Bryan Cuevas Kevin gave me a great haircut. Had to deal with my long hair from 4 years of not having a haircut, and he gave me a great haircut that makes me look real handsome! The before and after is real striking! From front to back it looks real great and a lot cleaner.

Meaghan Furey I was looking for a salon close to home with good reviews and it led me to TRND Salon. I did not know who to book with so I chose Jennifer blindly and I am so glad that I did. When I walked in Phuong was very welcoming, and the salon is beautiful and clean. They have water and coffee if you want while you wait, but I did not have to wait long. It has been a year or so since I cut my hair and I have been box dying it for the past 7 to 8 months. Jennifer was amazing and my color and cut are exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend this salon!

Quyen French Jessie was so kind and did a great job cutting my hair! I have thick, coarse hair that can be hard to work with, but she really took her time and paid attention to detail. Highly recommend getting hair cuts by Jessie!

She knows exactly what to do and she’s amazing at what she does she’s a pro and has been doing this forever. I only trust her with my hair and I’m always happy to see her as if I’m seeing a family member and she’s always sweet and makes you feel more than welcome. You won’t regret going to her salon just remember to request Teresa! (She’s currently not at this location anymore she’s at Nail Sensations in Tully/Capitol)

Jan L This place is great. Lisa is kind and easy to talk to. She doesn’t rush doing your hair, and she listens to what you want. The prices are extremely competitive for the area. Please note that her cuts come with a wash and blow dry! I think she’s been here for 15 years or so, and I can definitely see why she has so many regular customers.

Jennifer Chesley So my daughter and I have been going here for two years now. I will say that this place is not cheap, but we keep coming back because we always leave there more than satisfied with the result! We have had hair cuts, my daughter has had her hair colored, even my husband who REFUSES to let anyone touch his hair goes here for haircuts and always leaves very happy. My daughters hair color and cut with style was $100 and I always leave a nice tip. The girls here are so kind, very professional, very clean, friendly, and do such great work! I wish I could afford to go here more to be honest! I highly recommend this place!!!

Nikita Donti I am very picky about my hair and I find it hard to trust most salons because I never walk out happy. Not with Cindy though… she is very skilled! Elizabeth Costa Cindy was absolutely excellent! I texted her in the morning to ask for a haircut at her earliest convenience and she fit me just a few hours later. I showed her a few inspiration photos, and she gave me the perfect low maintenance haircut! Its been a little over a month since my cut and it is growing out so nicely. She was very affordable for such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be returning to Cindy!

Neha Gupta I had an amazing haircut done by Cindy. I am very picky and have had bad cuts in the past so I was really happy when a friend recommended Cindy. I showed her 2 photos and she knew exactly what to do. She is like an artist and has a great eye for length, layers and blending. I have straight hair and was so scared of a choppy cut but she did an amazing job blending and making it look so smooth. Plus, she taught me how to blow dry my hair to emphasize the shape. I don’t want to go to any other salon!! Cindy is the best and prices are very reasonable.

Divya Sethi I booked a 70 minutes LED facial with Lynn. Shes very courteous and her studio is very clean and beautiful. The salon is located right next to Bills Cafe. She will provide you code to enter when you book the appointment with her. Coming to the service, it started with cleansing, steaming, extractions, light massage and face pack in the end but the equipments she used during the facial were amazing! Of course, your skin might swell a bit after facial but itll settle down in a day or two. I love that Lynn pays attention to detail and made my experience relaxing. The pricing is reasonable too for the service provided. I would highly recommend her and will definitely book my next session with her soon. :)

James Han Lynn was fantastic. My first time ever visiting a professional shop to remove a skin tag on my face. She was very prompt with scheduling and went above and beyond to take good care of my needs. Very thorough with her explanation prior to procedure and she also made sure that my post care plans are met by providing me all of the supplies for a speedy recovery. My skin tag is completely gone now and I would go back for more services if I had to in the future.

