a significant difference. I left feeling rejuvenated and satisfied. I can confidently say that this was the best Brazilian wax Ive ever had in Antioch. I highly recommend A & A Artistry Studio for anyone looking for a painless waxing experience! I’ll definitely be returning for my next wax and encouraging friends to try it as well. If youre nervous about waxing, this is the place to go! 5/5 stars! ✨ ❤️

Brigitte Hornstein I was looking for help with my 8 year old daughter’s hair while she is at her dad’s. Girl moms know the struggle. I had the idea of having my daughter’s hair braided to protect it. Shawanna was so patient, kind and helpful with all my questions. She walked my daughter and I through how to take care of the braids at home. My daughter absolutely lovesssssss her hair! We have been stopped by so many people and given compliments. My daughter is beaming and so proud of her hair . Would highly recommend!

nyjeri whipps If I could give Shawana 10 stars I would! My daughter and I had such an amazing experience getting my daughters makeup done for homecoming here. Shawana was on time, so pleasant and thoughtful and she asked lots of questions along the the way to make sure she was capturing my daughters request correctly. She also checked in with me as Mom to make sure that what she was doing was also okay with me. It was a very collaborative process which I appreciated. And the results were amazing. We got the mini glam package, but I dont even know what the full glam package would involve because what we thought this was plenty glamorous!! I could go on and on about Shawana, but the pictures make the point better than I can. I will definitely be back, my best friend wants to bring her daughter for prom, and us Moms want to come back and get our make-up done for a night out on the town with our hubbies. The prices are very reasonable and the results superb. Check out the pics! We love Beauty by Brown!

Ashley Slaughter Great service amazing conversation and most importantly lasting hairstyle I wasn’t able to take a picture when it was first finish I was too busy worrying about Having fun in Las Vegas but this picture was taking a week after my hair was style and honey my I say more then well worth it I initially only got the style for the weekend but it lasted two weeks I probably could’ve left it in longer but trying to be on time with two week washes in deep conditioning definitely returning deathly recommend

Sally R. Tori (one of the co-owners) has been my stylist for a few years, and I can’t say enough about her. She is kind and courteous, and friendly yet professional. She does a great job, and she works quickly. What took 4 hours at previous salons only takes 2 hours with Tori. I have sensitive skin, and the super nice Davines products they use don’t irritate my skin at all which is SO nice! I highly recommend Tori at Olive and Sage if you want great hair, a comfortable and low-key atmosphere, and a stylist who listens to what you want and definitely delivers. Thanks, Tori, for always making my hair dreams come true!

local resident Shannon is a Saint, I have hair loss and she does an amazing job with everything, so patient and researching new ways to maximize extensions with minimal damage. Grateful for all her years of taking care of me. I dont get my nails done but I do know no one better than Lisa, both Shannon and Lisa have faithful huge client following for their care and expertise.

Marian Tamayo Jeff is very creative and listens to what you want with your hair. He is very experienced. Hes been cutting my hair for about 3 years now and I love my hair every time he does it. I highly recommend him.

Andy Perry Jeff first cut my hair in his first shop in Campbell, California in 1992. I remember having to wait 3 months for the appointment but I heard it would be worth it. Back then, I worked for a high tech company in Silicon Valley and asked a couple of the women who had the best cuts who did their hair, anf coincidentally, both of them said, "Jeff Pavon" (Guys - if you ever want to find a good stylist, ask the women with the best hair.) Though I dont color my hair, both of them said that he had an incredible talent for color. For many years, we both lived in the Bay Area and there was never a question of who cut my hair. I recall at the beginning of every year, he would set me up with appointments throughout the year and he was already booked for the holidays. Over the years where either he moved away or I moved away and I had to go to someone else, Jeffs cut was the one that forever set the bar. I travel quite a bit now and know that when Im going to be in the Bay Area, Im fortunate if Jeff can squeeze me in.

Debbie Fabrizi I have been enjoying Nikki’s creativity for a couple of years. I am one of those clients who knows what she likes but may not know how to explain it. Sometimes what I like may not work with my hair type or for my skin tone. We talk about all of the options and Nikki always explains it back to me to let me know she understands and I am always pleased and love my color, cut and style that she she creates! Even my husband notices and compliments how great my hair looks! I always look forward to seeing Nikki!

Rachelle Baello Ive been in search for a more local stylist that does cut/color and Nikki made that transition so smooth! The communication and rapport is awesome. Gloria Dials This Beauty Supply is the Best Ive been to in Contra Costa County. The owner, Mr. Kim and entire staff are very nice/pleasant, professional and friendly. They are very attentive to your needs, helpful. The prices are reasonable and they have excellent quality merchandise. I absolutely love this Beauty Supply.♥️ On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best of course, Id give this Beauty Supply 50, hands down. If youre looking for an Awesome Beauty Supply, look no further. This is my go to Beauty Supply, I highly recommend them.

Brianna The store is pretty well stocked, but the owner treats everyone as a thief and watches you shop like a hawk, which makes for a VERY uncomfortable and rushed shopping experience. Maybe he should invest in an anti-theft system so he can relax.

