5 /5 Manikandan: Immaculata Parish at the University of San Diego is a majestic Spanish‑Revival church, dedicated in 1959. With its iconic blue mosaic dome, red tile roof, cruciform layout, and soaring bell tower, it seats about 900. Adorned with Italian chapels, stained glass, and marble, it serves both students and the community.

5 /5 G W: Attended Easter mass and had no problems with parking or seating. Its a warm and welcoming parish where all were greeted warmly. The cruciform architecture is on proud display with stunning stained glass filling the clerestory in every section. The church has incredible attention to detail everywhere you look without seeming gawdy. It is beautifully maintained. But that is just a building. The true beauty of a church is better measured by its members and its culture which comes from parish leadership. Everyone we met and saw interacted with genuinely welcoming hearts and were very gracious, all while being inundated with newcomers and nonparish members. If you have the chance, add this to your list of places to visit whether you wish to attend mass or seek a quiet moment of reflection.