Paula Holland What a gem this place is! I went to a couple of other hair supplies in the area and was less than impressed with their selection and underwhelmed by the sub-standard customer service. Kim at Nefertiti was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Her selection of hair and hair care products was huge. She was very helpful and guided me to choose the right type and color of twists for mu upcoming appointment. I highly recommend you make Nefertiti your supply of choice as I have!

Octavia Jackson Went and not only was able to purchase hair from the beauty supply I was able to set an appointment with Zahara for the very next day which was a last-minute appointment for my birthday and she got me in and got me out. Looking good smelling good feeling good I will be returning they are a bit on the expensive side. but if you calculate the drive all the way to Oakland or San Francisco where theres more urban hair supplies the gas is going to take you to get there and the snacks and food or whatever else is going to take you to get there while youre there it will cost you the same amount just to go ahead and buy it right here from Nefertitis. and you will be putting the money into a black on business as well as back into Santa Clara county and until our community. There are a few more hair stylists there that do just braids and some of them do makeup so you can look them up on Booksy or go down to the shop off of McKee and capital in San Jose and just give them a look around over their things and just talk to somebody Miss Kim is very nice she was so nice and so helpful and so patient.

Tomiko Oskotsky A hidden gem - nestled in San Jose on Bascom Avenue is Tiffany Beauty Salon. Tiffany has been cutting my hair for several years. She is punctual, meticulous, and cuts my lifeless hair into a beautiful bob every time. It always looks wonderful right after she cuts and styles it, of course. The truly amazing thing is how great my hair looks for weeks afterward despite how little I do with it ( I am pretty lazy with my hair - I wash it, but dont blow dry, dont use any product, nor do anything to style it), and yet continually receive compliments on my hair. I attribute this to Tiffanys haircut skills. Currently, with the pandemic, a lot of us worry appropriately about our health and safety. I am thrilled to see all the measures that Tiffany has put in place to prevent the spread of COVID (face masks, shields, social distancing, chairs positioned far apart, appointments spaced out so no one is waiting inside the salon, front and back doors kept open, forms to fill out before entering, temperature checks). Excellent customer service, fabulous haircuts, safe environment - all of this and her services remain very, very reasonable. Thank you so much Tiffany!

Anh Phùng I saw Andrea’s beautiful work on a San Jose based colleague of mine. This colleague messaged Andrea and I was able to see her as soon as possible even though I arrived less than one hour before closing. Andrea was sweet, warm, and accommodating. She was very savvy and perceptive in helping me change up my hair while still maintaining my style. I really love my new haircut. I’d like to add that I’m a former New Yorker who’s had her cut and styled by hairdressers whose work has appeared in prestigious editorials (think Elle, V, etc.). Andrea’s work was on par, if not better than some of these stylists and for a fraction of the cost as well. If you live or are visiting in the SJ area, give Andrea or the other lovely stylists a visit. Andrea will definitely become my goto when I’m in the area.

Meredith Williams I cannot recommend this place enough! Theyre fantastic. Berta rescued my color from a bad home dye job when I first moved to CA almost two years ago and its looked amazing growing out ever since. In the intervening time, Ive been getting consistently terrific cuts from here, and Ive gotten my husband hooked on Amys handiwork for his own haircuts. Prices are reasonable, vibe is great and the quality is the best -- and I say this as a former habitue of high end salons in NYC and Boston.

darcy dang I LOVE cindy! I have been going to her for about 4-5 years and she never fails. She has always been able to get me to the perfect color and exceeds my expectations. She is truly the best in SJ. Cindy is kind, approachable and very friendly. What I love most about her is how she genuinely cares about the health of my hair. She takes her time with her work and always give her expertise advice on maintaining my hair. Cindy also has an amazing team working with her. I look forward to continue booking with her :)

Michelle Edwards Easily the best quality, most affordable, and professional salon that I’ve seen for going blonde, and I had my time trying different salons through highschool and college. I took a break from blonde for a little and decided to go back and found Ivory Salon, who responded promptly and managed to get me booked on schedule in less than 24 hours (the morning after calling!) I was paired with Joy who managed to turn my natural brunette hair into an ash blonde that I didn’t know could be achieved in one session. I’m shocked and so grateful. Joy has a warm energy and is extremely kind. She listened intent-fully and asked thoughtful questions, and I appreciated the focus she had on my hair throughout the project. The other stylists around were also very nice in assisting her throughout the project, what a team! Highly recommend this salon for both price and quality. I LOVE my hair.

