Denise Hernandez If youre looking for someone who you can trust with your precious skin and beauty needs, Alycia is hands down the person youre looking for. I have gone to her for many different beauty services and most recently I was fortunate enough to experience her fabulous scalp treatment and facial all in one appointment. It was heavenly and the best pampering experience I have received. She is very conscientious and passionate about her specialty. I highly recommend her and her luxurious treatments! Shower yourself and You will love her!

Felisha Rodriguez Im a disabled veteran who has always struggled with lower back and hip pain. Finding a massage therapist who would cater to my needs and work with my disability was no easy task until I booked Alycia. She is intuitive, knowledgeable, and genuine. Theres no other therapist I would trust more than Alycia.

isabell tejeda I’ve been getting my lash extensions by Alycia for 3+ years now! Let me just say she never disappoints! Alycia will meet your eyelash needs whether you want long, full, natural etc. The shop is clean organized and very welcoming. I always feel relaxed when getting my lashes done. Not to mention she talks me out of acrylics(even though she can get more money) because my natural nails are always so long and healthy. Plus, all the other ladies at the shop are so sweet and down to earth. Love the environment of the shop when I go in for some mommy time. #mynailladysdope

Kayla McCartney If I could give 10 stars I would! This place it’s AMAZING! Everyone there is super nice and welcomeing. I’m just going to focus on my nail tech Crystalina. She is an amazing nail tech and ALWAYS has me leaving the shop feeling like a queen. She ALWAYS does beautiful work and not to mention she is a BEAUTIFUL person inside and out. I seriously look forward to seeing her every four weeks. She has never done a bad job on my nails and if I don’t like something she is so quick to fix it and make sure I am happy. I could never say anything bad about the beauty box. It’s a very clean and nice shop, when you walk in you just feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

andrea pacheco Recently I went to get my nails done with crystalina, 30 minutes after she finished doing them my nail broke off I was charged $52.00 (which is fine if she didn’t do a horrible job)!! I understand that this is a possibility and can happen, but I texted her if she could fix it and she said she only had a certain time available to fix it I expressed that I worked at that time and would not be able to I asked what other time she was free and she just read my message and did not reply... I decided to text her again the following days and she would read my messages and not reply!!! I’m very upset with the service she provided. She overcharged for a fill and my nails were ugly. Although this experience was bad I would recommend that anyone looking into this place not go to her and go to Addie she does a good job I normally go to her, but she’s always booked.

Stefanie Anguiano 10/10 experience every time I go. It’s located in the loft area of the Luxe salon. Soo specializes in Korean style nails gel nails. Good conversation, vibes, and even more stellar results. Love going here every month and yapping with her- she’s the best!

DJ Collins I had so much fun finding things for my future fills. I wish that they had a larger selection of acrylic and glitter colors to choose from. The staff was AWESOME. They spent time with me and helped me go through the molds.(they can be hard to see what they are). The prices are pretty cheap. Cant wait to go & see all the new things that they get in.

Cass Nicoya Celina does an amazing job. I stopped going because it was too far for me. But definitely recommend her. Shes a sweet lady that does wonderful nails

G S Back entrance behind main. Cute inside! Was not impressed with the brazilian service. Waxer didnt hold the skin after wax removal which made it very painful. Ive been waxed by others elsewhere. This is too rough for my likings. The alcohol after balm isnt worth the burn or the price of $60. I understand we all gotta make a living but damn Ive never had pain like this before. Im sticking with my cooling Finipil aftercare and taking my business elsewhere.

Misty Duran I had a wonderful experience getting my nails done with Patrick and Hannah. I dont normally get my nails done and Patrick mixed the perfect color for me, did an ombre and drew flowers. His work is amazing. Hannah did my pedicure and it was very relaxing. She found the perfect color to match. I will definitely go back soon.

Mireya Rodriguez If I could give it no starts I would! Online it says they are open at 8:00 a.m Saturday and it is 8:20 A.M the Nail person young woman with black hair Caucasian said they are booked for today and yet Im the only car in the parking lot that was waiting since 7:45 for them to open. I called twice no answer either. I was really hoping this was going to be my go to spot from now on. Very unprofessional.

Belinda Cranfill So far, I have not been disappointed with the services here at Rose Nails! I have gotten my nails done here 3 times and my toes once. I live close to the salon so this place is very convenient for me. I will be going back within the next 2 weeks to get another pedicure for my baby shower! Ill update my review if the services change. I kinda have high expectations for the pedicure since its for my baby shower and the last one I got from them lasted a really long time without any paint chipping! I 100% recommend this place! Very nice ladies!

Samantha F Edit: I’ve been back to see Rachel every couple weeks since that first visit. She knows me by name and is SO talented. We love you Rachel! I have had some awful experiences at nail salons in the area, so I was cautiously hopeful when I came in yesterday. I was so pleasantly surprised. It was a great time! The girl who did my pedi took her time, was thorough and didn’t rush me at all. She made my toes look amazing! But the real reason I’m writing this is about Rachel. This girl was literally the best nail artist I’ve ever had in 25 years. I have a crooked middle finger and she took the nail tip on and back off probably 15 times until she got it perfectly aligned with the rest of my nails. Every other nail artist puts it on crooked with my finger. It looks so good I wanted to cry. Not only did she take her time, make my crooked nail straight, she did a wonderful design. I’ll be back for her specific.

