Scott Mellum MD - Chico Heidi Paton: Dr. Mellum cared for me during an (unexpected miracle) twin pregnancy. I was older (35) and had been told I couldnt get pregnant. He was extremely supportive and kind while we worked through all of the stages, testing, monitoring and, eventually, a month of bed rest. He ultimately was not on call to deliver when I went into premature labor but his partner, Dr. Valkeringi (sp) was great as well. I experienced moderate postpartum depression and he treated me for that as well. Dr. Mellum is an exceptional doctor and a good man. I cant begin to express my gratitude to him and his staff.
