5 /5 Hannah Grace: Towards the end of August 2023, I had a colonoscopy with Sierra Endoscopy Center. I was terribly afraid, shaking, and crying when I arrived. I had never had an IV, never been knocked out, and certainly never had a colonoscopy. I had many fears. The nurses I met were absolutely amazing. They gave me warmed blankets and made me very comfortable while I waited. They talked to me and asked me things completely unrelated to the procedure to get my mind off of it. I am forever grateful for their care for a stranger like me. They explained everything they were doing so that I wouldnt be afraid of it, and let the doctor know I was anxious. Dr. Hill was also very kind and caring about my nervousness. They quickly got me sedated, and I woke up in my bed at home 5 hours later. I cannot testify what the colonoscopy was like because I never felt it, and really wasnt even there consciously. I am very grateful to the staff for making me comfortable and making the best out of a procedure that nobody really wants to do. I am glad I got it done with this staff. Thank you!!
