Shayla Covington Rabia makes you feel so at home - she’s got such a warm and caring nature to her work it makes me come back every time! I’ve been going here for probably close to 5 years and I have never been disappointed! I also get my face powder from their cosmetic line because it’s got some coverage but so delicate on the face - spritz a little rose water - and viola! It’s been my favorite for years as someone who has decent skin and doesn’t feel a desire to put on a heavier coverage. Just overall a wonderful business to support with ladies who will make you feel like friends in no time!

B Okamoto It is very rare that you find a hairstylist as skilled knowledgeable and as much of a perfectionist as Hanna! She has been my trusted stylist for about 7 years and has always made my hair look so revived and beautiful. I have very long straight thick hair with no body, but every time I go see Hanna she is the only stylist who is able to really reshape and breathe life into my hair- making me feel 10 pounds lighter and a whole lot more gorgeous! I also get glazes and tones from Hanna and I love how skilled she is in color theory and always picks the most beautiful rich tones and dimensions for my hair. 10/10 best stylist in Charlotte.

Ruiz Daniel (Danny) When I first walked in, they welcomed me with such optimism. It’s a nice spot and the environment is a home and they really do know what they’re doing. I don’t usually like getting fresh haircuts but they did my hair very well. Definitely recommend this place.

Natalie Beary Hadeel is such a kind and knowledgeable curly hairstylist. Her studio space is beautiful and inviting. She taught me a lot about how to care for my curls. The products she uses, I ended up using at home with sustained hair results. I have received a ton of compliments, now that I know how better style my hair. I will be back!

chevi ames I had a wonderful appointment with Hadeel! Coming in my hair had been very badly damaged by hard water. It was frizzy, discolored, breaking at every end and the curls were weak… leaving the salon I felt like a whole new Woman! Hadeel took her time and paid attention to all the little details, making sure to listen to my whole hair story. My hair was again curly, shiny and soft. I’m looking forward to my continued journey with Hadeel and restoring my beautiful curls!

Nicole Jackson Hadeel at Qurl Craft Hair Salon did an amazing job on my young friend who I wanted to surprise with an amazing cut for her curly hair. BagOTrix On the fence and not sure if it’s fair to review based on service from one individual since there are several people to one may select. First time in and didn’t receive a great haircut but wasn’t hideous either just wasn’t exactly what asked to have done. Inside seems nice and open floor plan with stations on both sides. Everyones experience of a haircut varies and depends on what you like, that’s the obvious so perhaps you enjoy a getting your hair washed along with a scalp massage and conversation getting to know your new stylist or do you prefer not to have any conversation? I prefer to try and know my stylist with light conversions since we are mutually getting to know each other and figure out if I’ll become a long term client. My stylist happened to be uncomfortably quiet and had to talk so there wasn’t dead silence also wanted to know if they were cutting how I requested. If decided to return, will try a different stylist and update review.

Erin This is a 3 part review. One of my daughters has a haircut with Jazmin. We liked it very much, and booked a haircut with her (she herself booked it) for my other daughter 10 days later. When we came for my other daughter’s appointment, which we confirmed, and got the 1 hour reminder of before, we were told that Yazmin was running behind, wouldn’t be able to cut my daughter’s hair, but that Alex could. Since we had driven from another city for this appt, we agreed. We liked the cut, and then I decided to book a cut and color with Alex for myself. I should have known when they did the switch to not book anymore here. On the Saturday before my Tuesday appointment (which I had booked in person with Alex), I received a called from a receptionist who told me “It would be better if you could come Monday at 10.” I advised her that I couldn’t come at 10. I was totally out off by that, and we will not be coming back. I think some work on phone skills would be helpful too.

Ava Wessels got my hair done like a year ago here and i forgot the stylist name but she was blonde and literally does not know how to do hair. i asked for blonde on my dyed brown hair and she gave me streaky stripy highlights with a horrible money piece that didn’t even touch my root. not only that but she left a huge brown spot stain on the bright blonde money piece and when i went back to fix it she said the stain “couldn’t come out” and so just bleached over the already bright blonde money piece and fried it.

D MM Annie is a Master of her craft. I walked in with a picture of what I would like to have accomplished, and hair that had not been cut in 4 months. With confidence and master skills, she cut, shaped and styled. We still have a bit to "rework" as my hair continues to grow out the "disconnected haircut" from the previous stylist. But I walked out with more confidence and loving my cut instead of always keeping it in a pony-tail. Found my new happy hair place!

