2 /5 Faiza Mokhtar: I went there for a second opinion. The doctor was wonderful and took time explain things. However, the front desk are a bunch of mean girls who likely are miserable people and take it out on patients. They rather just chit chat about places theyll likely never visit than help a patient out with a question. Since you have to deal with the front desk more than the doctor, I cannot recommend coming here for obgyn care. Go elsewhere. Update: the canned response providing the link doesnt even work

1 /5 Mark Dombrovski: I am extremely disappointed with the service from UCLA Health Santa Monica OBGYN. My wife had an appointment with regular exams and bloodwork, but the care team never followed up on the concerning results, causing my wife significant anxiety. Despite reaching out three times over the past month (over the phone and via messages), we received no response, which is unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, poor attitude, and disrespect towards patients from the entire care team are alarming. It is concerning that UCLA hires such unprofessional individuals. This experience has left us very dissatisfied and worried about the quality of care provided.

1 /5 Clare: The office is fine. The billing is absolutely INSANE. Every time I have a visit I prepare for the absolute worst money-wise, and am consistently met with it. I have normal insurance but UCLA’s charges are just asinine. From bigger things like gyno-procedures down to minor concerns I’ve popped in for, the invoices are always staggering and it’s really disheartening because women’s health shouldn’t rob us blind. Beware, and I’ve heard that other healthcare providers in the area are a lot more affordable.

5 /5 Megan Dugan: I chose UCLA Santa Monica for my first pregnancy which just resulted in the most perfect little boy. I had an amazing experience at this office and truly appreciated how caring the staff was throughout my journey. Not only were they always on top of everything and easy to reach, the use of the UCLA/my chart app made everything so easily accessible. I really appreciated the hybrid care between OB/midwives. I was able to meet all of the midwives throughout my pregnancy, so they were familiar faces during the birth. While my actual birth did not go according to my birth plan whatsoever, I really appreciated the level of care I was given from all of the doctors and nurses at UCLA Santa Monica hospital.

4 /5 Padilla-Villa A: Perhaps Ive been unlucky but the UCLA staff has scheduled me for an appointment to the wrong office, theyve lost my insurance card, and theyve failed to let me know that I needed to fast before an appointment...all of these mistakes were made by different staff members and although the staff was apologetic and very nice in person, the mistakes nevertheless caused inconveniences to me and negatively affected my patient experience especially because I took time off of work to make these appointments. Also, UCLA has a call center that filters all calls and Ive waited 20+ minutes just to get them to connect me with the office I need to speak to. The doctors themselves were good. I would rate UCLA better if perhaps there was only one incident where things went wrong but that was not the case. My labor/delivery experience at the hospital on the other hand was fantastic.
