5 /5 Stefanie Jacinto Deo: Cute little lookout point to see the wetlands. Youll often see clusters of small birds standing in the shallow waters. Past the wetlands, you can see the southern edge of Foster City. This is part of the Bay trail that runs along the edge of the Redwood Shores neighborhood. Its good for walking/hiking and is wide enough for cyclists to comfortably share the trail with hikers. For the not-so-locals, there is a tiny Bay Trail Parking lot (also on Google Maps) on Canvasback Way. If you start from there, the trail is paved up to somewhere a little past the entrance of the Wetland Overlook path, and the paving is in relatively good condition that you shouldnt encounter too many bumps on the road. After that part, it becomes loose gravel and rocks which can get uncomfortable with bikes not meant for off-road adventures.
