She was friendly, helpful, and made sure the process was quick but done well! Also, they had a bunch of awesome products to shop for, and she didn’t hesitate to point me in the right direction to find products that were best for me and my hair! I can’t wait to go back! Nicole Krela Kiersten is the only person I will have do my hair! She is amazing and the salon is beautiful! I have seen her for years, including doing my hair for my wedding, and she never disappoints! Highly recommend her for anyone needing "that" hairdresser they can trust!

Cozy Cheri The little room above lifted was so cute! I did worry about ventilation, but with the window all the way open it wasnt bad. I asked Paige to paint in gel, which is not where her artistic skills really shine (shes more of an acrylic girlie). Nonetheless I love the snakeskin look that came out of trying to do "pool nails" with an almost poisonous looking mint green! such a cool look!

Launie Jostock Needed to get in to get some nails repaired while visiting on vacation. Fiona did an amazing job and was very thorough at making sure the nails were smooth and no sharp edges which is a pet peave of mine. Also used warm towels on my hands which was an extra plus. I highly reccomend...

Katrina I went here with my friend for a pedicure and absolutely loved this place! It’s a husband and wife team and they do an incredible job! The massage was so relaxing and they both were so friendly and nice! My toes looked amazing and loved how the purple color turned out. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pedicure or manicure!

Carolyn C. My daughter and I got mani/pedi’s today, and we both got nail art done. This was our first time using a nail salon here in Humboldt. We found this one by reading reviews and looking at photos. I’m very pleased with how our manicures turned out. The owners work together very well, and they both are incredibly friendly. I forgot the husband’s name, but we chatted about all kinds of stuff while he worked. Fiona did an amazing job with the nail art, and was very kind when I changed my mind on the yellow I wanted in my flowers. Prices were very reasonable. They do take walk ins, but appointments come before walk ins so I recommend getting an appointment. They also have a great variety of services at reasonable prices. They were open prior to Covid, but had to shut down for almost a year. They just re opened 3 weeks a go. That is why there were not many recent reviews. I’m glad I got to add mine. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Sarah Vainuku Brought my three daughters in with me tonight for pedicures (and one daughter got a full set), and we were treated like royalty. Even my 8 year old’s pedicure was over the top amazing! We each had our own person doing our pedicures, and they took their time. We even came in after closing and they were happy to take care of us.Sometimes this place is busy and they have to rush from client to client, but they always make sure the job is done perfectly. Highly recommend LC Nails! The family who runs this business is very kind and professional.

Leola Braden The worst set of nails I’ve ever had. I went in just yesterday and today 2 nails lost polish. Many others have bubbled Alf will burst also. My thumb nail has chipped and is wearing away. I have multiple cuts on me skin from the drill also. $65 was way too much for such bad work.

make up Read if you care about product quality 3 weeks ago, I called Redwood Nails Spa to ask for the price of a pink and white set. The daughter responded $55. So I did a walk in same day! The father sat me down and started prepping my nails, 1st red flag (used files.) He asked me which color I wanted for the base and I picked out a light shade pink, he then used white tips and started his job. Towards the ends he cut me about 2 times. And charged me $65. No worries, I was happy it was a fast service. I never never get acrylics but it was for a special occasion. Today 12/5/2024 I had a quick appointment with a nice nail tech who is licensed and went to the beauty school in Eureka. she was removing my nails from Redwoods Nail Spa she mention that they used “MMA” for the base. Ladies please educate yourself and learn what MMA is. Because I did not know what it was until today. THIS IS MESSED UP AND TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. DIRTY & BAD QUALITY!!

Trump R (Trumpmama) This was my second time ever having a pedicure, and it was amazing! Im diabetic and overweight, so dealing with upkeep on my feet is not always easy, but very necessary. They were able to take me as a walk-in, and I went for the works called "The Redwood" with gel polish. It was so worth every penny! Everyone there was very nice, and the lady did an amazing job on my feet. They feel so nice now and pretty too! I will be going back for sure!

Christina Blackburn I want to start by saying the man that did my nails was very nice. However, the color I wanted wasn’t available and he used a color that wasn’t brown but more like a purple that looks more black than brown. I went in wanting gold and brown, but came out with black nails somehow. My fault for not changing the color and that’s on me. Also, before he painted my nails he asked me for a form of payment and I thought that was strange. I wouldn’t say it was worth $50. The nail polish wasn’t put on correctly and my nails smell like chemicals. I want to add when I went in he said it would only take 45 minutes. I was there for close to TWO HOURS. For being there that long and being charged $50 wasnt worth it to me. I’m actually going to have to take the nails off tonight because of the smell and the nail polish is already peeling off.

Elena Comnes David is a kind and professional manicurist. It was my first time and I had an excellent manicure and pedicure. The salon is clean and smells good. Bonus: has a HUGE selection of acrylic nails!! My picture is only half of the options!

Genna Dove David is the best he always takes really good care of my nails and he’s really funny and nice too! My nails bling bling every time!

Sarah H Made an appointment for 2 pedicures 2 hours in advance. We arrive and only 1 technician. He was nice and friendly and said hed be doing us both, "fast not to worry". We should have left right then. But we stayed. Gel pedicures usually take 40-60 minutes and last weeks. Each of us was finished within 30 minutes, and less then 5 hours later, 2 toes have no gel color remaining. Completely gone, on 2 toes! Within 5 hours! Spent $100 for 2 of the worst gel pedicures we ever received. Trust your gut, walk out.
