I arrived right when the office opened. I was the first one there and was the first one seen. The staff were friendly and professional and I was in less than 20 minutes. I recommend the Sutter Walk-In Care center in EDH.

5 /5 Jim Parola: Went in because I thought I may have Shingles. I saw NP Pam. I did have shingles which she prescribed medication and set me up with an eye doctor for that same day. My shingles was on my face and right over my right eye. She made a quick diagnosis and treated me wonderful. Later she called to make sure I got all the meds and make sure the eye doctor treated me well. Maybe the best, most professional care I have ever received. Very grateful I went in.

5 /5 Anne Hansen: I knew my hand was getting worse and hurting more, so I walked into El Dorado Hills Sutter Care and they were excellent! With a little wait, which made sense, everyone was nice and asking questions and took good care of me. I walked out knowing if I did what the doctor explained to me to do I was in great shape. I am well on the mend and thank all at EDHs walk-in-care!

5 /5 Lisa Toucher: I went to the EDH walk-in for more treatment of my ongoing flu. Previous treatment at the Folsom walk-in was a waste of time and in fact was harmful because of an Rx of prednisone, which among other disgusting things kept me awake for 48 hours. My experience at EDH was completely different. The nurse who saw me first was very detailed in her info gathering, and Shannah Marchesi, PA who saw me was excellent, and prescribed TWO antibiotics and a second chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia. Many thanks to the team at EDH!

Joseph Plassmeyer: It is true that the staff is not the friendliest, however I dont consider them to be rude. So that doesnt bother me, some people just arent wired to kiss your but. Dr Cruz has been my physician since 2009 and I have no complaints. Always personable and familiar with my health issues. Very flexible on appointments, today I called at noon to see if I could see the doctor and they got me in to see him right away. I like that. Feeling better already!

michael almaraz: The doctor is rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and most of all, does not seem to care about his patients as much as his bottom line. He never answers messages. He never keeps to his schedule. And when these things are addressed, he becomes defensive and lies. While I was involved with him, I was in severe back pain. I asked for an appointment to be evaluated for the severity of my injury, but was denied and only given pain pills. He prescribed pain pills not carried by my pharmacy and because his staff does not pick up the phone ( and when they do he doesn’t respond to messages anyway) I eventually had to drive there to address this issue in person. I was asking for an equal or generic replacement. Instead, he made me set another phone appoint for 930am two days later. He never called. 5 hours later I had to call him. I was upset and called him out for his apparent lack of empathy and unprofessional attitude at my physical pain. He cursed me and told me to go to hell and find another doctor. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FAMILY. THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN THEIR TITLES AND COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT THE PATIENTS

David Sturmer: i went in looking for another opinion and they sent a referral to the doctor I left because they have no one who can perform the procedure I need. Funny or scary you pick. and they sent me a bill for 200.00 and did nothing but send a referral and they use equipment with no maintenance tags. never saw a Doctor but got billed by one

Michelle Collier: Im a caregiver. I was taking a patient in for an epidural. Summit calls with appointment time. Then they call us back, and ask us to come in an hour earlier, which was fine... We get there on time and check in. Then we waited for two full hours to even be called to the back to begin to prep for the procedure. No one word was spoken to us in all that time by any staff regarding being behind, or sorry for your wait. Nothing at all. I think its unprofessional. They are adequate at their jobs in the back once they finally get started, which is the only reason we continue to use them. But they should either not overbook appointments, or they should let people know if something came up that has caused a delay. We can be quite understanding so long as we are informed. The lack of information signals that they dont care what you think, and that makes it very frustrating.
