But I got charged $4500 for the emergency room (aka me sitting in their waiting room). And I now have to pay for most of that out of pocket. Sitting in the waiting room and having my vitals taken in the lobby somehow cost more than twice the cost of my x-ray. I will NEVER come back here.
Update: I called the number they left below. They said that $4600 is just their fee for seeing you and there’s nothing they can do to change it. That’s criminal. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
St. Rose Hospital - Hayward Buff Davis: If I could give this hospital ER a zero I would this was the most horrible experience ever if your I’ll DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! The nurses treat you horribly and the Doctors treatment are even worse I will not go into details but I will be filing a complaint against the whole ER DEPARTMENT
Japra Romesh K MD - Fremont Kapil Mohan: He is a genuine, knowledgeable and a very honest about his medical profession. He is the doctor of my parents and he treats them very well. I would highly recommend him for his services. My father is a heart patient for many decades and he is taking good care of him. I am glad and thankful to him for keeping my father healthy and alive.
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center - San Jose Umen Singh: Very rude staff at this hospital ranging from the security guards (male guard last name Aguilar on duty 3/15/25 around 3:30pm. I stopped by at his desk in the ER to ask for directions. He was on his cell phone and seemed to get really annoyed when bothered) stationed in the emergency room to the entire hospital staff. Staff will see clearly that you have questions and they will totally ignore you while they chit chat amongst themselves. Clearly they are in the wrong business of helping patients and their families. Wish the hospital administration had programs and trainings in place for employees to be more empathetic to patients and families when they visit the hospital. Goes a long way.
