5 /5 Elysia Guillen: Lazy Eye Shop’s new Old Town Goleta location is that girl. Bright, welcoming, and effortlessly cool without trying too hard.
First off, inclusivity is not just a buzzword here. This shop is truly for every body and every budget, which honestly feels refreshing. You’ll find a thoughtful mix of vintage and secondhand pieces, locally made ceramics, jewelry, and other treasures that make it very hard to leave empty-handed (I tried, I failed). And yes, they’ve got great stuff for men too.
Andi, the owner, has curated a space that feels intentional and community-rooted and does an amazing job working closely with local artists and giving them a platform. You can really feel that care throughout the shop, especially if you’ve ever stopped by during the Old Town Goleta Community Walk. Alyssa is also an absolute gem. Warm, helpful, and happy to let you browse without hovering. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and very “take your time, you belong here.”
Logistics matter, so let’s talk parking. There’s a free city lot on the corner of Hollister Ave and Pine Ave, plus street parking if you’re feeling lucky. No excuses.
If you love supporting local makers, vintage, and secondhand shopping and want a shop that actually walks the walk when it comes to inclusivity, Lazy Eye Shop is doing it right.
