Erin Stonecipher: We found Covenant when we moved to San Diego and are so glad to be part of this church family. The teaching, worship, and community is Christ-centered and biblical. The children’s ministry program offers a safe and caring environment for kids to grow in their faith and have fun with friends. If you’re looking for a church where you can be plugged in to community and be encouraged to walk daily with God, Covenant Church is it!
Dominic Cornell: Luminous City Church is unlike any church family I had been a part of! Their culture is so loving and accepting, and they truly love their city. They do monthly I Love My City events around San Diego to spread the love as Jesus would want us to. They talk the talk and walk the walk!

Church came first and was spread before a all 73 books were made canon! Am I articulating correctly?

Jonathan Son: Compass is a Jesus-centered church with a solid staff that truly cares for the church. I’ve grown a lot in 3 years and have met some of my best friends here!
P Harris: Great new church. Casual atmosphere. Sort of a mix of Baptist and non-denominational. Lots of young adults. Pastor is a good Bible teacher that adds in humor, stories and illustrations; I enjoy him! Members worked together and gave the community a wonderful outdoor service and carnival.

Worship Team: 5/5 I love the worship song they sing here. I look forward to it every week
Sermon: 3/5 The pastor is awesome and a very relational person. He has a kind heart and I like him for that. The sermon, however, leans more on speculation than on the interpretations commonly agreed upon by Biblical scholars and normal people who read the Bible. Id say some interpretation here would be considered somewhat unbiblical (eg. Abraham and Sarahs bidding war scheme in Egypt)
To me, sermon and biblical teaching is the most important, thus I rate it entirely off of it. Besides that, if you want great community, great worship music, and a loving pastor, this truly is a wonderful church!
