5 /5 Brigitte Hornstein: I was looking for help with my 8 year old daughter’s hair while she is at her dad’s. Girl moms know the struggle. I had the idea of having my daughter’s hair braided to protect it. Shawanna was so patient, kind and helpful with all my questions. She walked my daughter and I through how to take care of the braids at home. My daughter absolutely lovesssssss her hair! We have been stopped by so many people and given compliments. My daughter is beaming and so proud of her hair . Would highly recommend!

5 /5 nyjeri whipps: If I could give Shawana 10 stars I would! My daughter and I had such an amazing experience getting my daughters makeup done for homecoming here. Shawana was on time, so pleasant and thoughtful and she asked lots of questions along the the way to make sure she was capturing my daughters request correctly. She also checked in with me as Mom to make sure that what she was doing was also okay with me. It was a very collaborative process which I appreciated. And the results were amazing. We got the mini glam package, but I dont even know what the full glam package would involve because what we thought this was plenty glamorous!! I could go on and on about Shawana, but the pictures make the point better than I can. I will definitely be back, my best friend wants to bring her daughter for prom, and us Moms want to come back and get our make-up done for a night out on the town with our hubbies. The prices are very reasonable and the results superb. Check out the pics! We love Beauty by Brown!

5 /5 Ashley Slaughter: Great service amazing conversation and most importantly lasting hairstyle I wasn’t able to take a picture when it was first finish I was too busy worrying about Having fun in Las Vegas but this picture was taking a week after my hair was style and honey my I say more then well worth it I initially only got the style for the weekend but it lasted two weeks I probably could’ve left it in longer but trying to be on time with two week washes in deep conditioning definitely returning deathly recommend

Lola Soap Facial Spa Monterey - Monterey Donna Koepsell: I cant believe the difference in the before and after using the LED machine and Introstem product. I cant quit looking in the mirror. And Rice was so knowledgable in skin care so nice. Looking forward to going out tonight. Unbelievable but it works. If your in Monterey, make sure to stop and ask for Rice and see the difference for yourself.

The Beauty Room - Salinas Roxy Donat: Rachel is amazing! She has always provided the service I requested without trying to talk me into eyelash extensions which are her specialty. Her pricing is fair and reasonable. Her studio is clean and comfortable. Rachel is also a great conversationalist and I wont go anywhere else for my lash lift. By the way, she is also great at facials!
Beauty Extreme Salon - Salinas Julio Castro: I have been going to this place for over a decade, i show up and ask anyone to cut my hair even if my favorite stylists are not in. Even as prices have risen over the years, still a good value cut. I have longer hair and trust these stylists to shape the long hair while giving a fresh tapered look. Most barbers in this area can give you a nice taper but cant work the longer hair styles.
