Im so happy hes thriving in his own space! Hes the only person who ever cut my hair so that it looked good naturally without any styling. Like, hes so much better than any other hairdresser Ive tried. My friend had a phobia of stylists and felt she would always hate what other people did with her hair - I sent her to Jean-Marie when she was visiting and she loved it. Now she waits until shes in the Bay Area to get her hair cut!

Hair Concepts Salon - Mountain View Wen Xi: Christy is the only person my husband trusts for haircut in the Bay Area. He has been going there for 10+ years and has always been satisfied. Recently I brought my dad to Christy for haircut and the result came out pretty well too! She is friendly, professional and reliable. My dad felt very welcomed and comfortable visiting. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a haircut at a reasonable price.

Essence Salon - Mountain View Olivia Shearin: I completely recommend Mary at Essence Salon! I’ve been going to her for haircuts over the last few years. I even drive down from SF just to see her. The salon also has a nice ambience and kind and attentive staff. Included some before/after photos of how Mary fixed my hair after the pandemic!
Midtown Hair Studio - Los Altos Helen Yu: It is a horrible place. I had a terrible haircut. The style looks ugly. I expressed my unhappiness.
But it is close to my house. I couldn’t find one close by. So On a Saturday, I walked in and they told me no schedule available. But there is a man walked in and they took him.
Balisimo Salon - Los Altos Karimar Amador Martinez: I had an excellent experience with my haircut. Ruben was very friendly, attentive, and did exactly what I wanted. The prices were reasonable too. Highly recommend!
Larry Wells Salon - Mountain View S Pantuev: Some of the clients or staff don’t fill like walking so they park blocking the sidewalk. Not the first time. If you work here remember that you, doesn’t matter what’s your job here, you are face of the business, everyone is. And if your client parks on the sidewalk it will also harm your business. How? The car is blocking the entrance.
Voila Hair Design - Los Altos ivapeeva C: Nikki Safaei @beautyinheaven (Instagram) is a true master of her art with simultaneously being a top-notch colorist. Her balayage and ombré techniques are perfection as she takes time to do it right, without frying your hair. I’ve been told by many previous stylists that because I have fine/shorter hair, that I can’t have balayage. Not a problem for Nikki and now I know that those former stylists just didn’t know what they were doing. You won’t be disappointed as Nikki understands what you want, will deliver, and you’ll strut out of the salon feeling like a million bucks. Oh yea, and she’s a lovely person both inside and out with whom it’s fun to catch up with - and now my daughter gets her hair done by Nikki as well…and it always looks stunning! :)
