SIMGE ACAR Before the procedure, he tried to scrape off the nail polish on my hand with a rotary tool instead of doing a manicure. As he pressed it with his thick-headed tool, it made my nail bleed. When I told him it hurt, he said I was as sensitive as a baby. The man standing next to the cash register did my nails. I dont know if the others are the same, but the result of the person who did my nails is obvious. As a generally look good but some details need to improve $55

Lauren SoldierOfLove this place is great! they took me in last minute no problem. i asked for a very personalized hand drawn art work and was expecting for them to say "no" or persuade me to do something modified like i have experienced at other salons. I would have been fine with that as i know i was asking for something very specific and without appointment. however, right away they made me feel welcomed and that "whatever you want we can do" is literally this salons promise. I was tended to quickly and they respected my request to avoid wetting/scrubbing area by a new tattoo. My pedicure as well as full set of "gel-x" nails was a very relaxing experience. I even forgot about the current days worries while getting lost in a nature show on their big screen tvs. I apologize, but i didnt get the name of the gentleman that did my nails or the woman that did my pedicure, but they both were very friendly as well as talented. I stuck with plain for my pedicure gel color black since my nails were going to be more detailed. I love howmy pedicure turned out and the leg massage was nice:) Thank you! The gentleman that did my Gel-X nails and the design new exactly what colors to choose from the photo i provided. It took the stress off of me trying to figure it out on my own, so i appreciated this a lot :). The design i showed was pretty detailed, so i wanted to emphasize to him it didnt have to be exact-just an idea of what i wanted. To my amazement i think he did such an amazing work of art. it looks identical to what i asked. Thank you so much again Mandala Nail Spa! I am looking forward to returning.

Lupita O This was my first time coming here. I got acrylics and a pedicure with 3 acrylic nails on my toes. I really liked my acrylic nails. The guy who did them worked very fast . The only thing I didnt like was that 2 days later one of the acrylic on my toenail fell. Which is very disappointing because of the money I spent on them.

Valarie Armstrong I love this place! I’m always in and out with a smile. Mimi, takes her time and actually listens to what you want . Today I received a full set with chrome on top of acrylic only (no color). I have large nail beds and that can be difficult to create and shape for a natural look. But, Mimi has yet to disappoint and I’m a forever customer.

Elnie Camique It’s my second time going here and both experiences were great! Steven convinced me to do an acrylic overlay and it lasted an entire month with no breakages. My nails felt so strong! Mimi did my second set. She was efficient and her design application was effortless. I also got a pedi but didn’t catch gal’s name; she did a great job too!

Sandy Castaneda Three weeks ago I went to get my nails done at this place. I got there first and waited for at least 10 or 15 minutes. A couple then comes in and is seated first then I was. I was disappointed and decided to never go back there again. The girl gave me her number so I can schedule an appointment but my mind was already made up. They could have said something to me instead of staying quiet about it.

Tatiana Palomares Best nail spot in Long Beach. I’ve been going here for over 10 years. They always provide the best service, they are affordable, and my nails always last a long time. I’ve tried other nail salons in the city but AP nails is the best. I’ve gotten acrylics, gel, and dip. They do it all and they do it well.

My eyebrows were a mess and they fixed them. Ive been to fancy places and sometimes they use wax that smells like chocolate or whatever, but that always makes me break it out. Not this time, brows werent bright red and angry. This place isnt close to where I live, but Ill be coming back because of the excellent service

Nova I get my acrylic nails done frequently here. They last two weeks before I need another fill, and without using gel polish, I only have a few chips in my nail polish two weeks, which is impressive because I am at the gym lifting weights every day. Tracy is great with acrylic fills, and Kathy is so sweet and wonderful with pedicures! The prices for the quality you get here is why I dont go anywhere else but here. I only paid $20 for the original set (including regular nail polish, not gel, and no cuticle treatment), and then $14 to fill in and change the color. However, for the first time last week, Tracy did start charging me an extra $2 for trimming my nails with the fill, which I dont appreciate and has never happened before, so be warned. Extra bits: They accept card, including Discover. Parking is free street parking, but their side of the street is usually filled, so I have to park on the opposite side and use the crosswalk.

The owner provides a great customer service, offering water, Vietnamese iced coffee and charm. They also have the cutest kids’ spa chairs for a special occasion. Come here for your biweekly spa day!

Carina Alvarenga I just moved to long Beach recently and have been to a few nail salons that make the nails really thick and ughhh. But here, she really knows how to make them look natural. She is a sweet and funny woman as well. I enjoyed my experience. I also loved that she has different colors and designs on her own nails. It was great to see the cat eye design on her first. JAM JAM Leha is phenomenal. As a new resident of the LBC, I found her in a Google search. Her consistently good reviews are neither fabricated nor exaggerated...shes the real deal! These pics capture my 1st ombre, and is the best manicure Ive ever had. This is my 3rd visit, and my nails have grown so strong and healthy, that she was able to do this flawlessly on my natural nails. Leha is funny, engaging, vivacious, and professional. She gives me the best customer service experience Ive ever had at a nail salon or elsewhere for that matter. I cant wait to go back!