Genesia Oliver I found Ruby’s salon by happenstance on Google and she was conveniently located right across the street from our residency. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the cleanliness and aroma circulating throughout her salon. Ruby was extremely friendly and made my 11-year old daughter feel so comfortable during her first threading appointment. It was quick & painless, but the results were astounding! We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend her services, as she is passionate about her clients and skilled in a wide range of things! I am looking forward to booking a facial with her next week and will leave another review based on my experience.

Disha Vinod Ive been going to Ruby for her services for over 12+ years now. Her sense of professionalism, researching to improvise on her beauty products, always seeing the positive side of things, is admirable. Ruby is very organized while she swiftly renders her services. Her henna is not only a natural replacement to hair color but nourishes the scalp and gives hair a luscious, healthy shine too. Her mix of ingredients in henna have proven to be very nourishing for my hair, so much so that I miss this natural supplement every time I travel out of country even to India. I strongly recommend to use her henna to improve your quality of hair and color, naturally !

Virginia Chavez I started going to paulina in October of 2023 after a devastating divorce. I came in to feel better about myself in a rough time, and I am so grateful I did. I always receive the best care and customer service every time I stop by. I initially came to paulina with babylights and she was able to transition me to plantmum blond in multiple sessions per her advice. When I first came to her my hair was very dry and was not in the best condition, but she educated me on what products to use and helped me get my hair to a strong healthy state for being bleached. Her mother Rocio has also done work on my hair and I always love when she is around in the salon. Rocio is the sweetest, and makes the energy very warm and loving. I never dread my hair appointments because I always have a great time catching up with them. The salon is very clean and cozy. Paulina and I have done so many different things with my hair and tried lots of different colors, but the best part is she treats my hair with so much care that my hair quality is better than what I came with. Ive moved to south San Francisco and I still drive to paulina for my appointments. I am so grateful to have found such a fun and caring hairstylist who has the knowledge to educate me on how to care for my hair. Thank you so much paulina and Rocio I love you guys !

This was my first haircut in 2-3 years since my main hairstylist from los gatos moved away, and I decided to go to this salon judging on the reviews and photos. I’m so happy to say that this place exceeded my expectations!! Dare I say better than all my past haircuts! Rocio knew exactly what haircut to frame my face and make me look like a completely different person, and Paulina did my tinsels so beautifully I’m obsessed! It was a first and they both made it such a welcoming and positive experience. Thank you both!!

