Carrie Stearns Called today 8/13/24 to make a booking for 5 people, when I mentioned my confusion that there were 3 different prices for the same service the lady replied, "Are you going to make a booking or are you just waisting my time?" She was just plain rude... when Im simply asking questions before spending a large amount with Cotton Blow Dry Bar. Sorry for waisting your time! Customer service is just not important to some businesses, even when they are in the service industry. Go somewhere else!

Katerina Milevski The girl who did my hair did a wonderful job but unfortunately the customer service was just awful. I had an appointment for hair and makeup for my engagement photos. I had made this appointment well in advance. I had to sit for about 40 minutes because they only had one stylist at the salon. After 30 mins of doing my hair I asked who going to be doing my makeup since I had to be out of there a certain time. After several calls to owner she finally picks up and told the the stylist that " .... was supposed to be coming in to do my makeup" . The owner said she was texting with the makeup artist and she was "stuck in traffic"..45 minutes went by and the owner was well aware that the girl scheduled to do my make up wasnt coming in. As the owner of a salon knowing someone who is paying for a service and especially getting engagement photos done - I would have called all of my employees. From what it sounded like on the phone she really didnt give two cents and didnt know what to do. I can tell you they are extremely unorganized when it comes to appointments and really unprofessional. I was left in a scramble to get my makeup done and was late for our photos. Really disappointing.

Kussner Bess (Basya) I found Cotton Blow Dry Bar from a quick Google search. I needed my hair done for a Saturday wedding and was able to book a blow out the night before. I was a little concerned with the negative reviews, but I realized most of them are from 4+ years ago. I had an incredible experience. First off, they took me in 10 minutes early (I expected the opposite). Second, my stylist (Tanya) was lovely. The hour flew by because we were having such a great conversation. And last but not least, I LOVE my hair. Worth every penny. Ill definitely be back.

Diane Gotti I have been going to Mia at Elle Salon for over 10 years now. She is the best i have ever had at cutting and highlighting my long hair. My hair wouldnt be as long as it is if it werent for her. My hair looks great every time I leave this salon. It is very modern, bright and everyone is friendly.

Steph Thomas I Have been coming to Elle Salon for the last 13 years. I love this place. Kim has been my stylist during that time and she is the best. She takes time to do my hair after hours since my busy schedule doesnt allow me to come on the weekends. If Kim has ever been on vacation or if I need a quick style or cut, I have seen other stylists such as Tracie and Eva. They are also fantastic. Every stylists that works here is very talented and every client leaves looking fabulous. I love the new location in the Edinger plaza. The salon is gorgeous and extremely trendy. The staff is very friendly and nice to all of the clients and it makes for a great experience. I love Elle Salon.

Colleen Morales I come to this location because I follow Brianna where ever she goes. I explained to my daughter that Brianna is the only one I trust because not everyone cuts curly hair good. Either way, my daughter came out a whole new person LOL. It was a great cut, and the shop was super clean as well. Theres ample parking since its in a strip mall type area. Brianna and the shop highly recommended.

Whitney Gregory Best salon EVER! I have been going to Meleesa since I moved to Huntington Beach 5 years ago and have never once had a bad experience. She has always listened to what I wanted and kept my hair healthy throughout. I’ve had extensions, colors, cuts and have been thrilled every time. Meleesa also did my hair for my wedding and it was flawless! Her quality work is also paired with an amazing vibe as well as sustainability practices throughout the salon. Cannot say enough good things!

Bimia Hammel I have been going to Meleesa’s Salon since she opened. Ive had just about every service they offer at one time or another and use the products they sell exclusively. I had my bridal party there for hair and makeup almost five years ago as well. Currently, I get my hair done by Meleesa and my eyelashes from Aubrey and Melissa. They are the absolute best! All of them. The feeling of calm always washes over me the moment I walk in the door and I know the women there create that environment organically and without thought. They are beautiful humans and I adore them all dearly. Every time I leave there I feel and look my best both inside and out.

