5 /5 Supriya Reddy: The museum is very small. Heritage chamber, To the left of entrance, is used for community events, concerts and educational programs. Research library is open on Tuesdays noon- 4pm. All other days its only by appointment. Every 3rd Saturday of the month is free. Restrooms are on the lower floor and second floor( we used these. They are separated for both genders and the Ladies restroom is so beautiful with the sitting area outside the restroom). Periscope offers the Panoramic view of the city and Mare Island when rotated. Second floor has an auditorium and artifacts from the ships. The Captains cabin on the the lower floor is beautiful. We were excited when we saw the old manual telephone exchange and cylinder talking machine.

5 /5 Sir Jones 78: It was free to get in ,but a donation was given. It was not many people there which was fine. We had time to enjoy each section.

However, it is important to arrive at the right time of year so that the butterflies are not either dead or have not yet emerged from their pubes. I was there in mid-September when the butterfly was still alive. Its like going for a walk in the tropics. Be careful not to step on the butterflies when walking around.

Medusa - Vallejo

Jack Hansen: This is a really fun ride! I think this is a ride that everyone could enjoy! Its intense, but it is nothing too crazy. The straight first drop is really fun and has some nice floater airtime. The loop and dive loop have good positive forces. The zero-g roll is my favorite inversion on the ride. It has some awesome whip as you get pushed through it. The sea serpent is a cool and unique inversion that I much prefer to a cobra roll. The mid-course brake run doesnt slow you down which is awesome! The corkscrews have a little whip to them. This is the second best ride at discovery kingdom easily and a must ride when you visit. If you are going on a busy day you might be waiting for a while due to the slow operations, popularity, and the consistent one train ops.

Vallejo Mural - Vallejo

Scheria: I am absolutely in love with this large 10 panel vallejo mural. It is such a great use of space to highlight all the cultural diversity here. Big shout of thanks to all the hands that worked together to make this happen. Will definitely be back to take it all in again. Highly recommend to art lovers.

Hanns Park - Vallejo

Ryan Milani: Hanns Park has become one of the best disc golf courses in the Bay Area. It’s a beautiful course with nine tee pads and three basket positions on every hole, offering a great variety for all skill levels. Whether youre newer to the game or an experienced player, there’s a ton of variety and challenge here. The local disc golf club is active and does a great job maintaining the course — its clear a lot of love and work goes into keeping it in great shape. The scenery is awesome too, making it a really enjoyable place to spend a few hours. Just a heads-up: make sure to lock your car and keep your valuables out of sight — normal bay area protocol. Highly recommend Hanns Park if youre looking for a great disc golf experience!

Rebecca Kesecker: Really nice trails, great scenery, dog friendly. There are single picnic tables occasionally on the trail. It costs $5/person and the trail splits are not always well marked.

Scandia Golfland - Fairfield

Sarah S: There was a super creepy man following me and my two children all over the place. He was alone, he didnt play any games, and just followed us around the arcade. I kept seeing him trying to hide behind the games while watching us. Seriously, any time we would move to a new game, a few seconds later I would look around and there he was, AGAIN. He even followed us over to the go-karts and loitered there while we had our turns, then followed us back. At the ticket counter he started filming the kids and I had enough. I asked the employee about him and she said he was a regular!! It was creepy as hell. When I finally confronted him and told him to stop filming us and stay far away from me and the kids, he copped an attitude. When we left, he followed us outside! Awful experience. We will NEVER go back. If you have children with you, keep them close to you. If you see this man following you around, leave!! I will also be writing directly to management about his extremely disturbing behavior.

Roberta Peek: This is a beautiful Bronze statue. Very detailed with leaves and fruit throughout her skirt. Its in the middle of a traffic circle. So, I took a picture as I drove around it.
