1 /5 Moon Goddess: On our first meeting, Doc. Schneider acted like the nicest guy youve ever met. He assured the surgery would be a success and easy process. I asked him what his procedure is, and me, being a seamstress, he asked "do people ask how you are going to alter their garments?" I replied "absolutely, and I do my best to explain even though speaking sewing is extremely difficult." He proceeded to tell me to just let him do the surgery because he is the expert. I agreed and asked if he had a piece of mesh to show me what he would fix the hernia with. He said no. I had no idea what was going into my body but trusted him anyway.
We did the surgery a few days later.
We had our 2 or 3 week checkup where he asked how I was doing. I told him I feel like I swallowed a metal rake and it was poking me and scraping with every breath and step I take, so he told me to go home and take Motrin any time it hurts. Which was CONSTANTLY.
2 months later I go back to his office, crawling in the most excruciating pain Ive ever known. He looked at my 2 tiny scars and told me "youre fine, just keep taking Motrin" and sent me away.
4 YEARS LATER, I am STILL not fine!!! In fact, the mesh he sewed to my coopers ligament (the lesser chosen way to do the job) has turned to a ball of stone. It never has stopped feeling like a metal rake or pitchfork is jabbing through my insides. Every step I have taken in those 4 years hurts. I have spent a ton of money trying to find relief. Accupuncture, chiropractor, massage, endless doctor visits. MRIs. Surgeons do not want to do the surgery for removing the mesh because they fear they will sever nerves and possibly damage the ligament. I still have pain, the tissue through my belly feels like it never healed properly and Doc. Schneider has offered absolutely no relief!!! If I had listened to him and been taking Motrin all along, I would have complete kidney and liver failure years ago. This Doctor is a complete Moron!!!
