Have been coming here for many years and always appreciate their professional and friendly service. The front desk is very communicative and accommodating about appointment times—I’m usually there every 5-6 weeks so this is a big factor for me. As a working professional I appreciate that they are generally on time and that their service is consistently good. Alicia has a skilled eye for style and great to work with as we have experimented with going longer and shorter with hairstyles. Consistently great service!
Jane Alea Salon - Pasadena Diane Scoville: Jane is a professional and her color reflects it! I get so many compliments on my blond color and highlights! She makes the most of your hair type, stays up to date on hair trends, and all the stylists in her her salon are super talented. Whether color correction or updated cut, you will leave the salon looking great.
Salon Xia - Pasadena Mel: Mark is an amazing hairdresser who nails my haircut and color every.single.time. The salon is beautiful, welcoming and chic. The service is top-notch. Pasadena Beauty Bar - Pasadena Angela Sandoval: Liz is the absolute best! She has been doing my hair for six years. She is a master at color, cut and making me feel amazing and beautiful. I love her talent and sweet beautiful personality. She also cuts my daughters hair and does an amazing job. You would be doing your self a true service to have her as your stylist.

As someone who had a Drybar membership, I cannot stress how much better La Magie is. Nearly the same price ($60 blowout), easy to get an appointment, significantly better products - its a no brainer.
Ive been coming to La Magie for a long while now, and they are absolutely consistent.
Booking: Easy to book appointments online or texting Jay the owner
Parking: Free street parking, paid lot in the back
They have wifi, snacks, water/coffee/tea, a comfortable waiting area
Most importantly, I trust a salon that uses Milbon products - especially because its impossible to buy from a store.
Every single time Ive been here, in a good mood or bad, I just think "man this is what a perfect salon feels like" - which sounds like a sponsored review, but once you realize every single aspect is so well thought out, youll realize its true.
Bokaos Aveda - Pasadena Elsa Lopez-McLeod: Was greeted warmly and punctually by staff at Bakaos. I had all my questions and concerns addressed and left feeling and looking like a million dollars . I was in the hands of very competent stylists
Upstairs Hair Salon Pasadena, CA - Womens & Mens Haircuts - Pasadena Wendy Manzanila: I took my mom for a pixie cut, but the stylist recommended shaping her hair to better suit her face. My mom agreed, and we both loved the result! The haircut was fantastic, the location was convenient, and the stylist was super nice. I forgot to take a picture to see the difference from before and after.
I totally recommend this place.
Union Salon - Pasadena Nicholes Torres: Went to Heather for a blow out today. She did a perfect job! I have received my fair share of bad blow outs and it was so refreshing to have a professional that knew what she was doing. Not only did she do a great job but she was great to talk to. It was my first time here (traveling on business) and by the time I went to leave I felt like she was a friend. Heather is new and trying to build up her clientele, I strongly recommend giving her a shot for any hair service!

Im a dark blonde but have always struggled with yellowish highlights and maintaining my blonder look.
Since coming to Sienna, my face lit up. My highlights are so natural looking and color match me perfectly, people are in awe when I tell them its highlighted. She also recommended me on a great purple shampoo so its with little to no maintenance!
It actually amazes me that it keeps getting prettier over time, due to her coloring and cutting technique and the products she uses. She is conscious of budget, health, and mind. I really love coming here and will happily recommend to anyone. Thank me later!
Salon Sonik Hair Salon Pasadena - Pasadena Tara: Highly recommend Ericka! Shes on point with color and balayage. She takes her time and really collaborates with you to get you the desired end result. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality. The shop is clean and Ive never waited more than 5 minutes before Im in the seat. If youre looking for a quality salon, youll find it in Salon Sonik!