Monique Jimenez I am deeply disappointed with the outcome of my hair transformation. Despite having visited this salon before, I was eager to address my growing gray hair. I scheduled a consultation with Daisy, providing her with reference images of my desired hairstyle. While I was cognizant that the final result may not be an exact replica of my vision, I was surprised by the significant deviation from my expectations. this review was emotionally challenging, as I had believed Daisy had a clear understanding of the assignment and my aspirations for this new transformation. However, I am profoundly disappointed with the final outcome of my hair transformation. Specifically, I had requested that a money piece be positioned on top of my hair and flow through the bottom, as illustrated in the picture I shared with her. After the hair was completed, I noticed that the top of my hair was gray, while the bottom and sides were significantly different. They did not blend well and were patchy, which did not look good after she blow-dried my hair. I asked her if there was a way to salvage the situation and try to blend the two strands to match the color of my bleached hair. Oh forgot the best part,, my appointment was at 9 a.m., and she had texted me that she would be running late. She arrived around 9:40 a.m. and immediately began working. When we discussed how to blend the two strands to match the color of my bleached hair, I felt that she was not fully committed to helping me. Instead, she seemed more concerned with prioritizing her next client. I was slightly irritated and uncomfortable because I was on time for my appointment, and I know that as a professional hairstylist, she would inform her next client that she was running late. Consider that her client was sitting directly next to us while we were having this conversation, making it even more uncomfortable. When I informed her that the hair was not blended properly and that the top and bottom did not match, she attempted to explain that she did not like to do the toners and that it would be better to do the bleach melt, which I was unfamiliar with. my hair look like a hot mess at this point, I felt that as the hairstylist, she should be more knowledgeable about the best approach, I am not trying to leave the salon with patchy, uneven tones of bleach-dyed hair. I simply felt that the entire situation could have been significantly improved and more professional. My facial expression showed my dissatisfaction. She then suggested a few alternative solutions, and I agreed to the expedited route. However, I felt rushed because she was prioritizing her other client’s needs . Our conversation was overheard by others, which made me feel MORE uncomfortable and embarrassed. I simply wanted to leave the salon ASAP. I payed $255 for this !!! I was left with no choice but to accept the alternative fast route, which I felt rushed and inadequate. I had hoped that she would have made an effort to rectify the situation. Overall, it was a big letdown. I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the results and how it made me feel. 15 mins after I left, I text her stating how sad and upset I am with my hair. NO REPLY , NO RESPONSE . This is why I am here today making this uncomfortable review that I did not want to do. I wanted to make sure that no one else goes through what I went through. Towards the end of everything, Daisy was so unprofessional . Being late, she didn’t achieve what I consulted with her. I felt rushed, reached out to her to discuss this matter and no reply, the lack of professionalism. This was my gift for Mother’s Day from my husband and this is what I ended up getting

Cansu I was here on Saturday to get a fill, and my nails started lifting and chipping by Monday. I was disappointed but however the staff was very friendly so I wanted to give them another chance. I was delighted by Michele who redid my WHOLE set and she didn’t accept any gratuity. I will definitely be back here and request Michele. Note: they have very reasonable pricing.

Caitlyn Pecsok i asked for a french tip, with a yin and yang ring finger design. she was sloppy with applying the powder acrylic, and my nails started popping off after 3 days. she eventually stopped asking for the picture and just did what she pleased. she drilled the circle into my nails, she didn’t use white color. i will not be coming again.

bee dia Since express hair accross the street closed. My whole family come here now since Tony had to move here from the other salon. I get my nails while my husband and kids get their hair cuts. Its very convenient for us. They get their stuff done while I get mine at the same time. I usually get the gel manicure.

Jennifer I had my first appt w/Roberto 2 months ago. He did a highlight and cut. The color was beautiful and still looks great. (Im blonde) I returned today to have him cut additional layers which Im very happy with. Ill be returning in a couple months for another highlight. He definitely knows what hes doing!

Ruchi Pragyan Dash I visited this salon few weeks back for a face waxing service. Unfortunately, the technician applied the wax at an excessively high temperature, causing severe burns on my cheeks. Despite my discomfort, the technician seemed unconcerned. The salons lack of attention to customer safety and satisfaction is alarming. I would advise others to exercise caution when considering this salon.

Kayleigh Watters Ive been going to Izzy for almost two years now, and I honestly cant imagine going anywhere else! Every time I leave, my nails look amazing—I get compliments all the time. The salon itself is super clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Izzy is incredibly friendly and talented—she always makes me feel welcome and does such a beautiful job. Carisma Kan I’ve been to Izzy twice, once for a russian manicure & once for a poly gel pedicure, & both experiences were amazing! Her salon is beautiful & she always makes me feel welcome with refreshments. I also love that she offers her iPad so I can watch netflix during my appointment.