Jennifer Rosen UPDATED REVIEW: I have been coming here for 4 years. The service has always been mixed. I would say the 3 nicest technicians are the younger woman who works near the front desk, the younger man who also tends to work near the front, and the older man who works near the seating area. The three of them have always given me fantastic customer service and a fantastic experience. Recently it seems one woman has been managing the shop; she is very rude and rushes services, doesn’t do a great job. Last time she did my service I kept pointing out to her that she hadn’t covered my entire nail with the acrylic product, but she was argumentative and told me that the nail wasn’t done being shaped. I was really upset with the final product but accepted that she wasn’t going to help make sure I was happy with the outcome. Today all day she told me there’s no availability; however they don’t allow booked appointments so I don’t understand how they can be busy since 2:30 PM. I came in and checked it out and I was told I could come back in an hour. I came back and she did not allow me to receive a service even though they were letting other walk-ins have services. After being a consistent customer for 4 years, I think I’m done coming to this business. I am grateful for the technicians who are kind and patient, but she really ruins my experience. I’m going to check out Rose Nails down the street. *I also left a tip to be passed along to the younger man who previously worked on my nails, so I hope she gives that to him* ORIGINAL REVIEW: Very good considering other salons in Merced, probably the best option for quality. However, prices are comparable or more expensive than the San Francisco. They play Christian music, which is fine I guess, but inconsiderate to the fact that their clientele is diverse and may be a part of other religious groups or atheist. It gets slightly annoying to listen to when I’m trying to relax and get my nails done.

Corinna Diaz I live in chowchilla but will only get my nails done here. Young lady in glasses is the best and knows how to keep up with trends. My nails last 6+ weeks, totally worth the price, and shape is perfect everytime! The longer sets were done on myself.. shorter sets were done on my sister. What you pay for is what you get so it’s worth the splurge

Jordan Porter Nothing bad with the customer service but the nails were done bad and fell off less than a week of having them so that’s super disappointing. The gel was over my cuticles and you could definitely see that after day 3. I’ve never had my nails fall off in less than a week. I would have liked then to at least last two weeks. I’m not rough on my nails either. My toes were also painted gel on my skin and cuticles. So those look horrible now and half my pinky wasn’t even painted. Overall disappointment with the service but everyone was super nice. Just a waste of 100$.

Nine Aragon Love love LOVE this place. It was my first time getting a pedicure, and was nervous because I’m shy with my feet. I got the deluxe package, my boyfriend got the same. This package is one above the basic one. Absolutely loved it, almost fell asleep multiple times. And the massage chairs are amazing too. And the hot rocks they used to massage my legs. I didn’t ask what person I got to do my pedi but she was amaaazing. They also has great throwback music playing. Will definitely be coming again! It really felt like a mini vacation!

Noah Zamarripa Pretty good, I recommend but ask for a better message on certain employees. I recently went and the person/employee lacked on the foot and leg message. I wished I could have actually get my cuticles cut better and foot/leg rub better, ask for the young gentleman and the young lady, they did a better service (on pedicure).

Mrs. K Jackson So first of all I will start by saying all people whether you are black brown yellow red or purple let us please please stop giving these salons money that refuse to treat us with respect and basic business customer service! I would give zero stars and negative Stars if they had the option. 1. Made an appointment for 2:45 p.m. 8/2, the day I am writing this so it is fresh and clear in my mind ...for two, myself and my daughter who is 6 years old and autistic. First flag, after being told no problem we have that available, we ended up waiting an extra 30 plus minutes. 2. Second flag they did not use their brains to think my daughter and I needed to sit next to each other hence the autism (was mentioned on phone). No problem, I am patient, so we wait longer so we can sit together. 3. Next flag, I would like a regular polish manicure, with french tips, but I would like to choose a slightly different color for the base. Which I have done countless times at every salon I can think of. The unfortunate, and troubled, 30 to 40 year old, very thin, frail and looking crazy and rude Asian person, who was a female, told "they" could not do that. Oh and that was after I had said hello how are you today, because she did not say anything and even when I asked, did not open her defected mouth to say a word. 4. I already sensed the problem from the Giddyup, So I said you know what thats okay lets just do my daughters manicure. 5. Next flag this same person decides to sell me a downgrade to the service and says why dont you just do a polish change for her, that will cost you $10. So number one her condescending tone suggested that I guess I only came to the salon to get services for $10. And we all know dog gone well out there that we spend $100 plus getting our nails done each time, at least I do. With my manicure and pedicure, gel polish and so forth. Now what common sense, business savvy, person with a half brain working in a business downgrades or down sales a service?? Nobody thats who?? 6. Flag 5 million, then this person after asking her to Simply file my six-year-old daughters nails, which are not long at all. She refuses to file them which would have only taken two swoops of a file to even them out. At that point someone was about to be slapped. After confirming so are you telling me you will not file her nails? This ignorant person said she could not. At that point I said you know what were going to go. She had the nerve to take her mask off and say well I dont know what the problem is. And I told her what the problem was and that I would not be giving my heart-earned money to someone who cannot even say hello or open up their mouths or help the customer get what they want no thank you and goodbye. I do think this is a major issue with several of these Asian-based salons serving Black people in smaller towns such as the Merced area. Well, I will not stand for it and I think I should take legal action based on the discriminatory behaviors of the people and/or person working in this salon.! I very rarely do reviews that are negative, because I feel like if you dont have nothing nice to say.... okay... but in this case the prejudicial and racist Behavior was so obvious I had to leave, my daughter and i, before staying in that horrendous location one second longer and definitely before they took any of my money!! Shameful shameful shameful and disgusting Behavior, horrible customer service and I will never be back and anyone that I know or who is reading this please do not support this location unless you get the best of service! You deserve to have your hard earned money go to a business that appreciates it!! ..cont.. Went to atwater to Angels nails moments later, did EVERYTHING I ASKED NO PROBLEM! PERIOD!! PHOTOS FROM ANGELS NAILS!!!! ……….. To their pitiful response of glad we found a place we liked…. I’d BE GLAD IF U ADDRESSED THE HORRIBLE AND RACIST ATTEMPTED SERVICE.
