5 /5 Olivia Shearin: I completely recommend Mary at Essence Salon! I’ve been going to her for haircuts over the last few years. I even drive down from SF just to see her. The salon also has a nice ambience and kind and attentive staff. Included some before/after photos of how Mary fixed my hair after the pandemic!

When we met in the salon, her warm and welcoming demeanor put me at ease. Jennifer took the time to understand my personal style and preferences, providing thoughtful suggestions that truly transformed my look. I really like my new haircut and will be glad to come back next time!

5 /5 LC Nichols: Disclaimer: the hairdresser is my friend. Yes, my friend cut my hair. Ellie is amazing. She and my coworkers have heard and seen the disaster haircuts I have had. I went to walk in and very expensive salons. All terrible. I didnt want my friend to cut my hair but after the last disaster, what the hell... Ellie: attentive and provided options. I dont have much hair. I wanted a feather haircut with bangs. I got it!!! The layers were very well done and blended. The bangs were enough to look full and can be swipe right or left. Ellie is not your typical hairdresser. She is the best: she dry cut!!! I dont know too many hairdressers that dry cut. Ellie has the expert skills. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend Ellie.

Im absolutely obsessed, she transformed my entire look in a quick hour and I swear I felt my soul leave my body when she was washing my hair, I was in heaven!! Its so scary to trust someone with your hair, but I felt completely at ease as soon as I sat down and we started chatting about what kind of cut I was looking for. She knew exactly what to do to customize the cut for my pin straight, super fine hair, and gave it more body and movement than I ever thought was even possible! I have 100000% found my forever hair stylist, I cant wait to come back and see what else she can do! Id trust her blindly to do whatever she thinks is best for me!
