Ample, well-lit parking made the arrival stress-free, and the wide doorways and readily available ramps ensured everyone felt welcome. But it was the heart of the church that truly impressed me. The warm sunlight cascading through stained glass windows illuminated a serene sanctuary, and the air buzzed with a gentle hum of quiet prayers. Fathers homily wasnt just informative, it was a tapestry woven with personal anecdotes and profound wisdom that resonated deep within me. I left feeling uplifted and connected, like I had found a hidden gem in the heart of San Diego. Thank you, Our Lady of Angels, for reminding me of the beauty of faith and community.

5 /5 Lizzy Lopez: Father Ricardo is one of the biggest blessing this church has received. His homily are so relatable to the younger and older crowd. Going to confession he makes it so easy. He doesn’t judge and makes sure that you know you’re not a bad person for sinning. I pray everyday that the lord doesn’t take him away from us as he is a big reason on why I returned to my faith.

5 /5 Kytka: Our Lady of Angels Church, in San Diegos Sherman Heights neighborhood, is a beautiful example of Gothic Revival architecture. Established as San Diegos second Catholic parish, the church has been a spiritual center for the community since its founding. The buildings distinctive design features pointed arches and intricate detailing, characteristic of the Gothic Revival style. A beautiful building!
