5 /5 Debra Shepherd: When you visit Santa Monica, your trip will not be complete without visiting the Shotgun House, which houses the Santa Monica Conservancy. This is one of the last shotgun homes in Santa Monica that was preserved. There are amazing photographs in this exhibit that give you an idea of what life was like in the early days of the community. The amazing docents take the time to engage the visitors making your visit even more meaningful. Even though the shotgun house is closed temporarily to visitors, I believe that they have recently started virtual tours. Check the website to confirm this information.