Pamela Hollander I cannot say enough good things about this Salon and the owner, Meleesa. From the time you walk in the door, it is warm and inviting yet during these times, also safe. I love that the products used are all sustainable as well as most current and trending. However the best feature of the Salon is Meleesa herself, her knowledge, styles, coloring, positive energy and beautiful heart... Gypsy is a big plus too..... I should also share, my hair color hair always gets raves due to its brightness, shine and colors!

Ben Young Lin and her husband continue to impress with their exceptional service that combines skill, value, and genuine warmth. What makes this salon stand out is the personal touch. Lin takes the time to understand exactly what you want, offering suggestions based on your face shape and lifestyle. Her husband is equally attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere where you feel more like family than a customer. Their pricing is refreshingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of work. You get high-end results without the premium price tag that many salons charge. The salon itself is clean and well-maintained, but its really the people that make the difference. Their combined years of experience show in every cut, color, and style. If youre looking for skilled stylists who offer great value and treat you like a friend rather than just another appointment, I cant recommend Lin and her husband enough. Theyve earned a loyal customer in me!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Robyn Timmons I just recently moved to the area and had been searching for a stylist for cut/color/highlights on my very long, thick hair. I found Paul and he was great with working with my hair that was very long overdue for maintenance! I have a very specific unstructured, choppy haircut that he was able to execute and also helped with with deciding and giving his opinion on colors for my hair that had grown out extensively and still had old color throughout. Hes very passionate about his work and strives to make sure his clients are happy before they leave. Price was incredibly affordable. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Rania Basalious Bad place. I had a bad hair cut and they took 60 dillars because my hair is tall to wash, dry and style. They said to me your hair is tall and will take more shampoo and more work. Which is not very tall at all. Keep talking about money. I even get out of there with my hair looks like nothing happened to it. The bane in my hair in front has a cut in half of my forehead and the other half of my forehead side has no bane no cut at all. Not only this mistake and I can come to show it to you. Didnt discover till I went home. And my friends start to tell me on the party that there is something wrong in my hair cut. Once i got out of door my hair turned to be very frizzy. I look at my car mirror and I told my self may be i can calm it down at home. I never have this bad experience at all before. Usually it will stay good even for one day. The charge was double the price which is Two reservations on groupon. My hair not very thick and not very long. I didnt went to place before which charged me double the price saying that my hair is long and will take more shampoo. You should add this to the groupon. Thank you for this bad experience. Wish you better luck with your future customers.

French Bagguette Found this place by accident and Im glad i did, intention all came to the plaza for some Carls Jr. And I ended up with Carls Jr. And an amazing haircut,who wouldve have thought?! Left my old barber it was a bit sad change but is always for the better. Coming here for the past 6months now the atmosphere is wonderful relaxing like how getting your hair cut is suppose to be and the staff very friendly make you feel right at home. I normally get my cut from Helen if not Lynn honestly you cant go wrong with anybody there very professional everyone holds a high standard, you just got to find who you jive with.

Valerie Gibson Professional service and friendly atmosphere at this salon. Helen and Tanya colored and cut my and my daughter’s hair. Never had a nicer outcome. All the beauticians were friendly and their clients seemed very satisfied. There were both men and women, old and young clients. Tanya does eyelashes and is patient. She erased years for me and I don’t have to worry about makeup for a quick trip to the grocery store any more. Amazing! If you’re tired of looking for a dependable, caring and reasonably priced salon, try HB Hair Company. No pressure to upgrade. You will be happy you made an appointment.

She is sweet, talented and an overall wonderful hair stylist. My hair looks and feels better than it has in years! alyssa martin Lauren is 1000%, absolutely my hair HERO! I can’t get enough blonde going on and she has mastered the art of making me look and feel fantasticly blonde while keeping my hair healthy. I first came to Lauren with extremely damaged hair, breakage on top of breakage, I couldn’t believe what my hair had been through. Lauren has been a wealth of knowledge and care during my hair recovery journey and continues to nurture every strand. Blonde requires a lot of TLC and Lauren is just the girly for the job; I couldn’t appreciate her more.

Carley Baker Heidi is fantastic! I was nervous to try someone new, and she completely exceeded my expectations. I walked away with one of the best layered cuts in years, and shes also a sweetheart to top it off. Id return in a heartbeat!!