Alissa Shepherd Angelica did my hair and she did an amazing job . She was so much fun to talk to she is very kind and very passionate in her hair styling and cutting. She really wants her customers looking and feeling amazing. I will continue to go to her for my hair styling cutting and hair dying appointments.

It was my first time at this salon, it was beautiful and everyone was so nice. I definitely recommend Tina, whether you have straight hair or type 2 or 3 waves/curls, she will do a wonderful job.

susan mccormick Jessica is simply the best! If you have curly hair, do not hesitate. My curls have never looked this good. I came to Jessica with some prior knowledge of curly hair techniques, but she has absolutely upped my game! She is delightful to be around, listens, and has the experience and artistry to get you exactly where you want to be with your hair!

Rhiannon Houston Jessica is fantastic! She is so friendly and sweet and the experience is top notch. I felt truly seen and pampered. My curls have never looked better and she showed me how to style them in a way that is manageable. A curl specialist is the way to go! I wish I would have found her sooner.

Tobi Cunningham Jessica worked miracles on my hair. I went in knowing very little about how to take proper care of my hair and had let it go for some time. She was super sweet and accommodating and asked lots of questions to be sure she got my full hair story. I really appreciated her thoroughness. Her studio is very cute and she is a fun personality to be around. She made the process both fun and interesting; I completely trusted her through the process. She cut, colored, and styled my hair and told me what she was doing so I was aware. She went through the whole wash, dry, and style process with me and I’ve never seen my hair look so curly and alive. The color was perfect, the cut was perfect, I now know how to care for my hair, and she was a delight. She’s also great about answering questions via email and sending updates and suggestions up until the appointment and even after. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Jessica for all your curly cut and coloring needs. Thank you, Jessica!

Robin Malby Pomegranate Salon is ideally located near downtown Santa Rosa. I park for free on Cherry Street and walk. All the beauticians are very experienced in cutting hair. I use Esther who is the owner and does a fantastic job. She listens to what I want and gives me a great cut every time. The atmosphere is welcoming and the receptionist very friendly. You cant go wrong here.

Leslie Ramage Janis has been my stylist for at least five years! She is pleasant, funny, and does an outstanding job on my hair, every single time! Everyone at Pomegranate Salon is very friendly and they strive to make you comfortable and happy. Love this salon!❤❤❤

Delaney Ross St James Salon was an AMAZING choice for our wedding day. From the trial to the day-of, they were great with accepting my suggestions and scheduling. On the day, they got all 7 of us (me, three bridesmaids and two moms) done in just a few hours, and were incredibly punctual. They also took our varied requests in stride... two of my bridesmaids NEVER wear makeup, so they have them a beautiful natural look, and one wanted a HUGE hairdo, and they went with it and it looked incredible. I loved every one of their ideas and they really came through in pictures. What’s more, their prices were competitive! Thank you so much to Lauren and her mom and their team!

Heidi Walliser I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with St. James Salon. The team was attentive and answered emails and phone calls in a very timely manner – even with Covid-19 and natural disasters happening all around us! Every person who had their hair and makeup done was absolutely thrilled with the results – including my mom and aunt who are a little harder to please. I had some notes for the team after my hair and makeup trial and every detail was addressed on the day of our wedding. The team arrived right on time, and even finished early! I was thrilled that 4 hair/makeup stylists were sent so that we did not have to start too early in the morning as well. This made for such a relaxed morning and afternoon with beautiful results when we were done! I cant wait to see more photos from our photographer.

ROBYN Chittister My 12-yo daughter thinks she knows everything about hair and wont let me touch it. The last time we got her hair done, Juliana noticed that the hair is damaged. I talked to Juliana about having a general hair care appointment, where she could show my daughter what she should be doing. I booked that appointment, and Juliana was wonderful! Took my daughter through all the steps and products, and even gave us some products as well. Then, she did some wonderful braids! My daughter loves them and wants to keep them for the foreseeable future. Everyone agrees her hair looks great!

Tina Lowe Juliana did not put in my box braids, but another woman working with her, did! I am very happy with the results. Juliana never disappointed me nor did this new woman (so sorry, I do not remember her name).

Natalia Cabezas I used to go all they way to Texas to do my hair but since 2010. I have been coming here and I love my stylist. She always knows just exactly what color I like. And everyone is so friendly and I love my stylist Sandra. I will be back soon. I love it there. Mask no longer required but the place is big and so inviting. Love the ladies there. So friendly and always a pleasure talking with them and enjoying my hair. I love it. One of the best salons in all Santa Rosa.