She’s fast ( which I love ) and they come out perfect every time!! Everyone that works there is very nice and offer you something to drink. ruby matiasevich Went in for a simple manicure. The girl was unfriendly… she seemed annoyed that I was even there. Her polish job was horrible and I didn’t even get a massage. I felt I had to tip her because she asked for one. She didn’t even tell me the price of my nails just asked for a tip and my signiture. I will never go back there!!! Horrible service!!

Krishelle Austin Decided to try a new nail shop, since the lady at my old shop doesnt work there anymore. Seen this place had good reviews, but walked out feeling disappointed. The lady doing my feet cleaned my ingrown out very well but that was it. As you can see from the pictures she didnt clean my cuticles very well or under my nails. Theres also polish still on my toes from my last pedicure. She also never showed me the other pedicures they provide, I think she just assumed Id be getting the basic pedicure. Wont be coming here again!

My full set was a different tech and he did amazing! Listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job going off a reference photo I showed him. Miloh Burlon I went around to three other salons to get my nails done, but I realized they couldn’t do the style I wanted so I came here as my last option, and it was my first time here. The atmosphere is very clean and neat, everyone was professional along with them having a wide variety of color to work with. They even do gem design with a lot of the other local salons don’t do. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she did just that! Hands down the best nails I had ever gotten and I’m obsessed with them. I definitely will be coming back as a regular along with having my friends check them out as well

ShaRea Mitchell I used to love it here, but now it is a HOT mess due to new staffing. The new lady that’s in charge of doing your toes (short and kind of on the heavier side) stopped mid pedicure session to argue with her man on the phone. She also skips over certain steps when doing your pedicure. She is also very invasive of your space, touchy, and can make you a bit uncomfortable. Last time I went, they also had one lady there doing multiple full sets so the wait time was terrible and she will also stop mid session to start on another client and then bounce back to you. The nails never look like how I want it, the powder was laid on my nail bed incorrectly so it was very bumpy, and some of my nail didn’t even have the powder on there so small bits of my nail was uncovered. Honorable mention: the lady that did my toes got into it so bad with her boyfriend that she had me take a picture of her doing my toes so she can send it to him….so unprofessional and uncomfortable :(

Morgan M I absolutely love this place, not only because it’s fairly priced, but also because the work done is quality! The two you will always see there is Anthony and Jenny. Anthony always does my pedicure, and Jenny always does my manicure. I am a very picky person and they always allow me to voice my opinion and do their best to accommodate my requests because I’m quite particular about my nails and toenails. They take their time as to be perfect so do not expect a fast nail job. Plus it’s usually only the two of them so relax... They are very kind people and I recommend anyone to go. By the way, YES, they ARE OPEN even though yelp says they are closed.

She was very sweet and checked in several times to make sure I liked what she was doing. I haven’t been here in a few years but I will come back to her! Much appreciated V, I’m impressed!

V J (mmmmorepudding) This was my first time at this salon, and I was definitely super satisfied with my visit! I came in to get acrylic fills done after an un-fun visit to another salon. The staff here was super awesome. Emma was my nail tech, and she was amazing! She was very helpful when picking out colors and making sure everything turned out the way I imagined. She was very meticulous when it came to shaping the acrylics and making sure everything was perfect before moving on to next steps. She made sure to stop and have me look at everything to make sure it was how I wanted it. It made me really confident that the finished result was going to be perfect! While this is not the cheapest place Ive ever had my nails done (my particular set was $75 for fills (the nails from the previous salon needed major corrections), cats eye polish, and custom accent nails), I can definitely say it was well worth the price. Watching someone practice their ART and getting to wear the results is such a privilege, and I definitely dont mind paying someone WHAT THEY DESERVE to be able to hone their craft and art. I will definitely be returning here!!

Yessenia Mora Cute Spot, very clean. Have gone in a couple times and as many chances as I give something always ends up wrong. First, dont bother making appointment its not respected. Second, got spa pedicure ($26 value) a couple times and yesterday 9/14/17 girl did the most basic pedicure didnt use any sort of separation on my toes when painting them and now I have chipped toes. No cleaning of toes nothing. Nails were gorgeous got a bright yellow gel, and realized my nails are full of dents. Not sure if product being used doesnt work or why they end up this way a day after.

Jennifer Miller I have gotten a few pedicures here. The first one was fantastic! They have been worse and worse since then. This last one was horrible. She wouldn’t cut my nails shorter even though I kept asking. And the polish job was HORRIBLE! I’m really disappointed!
