G Sanchez If you think nail salons aren’t for guys, Gaia Nails will change your mind! The moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a cold water and settled into a massaging chair that felt like pure bliss. The relaxing atmosphere—dim lighting, smooth music, and leather seating—made me feel right at home. I opted for their “Organic coffee and cream ,” which included a crisp nail trim and an amazing foot massage. The massage chair added an extra layer of relaxation that made the experience even better. The prices are about the same as a haircut, and if youre looking to treat yourself, this spot is definitely the way to go! Make sure to bring your punch card and cash as they give discount option for cash.

Todgii Eva They told me it will be $55 for my gel set and when it was time to pay she said it was $85. The pricing was misleading and the nail art she did on one single finger was $15 when it was time to pay. She didn’t tell me they charged $15 for a flower on the nail. Never going back there again. First and last time. The finished product was thick and the nail didnt look natural.

The lady that works there said she had no time to do my nails for a fill because she was leaving to pick up her kids after I had called and made an appointment, but then someone else walks in while I’m still there and she sits her down and starts doing her nails!!!! So rude I will never go back!

A H DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PHYSICALLY VIOLATED, TREATED POORLY AND HAVE YOUT TIME WASTED. Typically I get my nails done at a shop in Oakland, but since Ive been in Concord, Id been looking for a new nail shop.I called prior to walking into Citi Nail on Friday just to check the prices for a full set. I found them reasonable for a full set and Gel Polish , so I decided to go in and give them a try. Lisa was my initial nail tech and was very polite at first. I mentioned to her my thumb wasnt straight and said shed fix it. It wasnt until I got home and got a second opinion from my sister that we noticed the thumb nail on my left hand still wasnt straight after she "fixed" it. I called the shop right away to ask if I could get it done over and let them know that I would be in the next day. The man on the phone (owner Lee) said okay come in. I came in Saturday and Lisa began to fix the nail. I explained to her atleast 3 times that the nail would need to be removed since its already molded in acrylic unevenly and cant be fixed by filing. Instead she proceeds to file my nails on both thumbs in too far instead of just redoing my left thumb to match my right. Now making both my nails uneven, stiletto shape as opposed to almond which is what I asked and paid for upon initially getting them done.The man that owns the shop comes over and taps me on my shoulder 3 times pretty hard with the back of his hand(First Physical Violation) than points for me to sit in his chair instead of politely asking me to come over so he can fix it.I found that to be EXTREMELY aggressive and rude. He proceeds to clip down the tip of my nails only removing the tip, not the whole Acrylic. He then adds another tip on my nail then proceeds to put the acrylic over the old acrylic making my nail extremely bulky, like a bubble, causing alot of pressure on my natural nail underneath. As well as them being to long. As I am looking at my nail he then tossed the nail file at me and tells me that I can file them down myself.(Second Physical Violation).I explained why I was unhappy about my service and had asked for a refund. Even telling him he can clip the nails off because I just want my money back.The owner ,Lee proceeds to laugh in my face about the situation, being absurdly rude in front of other customers and tells me how it doesnt work like that and that I cant have my money back. I left the shop in tears, frustrated and traumatized by the treatment Id received. I was never rude, raised my voice or came off with the slightest bit of aggression. All I did was ask for a service THAT I PAID FOR WITH MY HARD EARNED MONEY ,to deserve how Id been treated.(even tipped the first time I came in). I dont see how this place has gotten 4 star ratings or is still even in business. I had to go to another shop to have them cut down, refile and soak my nails in acetone to thin them out because the acrylic was so thick causing pain to my thumb nail which COST ME MORE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If you have a preference on how you want your nails to be and are paying for a service DONT EXPECT THAT FROM CITI NAIL. Its as if asking for what youre paying for is an inconvenience for them to do. If thats the case you shouldnt be in the service industry. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Mercedes Kemp I have never had my nails done before, so I walked in knowing nothing. I didnt even know what I wanted. Andy was amazing. He laid everything out and taught me what I needed to know to make the right choices, and helped guide me where I drew a blank. He was excellent company and we had lots of great conversations and laughs. In the end, I ended up with gorgeous oval nails that felt incredible, and looked even better. I am so grateful and impressed, and I found out when I got home that they even matched my favorite unicorn mug. When Im ready for my touch up, Ill be going back and trusting Andy to work his magic!

Amanda Ybarra I have been going to Mai (Dimension Nails owner) for 10 years now. And for 5 of those years I would come all the way from Sacramento just to have her do my nails . She’s that great . She knows what I like and what I don’t like . If you give her free range on the design she goes all out for you and her prices are reasonable. Her nail salon is always clean, organized and welcoming to come into . I highly recommend making an appointment in a timely matter for her because her shop does get busy with walks in and such. I wish people could be more understanding and patient with her at times when appointments may take just a bit more time than expected. Some things are completely out of her control . I am so happy to have moved back to the Bay Area , I live in Antioch and gladly make the drive to concord to see her for my monthly full set and pedicure . Thanks Mai for always taking care of my beauty needs this past 10 years !

