She is meticulous and she truly listens to your needs. She will be honest and she will take care of everything. Youll leave with what you came for and a smile on your face! I highly recommend Melissa for any hair care needs. She has also styled my daughters hair for prom and it stayed put ALL NIGHT LONG! Dancing and misty evening in SF.

5 /5 Mary: My teenage son had long, straight hair that tangles very easily, but that he loved, and between his neurodivergence and his tender scalp, it was very hard for him to care for and he developed a messy knot. At La Luna, he was treated with respect and care, helping him find a look that made him happy and that was far easier for him to care for. We are extremely happy and will be back.

5 /5 ren coulthard: First time appointment was wonderful! Marty was nothing but sweet, knowledgeable, super easy to talk to and asked in depth questions about the cut i was to get. Everything was done fast and all while keeping me updated on what the process was and why! I’m always particular about who cuts my curly and frizzy hair but I felt super comfortable in Marty’s chair:) Will absolutely be coming back. Building the studio is in is wheelchair accessible but the door outside may be a bit heavy and it has no automatic door opener!

Melissa is very kind and listened to what I wanted to do to my hair and then did exactly that! My hair feels really fresh and smells amazing. If you’re looking to get a haircut this is def someone I’d recommend. The environment was also really nice and it made a big difference.