Gabriela Carbajal Took my mom here to get a balayage from Traci . Ended up leaving very disappointed and very upset because she was not detailed on her pricing ended up paying 270+ for something half done. And if we wanted the final look we would have to end up paying 500+! Very unfair pricing and overall felt taken advantage of. So if your willing to pay $500-$600 dollars on some hair due with a unprofessional outcome then go ahead. Very very disappointed and upset.

Ruth Wilson Adi cut and styled my hair. It took an incredible amount of detail and focus. She clearly knows all the techniques for cutting curly hair. I was very impressed with my cut. Oasis is the best curly hair salon out there! I have been to several salons that specialize in curly haircuts and have never been fully satisfied due to one gripe or another. And not only was I completely satisfied with Adi’s cut, but I also appreciate the calming atmosphere of Oasis. The name says it all!

Bridget K Bita, exceptional colorist and stylist JUST took my hair that I had decided to go au natural (aka gray), she blended so beautifully I am in awe. Her cuts are spectacular and never mind her beautiful old soul. Shes in the JC Salons @Seacliff. Youll never go anywhere else.

Kim Le did such a great job that Im going to have her cut and style my hair as well. John Creed Ashley has been cutting my hair and trimming my beard every 2 weeks for the last five years and I am extremely happy. She is always so sweet and really creates a luxury experience. I look forward to my hair being washed and conditioned along with the very relaxing scalp massage. Prior to Ashley I had been bouncing around to different barbers and stylists for over ten years. She always takes the time to check in and make sure we are on the same page about what I am wanting prior to the cut. She asks all the right questions and really tries to figure out what is best for my head shape and growth. Recently she suggested toning my hair to help make some of my grey hair more vibrant and shiny. It was such a good recommendation because I get so many compliments.

Krystal Great Salon!! I haven’t done anything to my hair in 2 years and I was really looking for a great stylist yo start my new hair journey. The salon directed me to their stylist Ashley. She listened to my concerns and had some great ideas. My hair looks BEAUTIFUL. Not only was she helpful, but she is super fun too!

E Shiro Main Acct I cant recommend the nail services at this spa enough. Tommy has been doing my manicures and Tina my pedicures for years. Their work is beautiful and lasts longer than any other professional Ive gone to. What I love most about them, though, is their pleasant personalities. They encourage you to relax and enjoy the experience. Theyre incredibly kind-hearted and more reasonable in their prices than anywhere else.

Mary Minar Julie has been doing my eyelash extensions for 5 years. She does a fantastic job, is always on time and is so kind. I always get compliments on my lashes. Its easy to schedule with her and her salon is clean and relaxing.

From the moment I sat in her chair, I knew I was in expert hands. She is quick, efficient, and truly talented at what she does. Everyone loved their hair, and we all felt gorgeous and confident the entire day. I have been seeing Jessica for a while now, ever since I was getting ready for my bachelorette party. My hair is naturally thin and I’ve always struggled with volume, so I went to Jessica for hair extensions. She is a master at them! I’ve never felt more confident with my hair, and knowing that I could trust her to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day was such a relief. Gemma Touchstone Jessica! It’s about time I left a review. I’ve been seeing Jessica for about almost 4 years now she has done so many different versions of extensions always willing to try whatever I want to try but by far the best I have to say that in our four years together, I left twice to try other people and I came back with my tail between my legs both times, once you have somebody with this amount of talent, you definitely should stick with them. I drive from Irvine to Huntington Beach and it’s worth it but extensions are superior. She really put attention to detail so you never have itchy, scalp, or pulling hairs or all of the things that go wrong with extensions. So I just wanted to give a recommendation because a good hair girl is hard to find so if you’re looking for one, you should definitely book mine

Patty Duke Summer is a great artist. I get compliments on my red hair all the time. Red is the hardest color for anyone to keep looking nice and natural. My red stays in, and does not fade. I love it! Every person at Cheveux is friendly and good at their job. There are people who specialize in curly hair, and correctly cut it. I didnt even know it was a specialty!

Sean Goebel Ive been coming to Ricky to have my hair cut for something like 20 years. He knows my family and I know his. He does a great job! His prices are reasonable ($25 + tip for a guys haircut). Highly recommended!
