1 /5 Vesta: UCSF Otolaryngology: impossible to schedule an appt with an ENT at their Sutter location. The first time the scheduler booked an appt for a provider in Redwood City (4 hours driving time RT) despite my request for Sutter Street location. I even confirmed the location before ending the call. 5 phone calls later, still getting the runaround ("Well call you back...")-who knows when? None of their return phone numbers connect. Ive been a patient at UCSF for over a decade. The evil empire strikes again!

1 /5 Marie Deschênes: The doctor didn’t show up to my appointment, her assistant did instead. She was quick to diagnose not much and sent me home with nasal sprays that didn’t work. I was expecting to see the doctor later but when I tried to book they said “No you’ve already been seen.” I’m still dealing with the same issues months later. Just got another order, will go somewhere else.

1 /5 Lauren Savage: Day 1: 3 hours on the phone trying to get an ENT appointment for an urgent swallowing issue. Got a time for the next day. Got a call back that they had to cancel it with no reason. Day 2: Got a call to reschedule. Spent an hour trying to get connected. Got an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks from now. Day 3: Got a call back that they had to cancel that appointment- doctor does not see 14 year olds and other doctor is on sabbatical. Next available appointment is 3 months from now. Now we have to go to the hospital instead. UCSF Otolaryngology scheduling services are atrocious. They dont even know who their doctors are or who they see.

1 /5 Carmen Castillo: Im wondering if anyone is working at this office? I called three times and all I get is a recording. Nothing else. This is supposed to be a clinic for humans, but no human is answering the phone. This clinic really needs to be more customer service. We are people needing to see a doctor.

1 /5 Nick Kinling: Avoid if you have any moral compass. They are a business built on price gouging. They perform "services" on top of normal visits and charge you astronomical amounts. The doc offered to clean one of my ears and they billed me $400. Truly disgusting. Please make sure protect yourself and ask the doctor before they do anything extra. Better yet, avoid this place entirely.

pizza pizza: I went here three separate times and its been nearly impossible to get these three appointments. Appointment times are getting longer and Dr Martin is nothing but a joke. Ive received zero help and Ive been strung along the entire way and my insurance continues to pay, and pay, and pay. He makes sure to see the patient one to two times a year to make sure that he actually gets paid from the insurance. Dont go here if you want actual help. Im being told in February that I have to wait till December for RESULTS I have been given zero help the entire time Ive been there. UCSF is now just a money-making trap. UCSF used to be an extremely helpful hospital but as the years go on they get more and more unreliable. If you actually love your loved ones dont take them here

Andrea Moran: Please do not come here. I would rate this hospital lower than 1 star if I could but that alone should tell you that my review is not great. This hospital has taken advantage of my family, with only their interest in mind. That interest being money. They charge you for blankets, there’s no A/C, they’re not clean and are negligent. Tell me why my aunt has been here for months and just NOW, they’re saying she has a flesh eating disease. When people have been around her, touching her. When her tab is about to run out. So now more money has had to be deposited. What the hell have they been doing all this time? Where are the hazmat suits? Why is no one wearing gloves or a mask? Why are her sheets not being changed out? Ever? Why are the family members expected to help lift the patient instead of the nurses and doctors doing their job? And if they needed help, they could be polite about it but they’re not. My aunt’s health could’ve improved but because of this disgusting place and their unqualified staff, she could lose her life. She has been transferred elsewhere, to a general hospital where the care and environment are such a huge improvement from this dump that’s a private hospital, where the care should be equivalent to what you’re paying for, right? Seriously, go elsewhere.
