Hot or not, I always enjoy walking across and taking in the design and views. It’s such a cool piece of architecture and feels peaceful no matter the season. Definitely one of my favorite spots to stop by and admire love seeing her every time.

5 /5 Kevin Wang: One of the largest Sundials in the world It’s a super cool bridge with a glass bottom (albeit it’s mostly opaque) and suspended from a giant sundial. If you’re visiting Redding it’s worth a visit. The bridge is right by downtown and other transactions (waterpark and museum) and offers a picturesque sunset viewing place. There’s a lot of paved parking around the area. It can get busy around sunset but we were still able to find a spot.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park - Redding

Suzannah Iris Rochelle: This place is a lot of fun for all ages. They have art like beautiful trash sculptures and a Lego model of the Sundial Bridge. They have animals like fish, ducks, frogs and more. The staff were friendly. There was a lot of historical facts and cool relics

Sgt Garcia: Growing up as a kid I always Loved the old (wooden) Kids Kingdom Park & structure and over the years it has grown with so many new additions like the volcano water jet splash pad as well as a newly remodeled Castle with even more features than the older wooden structure. There are more swings (handicap accessible), more slides, a zip line, rock climbing as well as a community center with calendar activities and much more! Definitely a Kids Kingdom and for sure a Must to check out!

Tiffany Robertson: I love Caldwell Park. There is a larger skate park area and a tiny one for the kids. Nice area to walk along the water, with a few spots you can walk in, get your feet wet. Its beautiful.

Ileaha Smith: We were traveling from WA state and staying in Redding when we really needed a place to unwind and let the kids run off some energy. This was the perfect park! Clean, exciting for all ages and safe.

Keith Wellborn: Best park around and perfect for the road trip. Grabbed lunch at store and stopped by for the covered picnic area.Tons of activities for the kids to burn off a little energy!! Highly recommend. Super clean bathroom and super clean play ground!

bartellj: I’ve spent my entire life looking for the world‘s largest grinding stone, and I finally found it. This beautiful piece of stone and metal machinery is absolutely breathtaking especially with the Arco gas station in the background. If you are driving down I five you absolutely must pull off and take a family portrait, or your new social media profile picture in front of this God bless the grinding stone makers!

Aaron Howard: Great views of Redding, Sacramento River, and the Sundial Bridge. Lots of open area for dogs to explore. Picknick tables are nice to sit and watch your dog.
