Nutri Steph: Tongva Park in Santa Monica is a beautifully designed urban oasis that offers a variety of amenities for visitors of all ages. The park is divided into four main sections: Observation Hill, Discovery Hill, Garden Hill, and Gathering Hill. ļæ¼
One of the parkās standout features is the Observation Hill, which provides stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the iconic Santa Monica Pier. The playground at Discovery Hill is a hit among children, featuring modern climbing structures and slides that keep them engaged. Garden Hill showcases a diverse array of native and drought-tolerant plants, reflecting Californiaās coastal ecology. Gathering Hill offers open spaces perfect for picnics and community events. ļæ¼ ļæ¼ ļæ¼
The parkās design incorporates curving pathways that wind through sculpted landscapes of hills and ravines, creating a sense of exploration and tranquility. Water features and art installations add to the parkās aesthetic appeal, making it a pleasant place to relax and unwind. ļæ¼
While the park is generally well-maintained, some times there is the presence of homeless individuals in the area. However, many feel safe during daytime visits and appreciate the parkās cleanliness and amenities.
Overall, Tongva Park offers a serene escape in the heart of Santa Monica, blending natural beauty with thoughtful design. Whether youāre looking for a place to relax, play, or enjoy scenic views, this park is worth a visit.
Jimenez Yesica: This place is very high priced for each ride. They dont have plenty of rides for smaller children so the wrist band was not the best choice to go for. By the way price $30 for wrist band under 12 years old over 12 $50..each ride by its own is at least $8 for like a 2 minute ride. This is very high cost for me. Definitely clean thats why I gave them a 3 star.
Gary Standke: A really cool museum of the area. A short walk up from the 3rd st promenade. Free for residents and seniors. Lots of rooms to explore going back to the native people, through the Spanish, rancho era, to the early land speculation. Great artifacts to look at. The staff was very informative in answering questions.
Darryl Thompson: This was an incredible, fun, very very informative tour ! Ended up being just me and my lady and the TG RON ! he made the tour such a fun experience ! in time and we are forever grateful! We definitely recommend this tour ! 100% Thank you!
Payman: Its the end of Route 66. Theres plenty to see and do. The pier has been used as a backdrop to many movies and TV shows.
Just make sure to bring a sweater if youre visiting in the later hours.
JO Hernan: Nice place to see, smell the ocean, and take some good photos. Itās safe, decent restaurants to try seafood, lots of street vendors of churros, which I would not recommend at all.
It could be busy, but will be a pleasant experience.
Maria Mahler: Their walking tours are incredibly interesting and educational! After having visited Santa Monica a couple of times I joined one of their Saturday walking tours and I have to say I experienced Santa Monica from a completely different point of view. Ive always loved the place but learning so much about its (in terms of years relatively short) history and opening my view up to the incredible mix of architecture allowed me to understand it in much more depth - and with so many funny and intersting details to share with others. Our guide encouraged us to "look up more" and this advise has not only deepened my love for Santa Monica, it has also impacted the way I travel and walk around cities. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Highly recommended for anyone visiting (or in fact living in) Santa Monica.
