Kei Loves2Travel&Eat: amazingly dense museum, right in the heart of historic Vallejo! the curator impressed us with his stories and personal ties to the history in the region--forth generation resident!
Victoria Sampson-Diaz: I wasn’t really impressed. This park is on the waterfront but the water is too far away from the trails for me to really enjoy. We found one area that has steps down to the water but the ground is muddy not sandy, and filled with tall grass and weeds….. marshland. There are plenty of trails and the ones we walked were not difficult to navigate. We could see the water from all of them . The park is clean. There is a small parking lot with maybe 5 spaces at the entrance to the park but there is plenty of parking on the street right outside the entrance. There are picnic tables throughout the park. Dogs are welcomed but please clean up after your fur baby.
Nathaniel Huling: The $6 fee for park use during spring and summer months was unexpected but the park has a simple & quiant layout, perfect for a quick getaway in the water or a cookout.
Jesper Rasmussen: Incredibly exciting and different experience. However, it is important to arrive at the right time of year so that the butterflies are not either dead or have not yet emerged from their pubes. I was there in mid-September when the butterfly was still alive. Its like going for a walk in the tropics. Be careful not to step on the butterflies when walking around.
Jack Hansen: This is a really fun ride! I think this is a ride that everyone could enjoy! Its intense, but it is nothing too crazy. The straight first drop is really fun and has some nice floater airtime. The loop and dive loop have good positive forces. The zero-g roll is my favorite inversion on the ride. It has some awesome whip as you get pushed through it. The sea serpent is a cool and unique inversion that I much prefer to a cobra roll. The mid-course brake run doesnt slow you down which is awesome! The corkscrews have a little whip to them. This is the second best ride at discovery kingdom easily and a must ride when you visit. If you are going on a busy day you might be waiting for a while due to the slow operations, popularity, and the consistent one train ops.
