Salon Valenti - Fremont Lashanne Phang: Vanessa is amazing! I decided to give this salon a try because of all the great review i read about her specifically. She certainly lives up to the praises. She is very professional and has great skills. Her communication is clear and she listens to what i want and what my concerns are. She made a point to tell me how much the services would cost and what she would be doing based on my requests before getting started. Definitely would return to her!
Beauty Spot Salon - Fremont Isela Hamill-Macalolooy: This will be my 3rd time going in to get pampered. Every single time I go there is exception service. You may have to wait a bit to get your needs met if you dont book an appointment but its worth the wait. If you do book an appointment they will always be ready for you. If you want to achieve a very voluminous blow out, ask for Gheeta!!! She is the sweetest and will have you looking beautiful for your occasion.
Lavender Salon & Spa - Fremont Brandon Tarter: I was lucky enough to have Thi Hoang as my cosmetologist. I had asked that she dye my hair silver, this was a challenge as I have dark brown hair. After bleaching it four times, I had expected my hair to be dead and textured like straw. Thi was already thinking 3 steps ahead, and when we were finished, my hair was still soft and as healthy as it could be (considering it was bleached four times). The color came out amazing! I would definitely recommend going to see her if you are looking to get your hair dyed!
Rudys Beauty Salon - Fremont Marilou Gonzales: I have been a customer of Rudy since around 2007. When I moved to Southern California I still would get my hair done by Rudy when I was in town. Rudy is such a wonderful hairstylist, comedian.. human being. I would recommend him to everyone! Excellent service, excellent service, wonderful conversation, prime location! I always leave Rudys salon with beautiful hair and feeling absolutely wonderful!!
Imagine Beauty Salon - Fremont su-ting tan: tldr: good price point but bad attitude
i usually don’t post on reviews but this was such a frustrating experience for me. i showed the hairdresser a photo of how i cut my hair about a year ago, and i thought he was able to get it. first cut - and the length wasn’t what i wanted so i asked to cut it a bit shorter. second cut - still wasn’t the length i was looking for so i asked for it to be slightly shorter and he got upset. to preface yes i was late to my appointment, but if that’s the case i would much rather you tell me to reschedule?? with his grumpy attitude he cut off way too much and mind you this is before a trip as well. i’ve NEVER had a hairdresser get mad bc their client asked for a shorter cut - if this was going to happen id much prefer you to check with me the length i wanted BEFORE you cut it. leaving one star because the price wasn’t bad - but keep in mind that you might get a cut that’s shorter than what’s expected.
M HAIR - Fremont Phil Yu: Very accommodating, attentive, and professional. Quality fade by Michael. Changed midway from a mid fade to a zero fade, and he continued without hesitation. He put a lot of effort in the small details like lining up, blowdrying, gelling, and combing. I wouldnt hesitate to return.

Never going there ever and would advise others to not go as well. I was in and out in less than 10 seconds. I dont know if it was the owner or not but it was the middle aged asian guy with slightly long hair who atteneded me. I walked in and requested that i needed a haircut. All good until now.
Now,imagine if you are the host what would be the first thing you’d say to a potential new customer. Out of my surprise, first thing the guy uttered out of his mouth was that we charge $40 for haircut in a tone as if i cant pay $40. Felt borderline racist. Never going there ever !! My suggestion to the owner would be train the staff on how to attend a customer before even talking about anything.
