5 /5 Suzannah Iris Rochelle: This place is a lot of fun for all ages. They have art like beautiful trash sculptures and a Lego model of the Sundial Bridge. They have animals like fish, ducks, frogs and more. The staff were friendly. There was a lot of historical facts and cool relics

5 /5 Dave C: This is a great place to bring kiddos and adults too! They have mind benders in the Art Gallery, so you should be sure to check them out. They also have a play area in the back, where the animals are. We had the opportunity to walk with a porcupine and feed little parrots (dont remember the species).

4 /5 Makayla Whitespeare: We went to Glowing Wild and it was so amazing! Beautiful (once dark), plenty of spaces out benches for sitting, generally level terrain for wheelchairs. Some of the path wasnt paved but still leveled. Plenty of mosquitoes, so next year have some bug stuff on if they like you. I was really disappointed in the food truck selection, as the light show was SO amazing but the food available was not very good or amazing at all.

5 /5 Lawrence Chinn: A good stopover on the drive north into OR from the Bay Area. The museum itself was not large but had some well done exhibits. We were lucky on our visit to see two awesome exhibits: 1. Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau, and 2. Mindbender Mansion: Unlock the Puzzle. We stopped in again on the return trip south. The nearby sundial bridge and outdoor playground were nice as well.

5 /5 Kels: What a fun family trip!! We are from southern Oregon and decided to check out Redding for the first time, with this being our first stop… and it did NOT disappoint!!! Everybody had an amazing time, my daughter is 12 and my son is 5 and both of them said that it was the best day. Beautiful well maintained landscaping and animal enclosures, extremely friendly staff. Tons of free giveaway stuff, perfect entertainment for the little ones! You can feed parrots - so fun! And during season you can go inside the butterfly house. It was extremely hot and humid when we went, it would have been nice if they had misters along the walkway/benches but other than that, such a fun memorable experience and we will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend

bartellj: I’ve spent my entire life looking for the world‘s largest grinding stone, and I finally found it. This beautiful piece of stone and metal machinery is absolutely breathtaking especially with the Arco gas station in the background. If you are driving down I five you absolutely must pull off and take a family portrait, or your new social media profile picture in front of this God bless the grinding stone makers!

Aaron Howard: Great views of Redding, Sacramento River, and the Sundial Bridge. Lots of open area for dogs to explore. Picknick tables are nice to sit and watch your dog.

Redding Geodesic Sphere - Redding

David Marshall: Im glad they finally made thus into a place to stop at and take a closer look at the sphere! Its just kinda down a road that eventually comes to a dead end, and there isnt anything really around it, so Im sure there is not a ton of visitors to stop and look at the sculpture? The area is nice a clean. Bathroom was nice a clean when I was there. It was nice though cause nobody was there, and I could take my pics and not have to watch out for people. Its a nice place, I just hope they maybe add some more too it so that it might attract more people.

Minder Park - Redding

Jacob: Having a decent playground right next to Lema Ranch is great. The downside is the no dogs rule is not enforced and it’s not uncommon for people to let their dogs off leash, despite the signage. Last time I was there, someone’s large dog was walking up on people’s toddlers without the owner batting an eye, all while an employee was nearby.

Downieville Museum - Downieville

bartellj: So much cool history inside! You get to Learn about the gold Rush and all the minors that got rich. It’s pretty small so it’s easy to look at everything and the museum staff is very knowledgeable. Ask about the gallows up the hill.
