K I had an appointment with Karen, and I cannot stop staring my hair in the mirror ever since! I didnt know a great haircut really gives me confidence.
I showed her a picture how I want my hair to look like, and she made it even better! I loved that how she was checking with me through out the appointment. She was so sweet and fun to talk to :) I cannot wait to comeback next time!

Laura Gee The Beauty Spot: Disrespectful service and an owner who couldn’t care less.
I’ve been a loyal client for 9 months, totaling 9 services, even bringing my mom here because I was originally happy with Karens work. But after my last visit on the morning of Friday, March 14th, I will never return.
Here’s what happened: I overheard Karen and another stylist laughing about me in the back, calling me “annoying.” When I confronted Karen, she acknowledged she was talking about me and when I pressed about her derogatory remark, her response was a dismissive “I don’t know, that’s not between you and me,” before walking off to look out the blinds like I wasnt even there. If she wasn’t talking about me, her reaction was completely out of place and very odd —especially when she has bragged many times about having a client who comes all the way from Pennsylvania to see her. Note, when Im in town, Im loyal and only have gone to her for her services.
I should’ve walked out then, but I stayed to try to give her the benefit of the doubt. Instead of apologizing or addressing the issue, Karen acted like nothing had happened, casually asking how I was doing and talking about the weather while I sat there in shock.
The only person who showed any professionalism or actually seemed to care was Alice, the front desk manager. She listened to my complaint, apologized for Karens behavior, and assured me shed pass the incident along to the owner. I sent a detailed account via text of what happened to Alice, and she confirmed the owner received it on Friday, March 14th at 1:09pm. The next morning, Saturday March 15th at 9:33am, I was added to a group chat with an unknown number and Alice. The text simply asked, “What’s the client’s name?” This morning, Monday March 18th at 9:08am, Alice responded with my full name and she addressed the owner by name in her response. They then proceeded to have a text conversation between the two of them about an upcoming client. But, that was it. No follow-up. No apology. Nothing.
I waited until today, nearly five days after the incident, to see how everything would play out before writing this review. If the owner can’t be bothered to respond to a long-time client who was treated this poorly, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. And I strongly recommend that if you want to be treated with respect, to pick a different salon. A salon is supposed to be a place where you feel pampered, respected, and valued. Unfortunately, The Beauty Spot has proven they have no regard for any of that.

Heba Jawaid Wonderful place to get a haircut! The service is amazing and will make you feel at home! I walked in around the time of closing and Sylvia still let me get my haircut, incredibly nice! Loved how my hair turned out.
