    Sierra Buttes Trailhead
paterjo: Great trailhead for mountain biking some of the Downieville classics like Butcher Ranch trail, Pauley Creek trail, First, Second and Third Divide trails which all end in Downieville. The trails are fairly advanced so make sure you are experienced and I recommend arm and leg armor as the rocks are sharp and the cliffs are steep. You can set up a self shuttle to get to this trail head or there are two shuttle services in Downieville. The trails are beautiful and run along Pauley Creek and some other creeks providing great scenery and the sound of water.

Jeralyn Coursey: Made a stop because we needed a driving break and the closest rest stop was closed. This park is awesome. We had a great walk in a nicely paved and gravel path. The wildlife was beautiful and the fall air was crisp. Bathrooms are clean.

James M: Awesome place, and way underpriced. Its an excellent deal, and you should definitely visit. Its an amazing museum with tons of exhibits covering numerous time periods throughout the history of Siskiyou County. The exhibits are full of excellent information and are located on two levels both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors there is a paved path, and indoors there is a seat that people who cant walk up the stairs can sit in to get. Its only $3 per person for adults and $1 per person for kids. Its open 10-3 Tuesday - Saturday. We werent sure what to expect when we visited since there wasnt a ton of information online, but we figured wed take a chance for the price. Were glad we went. It was an awesome place, even the gift shop had all sorts of cool little things to purchase. Well definitely be back!
