NorthBay Health Womens Services – Fairfield - Fairfield Teagan Eastman: I have had nothing but negative experiences at North Bay Women’s Services. If you are able to get in elsewhere I would suggest you try anywhere else! I have had 3 scheduled appts and each one was cancelled and rescheduled. Each cancellation was day of, and the new appt was scheduled without consultation with me on if I was available to make the new appt. I went to the clinic a year ago for an ultrasound and found out I was having a miscarriage. The provider I saw had terrible bedside manner and offered me NO information or support on how to process a miscarriage or proceed. This was especially disappointing as at the beginning of the appt I had brought up feeling suicidal and my history of mental health struggles. To be offered zero suggestions on support groups or asked if I was okay was disappointing. The provider was so harsh even my partner was offended. Yesterday I was supposed to have a consult for abdominal pain and anomalies on scans, I called the day before and confirmed I still had the appt and mentioned I was having abnormal bleeding and was very glad to have the appt. The next day at 10am they call and I get a text about a new appt on Jan 5. No text about a cancelled appt. I get that all health care facilities are overbooked and overworked but when you are in pain and bleeding waiting weeks and weeks for appts only to have them continually cancel and to have poor service when you do get to an appt is frustrating.
