Gamble Garden - Palo Alto Mei S Chen: Gamble Garden is one of those places I keep coming back to. I’ve been with my kids for casual visits, attended community events, and even went to a wedding here—it always feels peaceful and beautifully maintained.
The garden isn’t huge, but it’s full of winding paths, shaded corners, and a wide variety of flowers that change with the seasons. My three kids always find things to explore, and it’s the kind of place where you don’t have to rush.
Weekends are usually quiet, with no wait and easy street parking. It’s free to enter, and you can stay for a quick walk or take your time. Events are well organized, and the whole space has a calm, welcoming feel.
Whether youre there for a moment of quiet, a family stroll, or something special like a wedding, it just works. A favorite spot I’m always happy to return to.

Eleanor Pardee Park - Palo Alto namnam km: I had an overall enjoyable stay with friends at the park with friends amid covid 19. We tried to have a picnic and brought lunch. We brought picnic blanket to sit on the grass but theres not a tons of shades and the ground was bumpy and its was not that nice to sit on the grass. Theres some trees that looks really nice though. Its a place for the local neighborhood. I didnt see a lot of benches or tables but we didnt really explore the while place.
Byxbee Park - Palo Alto Marlene Smith: Beautiful spot to watch sunrise or sunset. Great for biking or hiking to Shoreline and back. Great for bird watchers: geese, ducks, storks, boots, seagulls. Can get windy walking along the shoreline of the bay requiring a windbreaker or jacket. Bring your camera to capture wildlife and wildflowers.