Tattz Tattz Please change your hours from closing at 630pm to 620pm. I arrived at 622pm and the worker is stopping people at the door saying they are closed. Just go to the beauty supply in foodsco parking lot. Honest business there

Ana Walker Conchita is the sweetest person. You will ever meet. She listened to what I wanted and explained her concerns and suggestions. My hair is gorgeous if I may say so. She did my highlights and cut. I brought my daughters in as well and she did phenomenal job with lil kids. Salon is super cute and clean. Highly recommended!!!

Amber Hines Was able to get a same day appointment for a haircut and they did a great job and at a great price! Grace did my hair and she listened to everything I asked for and she styled my hair beautifully. She made sure not to cut the length too short as I was nervous, and then she recommended to take another inch off AFTER she showed me the full cut and I was appreciative of that as many stylist are quick to chop and you cant put hair back on once its gone!! Grace was on point and my hair looks so great. I will definitely be back in the future!

Rayy Conchita is amazing! Shes been doing my hair for about 10 years now. My sister reccomend her from when she was at Latinos back in the day. She is incredibly gifted. She fixed my horrible box dye I did to myself. I knew better, but I went against my intuition and did the box. After making my huge mistake, I called Conchita, and she got me in as soon as possible. She fixed my hair! I absolutely love coming to her. She is so kind and knows exactly what I want done. I always get compliments on my hair, and I always refer people to her. She does an amazing job. I dont know why some "Karens" want to complain. She has yet to fail me in the 10 years Ive been going to her. Thank you, Conchita and Christy, for fixing me! You ladies are the best!

Taryn Colao I have gone to HB Collective for the past year for haircuts and highlights/balayage and every time I walk in, I have a great experience. Every stylist is extremely friendly and welcoming. The salon is very clean with a modern and cozy atmosphere. Nikki is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. She always helps me talk out how I want my hair to look or advise on would look best for me. I love booking my next appointment with her before I leave so I keep my hair healthy. Every time I leave, I love how my hair looks and always get the best compliments! Brenda McCallion It was an appointment unscheduled for a last minute wedding spray tan. Nikki, was so gracious to allow me to come to her home late at night so I could get a spray tan. It was perfect, she made me feel comfortable and my tan turned out perfect! Highly recommend her. She’s professional, polite and happy to help!

Ale E. Aisha is the only person Ive felt comfortable & safe with my hair for the past like 10 years! I recently went from Blonde (after like 15 years!) back to Brunette & she helped with the transition & Im loving it! :) she added some face-framing highlights & they look great. Ive received compliments on my hair since. Most importantly, she understands I want to improve the overall health of my hair after blonding for so many years & she always works with great products to limit/ avoid damaging my hair & help improve it. Lauren Conder I love getting my hair done at Rake Salon. The theme of the salon is cozy and everyone in the salon is highly trained. You will get honest opinions at Rake! I have been seeing Shirley for years and she is a pro!! Rake fits perfectly in downtown Brentwood. I won’t even look at going anywhere else. Also, they have/sell the Davines products which are outstanding.

Cleo 286 Unprofessional, rude and lack of costumer service. My cousin told me she went there and they told her they couldnt do her hair coz its black hair and the color ash blonde wouldnt pop out the way she would want it and said even if we asked other salons they would say the same. Guess what other salons said they can do it and we asked. If i could give zero star for them letting her wait while i baby sat my niece i would. They made her wait for almost an hour and then told her they cant do her hair. If your too damn lazy to mix colors dont go to work. Dont do your hair here if your a person with color as well.

Camille Reynolds Rake is truly the best salon! The stylist are not only great people, they are extremely talented. The salon decor is perfection and they have all the best goodies (tea, snacks, etc). Downtown Brentwood is such a vibe and Rake fits right in.

mylene depinto This review is long overdue. My first consultation with Sam was in April ( 8 months ago). I developed severe allergic reaction to a shampoo & hair color. I started losing my hair with scalp itchiness, redness, alopecia, etc. It was frustrating & honestly, depressing. Sam “diagnosed” my condition, recommended I changed my shampoo, hair products. It worked! I have unbelievably so much hair growth now! Since we were having a family wedding at that time, she suggested I should try extensions. I don’t think I’ve known anyone who took excellent care of my hair than Sam. She is the best of the best in my book. Sam has my lifelong loyalty, gratitude & appreciation. Can’t thank you enough, Sam!!

Ariana R. Called to set up a hair dye appointment and set it up for said date and time. Pulled up to the place, and it was closed even though we agreed to have my appointment on this date and time, but they were closed. Called them, but they didnt answer, so I left a voicemail with my phone number to ask if were still on for the appointment, but they never called me back. I got stood up, and they didnt bother calling me back. I felt like they didnt want to do my hair and the lady who set up my appointment sounded like I was bothering her, I felt like she didnt want to do my hair but she didnt want to say anything. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. Wont be bothering coming here again