Yesterday went to get my nails done and what a s.... job. Owner asked me if I was happy , I said no (nails looked terrible) All she did was wished me a good day. Do not reccomend this place to anyone. Picture one week later after my nails (gl)were done

It was Sunday & they still serviced me and didn’t make me feel bad about being the last customer! I stopped getting my nails done for a year because of terrible service, but I was happy to be taken care of by MIA & Helen! If Mia is not in charge, she should be!! Ana I got my nails done at the unit here in Concord on Saturday afternoon. It was the first time, I just asked to remove the gel nail I had and do a normal manicure. Without gel or acrylic, the same day at night the nail polish started to come off. I paid $49,45 for nothing, very disappointed with it.

Katherine Mullane went in to get a gel manicure, the polish was applied way to thick and came out lumpy. the women doing my nails also cut my skin when trying to cut my cuticles and i left with my finger gushing blood. after less than a week my nails started lifting and polish peeling off, which pulled up and ruined my natural nails.

Vanessa C Its raining and my kids really wanted to get their nails done. Please dont ask how this comes into their mind. All I know is I needed to find a place that was open at 9:00 in the morning and surprisingly there are not a lot of places open at 9:00 in the morning but this place was and we got there early at 8:55 and they still took us in and this lady patiently trimmed and painted my kids nails with no question or concern. She treated them like VIPs and that they were welcomed and she spoke to them and was just very kind. It was such a good experience that I definitely want to go back to get my own nails done here and I dont even get my nails done. And she only charged me $5!!!!

Tee Breana I will never come back here again. I got my nails done here and they came out really cute! But when I came back to have them removed the lady basically ripped them off. It was extremely painful and she made one of my fingers bleed. She offered to put oil on it and proceeded to grab the clue to try and glue my actual nail back so it wouldn’t bleed anymore. I had to take my hand away and tell her no. I was still charged $15 to go through all of that pain. She didn’t even soak them first, she just cut them down and started ripping them off with a tool.

yaneli balcazar I’ve been going here for over a year now and have always left happy. My acrylics last me a long time even when I worked in a job that required a lot of physical labor. I always get Frenchtips on my acrylics and love them every time. Highly recommend going here.

I was not at all disappointed. On a Wednesday around 4 ish. I would definitely come here again if I’m in the area. P.s I see now, there were only two people reviewing this before me.

Lanise Woods I hadn’t been to high tech nails in Concord over a year. I went today and got a pedicure and asked for white polish. After the service was completed I asked the cost? She said $50! I was shocked and asked for what? She said for the jell. I never asked for the jell. The technician said that’s what I had the last time. That’s a lie. So she assumed that was what I wanted. Mind you, the last time I was there she didn’t do my pedicure nor did I have the jell. She straight up lied to my face. I will never go back there again! Took advantage of her customer and lost a customer…

I’m also shocked by how well done her gels are - they last ages and grow out before they ever show signs of peeling! Very reasonable prices too. I’m so glad Jen is around the corner from my new place! ♥️

ComplicatedLADY by Francesca Jennifer was super nice and my nails look great! Price was reasonable and place was clean. Would definitely recommend coming here. Just be aware they only accept cash, no credit/debit cards. Regular Manicure and Pedicure was $30.

I appreciate how this nail salon provides fingerless gloves during gel manicures, to protect your hands & skin! I called for an appointment around 11:30am on a Tuesday and they were able to take me right away. It started to get busier around 12:15pm during lunch hour. This place is cash only but they also take Zelle. Place is clean and service is friendly.

Alicia Guevara I’ve come here a number of times, this place is amazing. You walk into a completely different environment the staff is sweet and friendly. It’s not as fast pace as other salons. It actually a very relaxing and wonder experience. The pricing is great, the service is better. I would recommend this salon to anyone. Once you try it, you will see what I mean. 10/10 would recommend.

Miles Ros “Nubian Sunflower” I asked for shape and for her just to neaten my eyebrows. These are not crescent shaped. I felt like she wasnt really interested in doing my wax. Yeah theyre neat. But theyre not even. And I explained my eyebrows arent thick so you have to get the wax right. I Know I know she said. Looking at these... she didnt know. Then she asked me if they were ok. Wow. If you think theyre ok... yeah we done here. She did good on my lip and chin tho. They all wear masks. There was no wait and parking is free.

Susan G The "acrylic fill" was done perfectly and the color was applied very professionally! I would have given more stars to this review but my service there was very strange here? I believe only one lady there "Mimi" does acrylic nail fills and color. During this appointment, Mimi was working on my fill then, at one point, she left me to go paint another customers toes. I waited like 10 minutes in chair for her to return. Then she came back to shape my nails and ( after shaping one of my hands) Mimi left me again ( sitting there ) waiting for her to complete my acrylic fill / color. It took longer than 1 hour for her to complete my nail appointment - 1 hour 15 min! Usually 45 minutes @ other local salons. Owner needs to hire additional staff who can do acrylic nail fills, full sets and color in a timely manner - so the customer scheduled nail service isnt interrupted and isnt taking longer than it should normally for an acrylic fill service.

They go the extra mile to take their time, especially when I come in with a new Pinterest design for my nails and they make sure you are pleased with the job. It’s also very clean which is a big plus for me - I love it here and I’ll always keep coming back! The last picture is after 3 weeks, they still look amazing!!
